A summary of experimental results from the Pentaquark 2004 Workshop held at the SPring-8 facility in Japan is given. New results from the LEPS collaboration are highlighted, and older results are reviewed. Non-observations are also discussed in light of theoretical estimates of possible Θ+\Theta^+ production mechanisms. The problem of the narrow width and the parity of the Θ+\Theta^+ are explored and point to future experimental work that is needed.Comment: 8 pages, no figures, proceedings of the Pentaquark 2004 Workshop held at SPring-8 (Japan), July 200

The assumptions, methodologies, and conclusions of the NASA SPS studies were assessed and criticized to identify critical issues and to make recommendations for follow-on works. An assessment of the following items was made: beam forming and control, microwave amplifiers, radiating elements, and the rectenna. It was concluded that top priority should be given to determining an upper limit for permissible microwave power density which can be sent through the ionosphere

We summarize some of the main physics questions that will serve to define the linear e+e- collider program, and comment on issues that confront the world community in making such a collider a reality.Comment: 16 pp, Summary of Linear Collider Workshop, FNAL Oct. 200

Frontiers of Astrophysics - Workshop Summary

We summarize recent results presented in the astrophysics session during a conference on ``Frontiers of Contemporary Physics''. We will discuss three main fields (High-Energy Astrophysics, Relativistic Astrophysics, and Cosmology), where Astrophysicists are pushing the limits of our knowledge of the physics of the universe to new frontiers. Since the highlights of early 1997 were the first detection of a redshift and the optical and X-ray afterglows of gamma-ray bursts, as well as the first well-documented flares of TeV-Blazars across a large fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum, we will concentrate on these topics. Other topics covered are black holes and relativistic jets, high-energy cosmic rays, Neutrino-Astronomy, extragalactic magnetic fields, and cosmological models.Comment: Proceedings of the Workshop "Frontiers in Contemporary Physics", Nashville, May 11-16, 1997, AIP-conference series, Ed. T. Weiler & R. Panvini, LaTex(aip2col), 13 pages, preprint also available at http://www.astro.umd.edu/~hfalcke/publications.html#frontier

We give an updated summary of the topics covered in Working Group I of the 2nd Workshop on the CKM Unitarity Triangle, with emphasis on the results obtained since the 1st CKM Workshop. The topics covered include the measurement of |V_{ub}|, of |V_{cb}| and of non-perturbative Heavy Quark Expansion parameters, and the determination of b-hadron lifetimes and lifetime differences.Comment: 12 pages, 8 figures. Based on Working Group I's summary talk given by L.L. for the group's convenors (Elisabetta Barberio (SMU), Lawrence Gibbons (Cornell), Toru Iijima (Nagoya), L.L.) at the 2nd Workshop on the CKM Unitarity Triangle, IPPP Durham, 5-9 April, 200
