In modern lathe used system is to make the gear head gear as the transmission power is driven by an electric motor. So that there is a relationship between the electric motor power on a lathe with head gear system to the cutting depth on a lathing process. Sistem elektrikal yang bekerja pada motor starter untuk mengubah energi listrik dari sumber arus (baterai) menjadi energi mekanik (putar). Motor DC seri mengkonsumsi daya listrik arus searah dengan kumparan medan yang dibangkitkan untuk membentuk medan magnet yang dihubungkan secara seri dengan kumparan armature. Arus yang mengalir pada konduktor di rangkaian motor menimbulkan gaya gerak listrik atas tejadinya gaya Lorentz sehingga menghasilkan putaran dan torsi dengan besaran 2249,86 Nm. Dari hambatan yang ada pada motor strarter didapat efisiensi dari motor 24v 4,5kw. Putaran yang dihasilkan motor ditransmisikan dengan reduksi roda gigi pinion dengan roda gigi cincin pada flywheel atas perhitungan roda giginya. Perbandingan roda gigi ditentukan untuk mereduksi putaran dan ditingkatkan torsinya dengan reduksi roda gigi planet. Gigi dari pinion dan ring pada flywheel berbanding 15:1 dan perbandingan gigi dari roda gigi planet 3,8:1, sehingga didapat jumlah torsi 57 unit Nm

    Natural composites now being developed in order to shift the presence of synthetic composites which tend valuable expensive and not environmentally friendly. One of the natural potential that has not been widely used as a reinforcement of composites is waste Java goat hair pieces obtained from the home tanning goat skins. But before it can be used as reinforcement in composite materials must be known physical and mechanical properties of the material. The purpose of this study was to describe the tensile strength of the composite polyester fiber goat hair due to the influence of chemicals percentage of NaOH and describe macro photographs after tensile testing due to the influence of the percentage of NaOH. The initial process of soaking the fiber using a solution of NaOH chemicals with their respective percentage of 4%, 5%, 6% and 7% for 60 minutes. Further drying is done under the sun to dry. Then the fiber is cut into pieces with a length of 10 mm. Manufacture of composites using hand lay-up with a percentage of 30% fiber volume fraction and composite tensile test performed with standard ASTM D 638-02 and macro photographs fracture results from a composite of polyester fiber goat hair. The results showed that the influence of the percentage of NaOH solution of chemicals used in immersion goat hair fibers affect the mechanical properties of the resulting composites. Fiber-reinforced composites goat hair with the effect of the percentage of 5% NaOH for 60 minutes has the highest tensile strength of the price that is equal to 19 254 MPa.     Sistem bahan bakar merupakan proses mengalirnya bahan bakar dari tangki menuju pompa bahan bakar sebelum bahan bakar disemprotkan ke ruang bakar. Pompa bahan bakar yang digunakan adalah pompa plunger. Pada sistem bahan bakar terdapat komponen elektrik yang berguna untuk membuka dan menutup aliran bahan bakar menuju kepompa bahan bakar yaitu solenoid cut off. Pada wheel loader, komponen elektrik tersebut sering terjadi kerusakan sebelum hm mencapi 1000 sehingga menjadi kekecewaan terhadap konsumen setelah membeli unit tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsumsi bahan bakar pada putaran tertentu, menentukan spesifikasi pompa bahan bakar yang akan digunakan untuk sistem bahan bakarbakar wheel loader dan mengidentifikasi komponen pada wheel loader yang cepat rusak terutama yang berada pada sistem bahan bakar. Untuk mencari konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik diperlukan beberapa data yang kemudian di olah. Yang pertama yaitu menentukan torsi dengan menggunakan variasi putaran, Untuk menentukan spesifikasi pompa bahan bakar diperlukan study literarur kebengkel resmi pompa bahan bakar bakar sehingga kita dapat lebih mudah menentukan dimensi pompa yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan bahan bakar. Untuk mengidentifikasi komponen wheel loader yang cepat rusak diperlukan pemeriksaan secara visual pada sistem bahan bakarnya, setelah mengetahui bahwa solenoid cut off yang cepat rusak kemudian kita ganti solenoid dengan yang baru kemudian masalah terpecahkan, tetapi penggantian solenoid cut off merupakan pemecahan masalah yang kurang baik karena life time solenoid yang baru juga tidak akan lama, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisa terjadinya kerusakan dan kemudian dilakukan improvement pada solenoid cut off dengan cara merubah cara kerja dari solenoid tersebut Dari hasil perhitungan secara teoritis didapatkan bahwa pada putaran 1400 rpm merupakan konsumsi bahan bakar terendah yaitu 195,16 g/kw.jam dengan torsi 900 dengan daya 176,783 HP. Pompa bahan bakar yang di perlukan adalah pompa dengan dimensi; diemeter plunger 0,9 cm, S (panjang langkah plunger) 0,2 cm dan Dh (lubang buang pada plunger) 0,45 cm. Kerusakan solenoid cut off sebelum HM mencapai 1000 di karenakan arus selalu masuk ke solenoid cut off sebesar 2.71 mA pada saat engine running. Setelah dilakukan improvement, arus yang masuk ke solenoid hanya sebesar 0,83 mA

