Role Board Games as a Tool for Reconfiguration of Innovation Factors in Forest Ecosystem Services Governance
Forest ecosystem services (FES) are considered as public or common goods facing diverging individual and societal interests affecting the quality of ecosystems and well-being of the communities. This may result in overuse, degradation or unsustainable behaviour, as well as it can create also barriers for cooperation, economic profit and innovative business initiatives. The paper introduces the methodological approach which is applied within six different innovation regions (conceptualised as social-ecological systems) within the InnoForESt H2020 project. Each region uses innovative approaches in governance of FES and payments schemes. They are situated in Austria, the Czechia and Slovakia, Finland, Germany, Italy and Finland. All are characterised by manifold, sometimes diverging, FES, such as timber, recreation, regulation services or education. In order to get a better understanding of the role and the impact of key innovation factors for the regions, we have designed a behavioural [lab] experiment in the form of a Role board game (RBG). The proposed experimental game builds on Cardenas et al. (2013) and Castillo et al. (2011) as an interactive agent-based model arranging for repeated interaction and learning in real-world situations. It contributes to testing the effectiveness of incentives provision for the sustainable production of FES and the acceptance of such an intervention by FES communities (Kluvankova et al., in press). The game enables the adaptation to the specifics of each innovation region but at the same time it keeps the same internal experimental mechanism which will enable the comparison across the regions. The main question to be addressed by the RBG is: How to create conditions to enable innovations in forest management/governance for sustainable use and well-being in innovation regions under the diverging interest of FES users? We plan to test combinations of key innovation factors as preferred future scenario for sustainable FES provisions in regions, including fundamental policy interventions (e.g. strict regulation vs. payments for ecosystem services scheme), business incentives and external risk factors. RBG will allow testing stakeholders’ specific behaviour for resource use, and innovation activities, to create economic incentive, knowledge and social value. We argue that this will help to set conditions for successful development of policy and business innovations in innovations regions and to foster collaboration on FES provision for sustainability among stakeholders in a long term

Untersuchungen allerdings kein Schluss ziehen. Penetrationsstudien an
resorbierten CPA Konzentration.
An optimal topical therapy of androgenetic diseases requires a sufficient
efficacy while systemic and local side effects remain mean. Effective drugs
associated with delivery systems, which allow the drug transport to the side
of disease could fulfill this assumption. In accordance with this, cyproterone
acetate (CPA) was tested, which is an active pharmaceutical ingredient used in
the treatment of female androgenetic alopecia, acne and hirsutismus for years.
First, pharmacodynamic and kinetic of CPA were characterised in cell
cultures. It was shown that CPA is not metabolised in the skin and the
viability of the skin cells is not affected. Moreover, unlike its cleavage
product CP, CPA has a high affinity to androgen receptor. The proliferation of
SZ95 cells is not inhibited by CPA, RU 58841 or RUM, which is due to the
absence of AR in these cells in our cell culture condition. For cutaneous
application nano- and microdispersion were produced based on experience with
SLN formulation with compritol and precirol as lipid phase and the tenside
poloxamer 188, respectively. Despite of a low tendency of precirol for
crystallisation compared to compritol, particle stability was not
satisfactory. Changing from SLN to oil loaded NLC, we improved physical
stability of the particles. Replacing miglyol by the penetration enhancer
oleic acid stabilised the system too. To investigate the influence of the
particle size on CPA penetration, precirol based microparticles were produced
in addition. Light microscopy, DSC, particle size measurement as well as
parelectric spectroscopy served for physical characterisation of all
preparations. Using parelectric spectroscopy, the incorporation of CPA into
the matrix of mixture of solid and liquid lipids and solid microspheres was
detected. Curves obtained with solid lipid nanoparticle showed CPA attached to
particle surface. Skin penetration studies showed a twofold enhancement of CPA
over the cream in human epidermis following the application of NLC-O, NLC-M
and MS for 6 h. An about fourfold enhancement was seen following the
application of SLN while we did not achieve any improved uptake when testing
the nanoemulsion. The use of oleic acid as fluid phase of NLC did not increase
the penetration compared to miglyol-based NLC. In contrast, microparticles
seemed to decrease the CPA permeation. Thus, microparticles may allow reducing
systemic side effects in the therapy of hair follicle or sebaceous gland

Urban ecosystem services in climate change mitigation
Climate change and global warming rapidly affect urban residents’ well-being. More than 72% of Europeans\nlive in urban environments, and their well-being is closely related to environmental quality. How cities are\nplanned and structured can exacerbate the negative effects of climate change even as natural elements and\ngreen areas are shrinking. The impact of high temperature on human health during heat waves will be one of\nthe most serious problems associated with climate change, and especially in large urban areas. Heat islands\nare mainly due to high concentration and large areas of impermeable surfaces, low moisture, few green areas,\nand poor ventilation. We present results from measuring heat islands at two locations in Bratislava and interview\nkey actors from three cities to identify risk perception regarding climate change. Expected results aim\nto mainstream ecosystem services into spatial planning in cities in support of operationalizing microclimatic\nfunction of green infrastructure to mitigate negative impact of climate change in cities
A VISUAL PRESENTATION OF A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
Právě mozek hraje velmi důležitou roli v hojení, v rámci intenzivní péče dochází k jeho rehabilitaci a zároveň i zapojení do tohoto procesu. ObhájenoMy bachelor's thesis focuses on a visual presentation of an organization, in this case on a new project called Brain lightening of the Clinic of burn medicine of University hospital Královské Vinohrady and 3rd Faculty of Medicine. It is a scientific and clinical project of a university interdisciplinary team that deals with critically burned patients and patients requiring intensive care. The brain plays a very important role in healing and during intensive care is involved in the rehabilitation process. The main goal is to improve the patient's quality of life. They use the most modern technologies and procedures, including mainly brain stimulation to prevent further damage and loss of its function. The approach is based on an individual approach to the patient, with day and night established regime, simulation of a natural home environment and stimulation of the brain with VR technology. The project expresses a very positive view on healing and individual approach in modern and unique procedures. The main theme of the brain and its function is presented in a simple logotype, icon and mercantile which consists of business cards, letterheads, envelopes, name tags and flyers. The depiction of the brain's stylized chaotic neurons in contrast to calm pattern waves is portrayed in posters which point to an expert's lectures as well as in the presentation which will be seen as part of one lecture