The way the lift cylinder works is to change the mechanical energy from the engine speed that is channeled to the pump into fluid pressure energy (oil flow) then convert it back into mechanical energy on the hydraulic cylinder. The purpose of this research is to analyze the damage, the cause of damage, the step of repairing the hydraulic system, knowing the magnitude of the loss of force and the discharge of the lift cylinder on the SD23 bulldozer. The inspection procedure performed on the lift cylinder is a visual inspection and performance test on the lift cylinder. In addition, measurement of oil pressure in the pressure plug is also done at full speed to determine the pump pressure and determine the value of the speed of the cylinder lift up and down on the bulldozer unit that has trouble. The results of the analysis show that the cause of trouble in the lift cylinder is rubbing the seal with a dirty rod, semi-dry dirt (scuff wear). Yang menjadi permasalahan setelah pemasangan dari perangkat side shifter ini adalah mengenai tingkat kestabilan dari forklift dan kebutuhan tekanan oli hydraulic. Untuk mengetahui permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan analisa tingkat kestabilan dan analisa hydraulic. Dari analisa didapat hasil, untuk analisa kestabilan forklift saat mengangkat beban CG combined berada pada titik 1220 mm dari axle roda belakang antara roda depan dan roda belakang mendapat gaya sebesar 3088,70 kg, 1851,76 kg, untuk analisa kestabilan forklift saat menggunakan side shifter letak CG berada pada titik 1220 mm dari axle roda belakang dan 612,5 mm dari ujung tepi roda depan tumpuan A dan tumpuan B mendapat gaya sebesar 1964,30 kg, 480 kg. Dari analisa hydraulic didapat hasil, Kecepatan geser (v ) = 12,05 mm/s, Tekanan fluida kerja pada cylinder = 0,645 N/mm², Beban maksimal yang boleh di muat adalah 2410,22 kg.     Brake pads are one component of a motor vehicle which is used to slowor stop the vehicle. When at high-speed vehicle brake has a very important role. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of the environment in the form of spraying with water, sea water, and oil to the friction coefficient of the brake pads and investigate adhesion resistance resulting of a break from the manufacture of brake pads Fly Ash compared with Honda Genuine Parts brake. This research was conducted by mixing ingredients brake pads according to a predetermined composition, press the brake pads with a load of 3 tons for 30 minutes, then heated to a temperature of 120 0C for 30 minutes. The method is performed in testing the friction coefficient is based on the standard ASTM C1028. To determine the value of the resistance of glue or adhesive shear loads due to the brake pads using the ASTM D3737 standard, in place on the die according to ASTM standard D905. Analysis is conducted after got data of testing result. The results showed that the friction coefficient brake Honda Genuine Parts at 0.64μ while the friction coefficient brake Fly Ash of 0.60μ. But the brake condition given spraying water, sea water, and oil brake Fly Ash is better than Honda Genuine Parts. From the test results and the calculation of shear strength indicates that the brake pads Fly Ash not better than the Honda Genuine Parts brake. This is evidenced from the results of testing the shear strength of Honda Genuine Parts brake at 3.552×106 (N/m2) while the brake Fly Ash at 2.471×106 (N/m2)

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui besaran gaya yang terjadi pada rem untuk kendaraan roda empat dengan analisis berubah – ubah jarak pengereman anatara 5m, 10m, 15m, dengan variasi kecepatan kendaraan 40 km/jam, 50km/jam, 60km/jam, 70km/jam, 80km/jam Dari perhitungan dinamika kendaraan pengereman, ditemukan bahwa MOBIL NASIONAL MINI TRUCK kendaraan dengan kecepatan 80km/jam dengan jarak pengereman 5 meter waktu yang dibutuhkan adalah 0,45 detik, memberikan perlambatan kendaraan adalah 49.284 m/dt. Serta menghasilkan gaya tuas rem dari silinder rem kiri adalah 2527.44 N. dan gaya tuas rem dari silinder rem kanan adalah 1932.75 N. disini juga menghitung gaya injak pedal terhadap tekanan minyak apabila pedal rem diberi beban 5kgf maka tekanan minyak adalah 14.93 kg/cm2.
