    This paper analyses the relationship between workers' gender and monetary incentives in an experimental setting based on a double-tournament scheme. The participants must choose between a piece-rate payment or a performance prize. The results show that women tend to shy away from competition, and are less sensitive than men to the monetary incentives of the tournament. In addition the tournament scheme induces males, but not women, to signal their ability and to select the contract which is more profitable for them.gender, incentives, work, experiment

    The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of organizational climate and the application of occupational safety and health on employee work productivity in the production process at PT. Berkat Ganda Sentosa partially and simultaneously. This study used quantitative methods. The research population is 1,760 employees at PT. Berkat Ganda Sentosa. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling method to obtain a research sample of 95 respondents in the production sector. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression tests with the SPSS program. The results proved that the organizational climate had a significant effect on employee work productivity, while the application of occupational safety and health had a significant effect on employee work productivity. The results are simultaneously known that the organizational climate and the implementation of occupational safety and health have a significant effect on employee work productivity in the production process at PT. Berkat Ganda Sentosa, it means that a good organizational climate and the provision of occupational safety and health implementation can increase employee work productivity

    There are many factors that affect work productivity. This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work stress on work productivity. The population in this study was female employees at X University and the research sample was 50 employees. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research method used was a quantitative method using research instruments, namely work productivity scale, workload scale, and work stress scale. Analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis technique. The findings show that workload and work stress significantly affect work productivity (F= 17.561, p= .000). High and low workloads and work stress can predict employee work productivity

    Work productivity in lecturer: Case in the private university in Yogyakarta, Indonesia

    Workload and stress in the workplace are factors which can influence work productivity in lecturers. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of workload and work stress on the productivity of lecturers at the University of X Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The res0earch subjects were 85 lecturers at the University of X Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The sampling technique was randomized by using a simple random sampling technique. Methods of collecting data are by using the scale of workload, work stress scale, and work productivity scale. Data analysis is carried out by multiple linear regression techniques. The results show that workload and work stress simultaneously affects lecturers' productivity (p-value = .019, (p<.05)), there is a significant effect between workload and lecturer work productivity as indicated by the value p = .048 (p <.05) and there is a significant effect of work stress on lecturer work productivity which is shown by the value p = .037 (p <.05)

    Sumber daya yang berkualitas merupakan faktor penentu dalam upaya peningkatan produktifitas dalam sebuah perusahaan. Anamia merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakatyang serius karena berdampak pada perkembangan fisik dan psikis, perilaku dan kerja. Pada wanita dewasa penderita anemia dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kerja fisik. Penurunan daya tahan tubuh, ketelitian, menurunnya produktifitas. PT Candi Mekar memperkerjakan tenaga wanita pada bagian weaving I berjumlah 90 orang. Tenaga tersebut diduga rawan tehadap gejala anemia yang dapat menyebabkan produktivitas kerja rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan IMT, kadar haemoglobin dengan produktivitas kerja pada pekerja wanita bagian weaving I PT.Candi Mekar pemalang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research, dengan pendekatan Cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 90 orang yang diambil sebagai sampel penelitian sebanyak 47 orang dengan tehnik sampel random sampling. Status gizi dengan 47 sampel menunjukan 38 Orang (80,9%) dengan status gizi normal, 7 orang (14,9%) dengan status gizi kurang dan sisanya 2 orang (4,3%) dengan status gizi lebih. Kadar haemoglobin dengan 47 sampel menunjukan 43 orang (91,5%) dengan kadar haemoglobin tidak normal, 4 orang (8,5%) dengan kadar haemoglobin normal. Produktifitas kerja dengan 47 sampel menunjukan 38 orang (80,9%) tidak produktif, 9 orang (19,1%) produktif. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara IMT, kadar haemoglobin dengan produktifitas kerja dilakukan uji statistik korelasi person product moment. Hasil uji staistik IMT dengan produktifitas kerja r=0,156 dan p=0,296 dan hasil uji statistik kadar haemoglobin dengan produktifitas kerja r=0,336 dan p=0,021. Hasil penelitian mununjukan tidak ada hubungan antara IMT dengan produktivitas kerja dan ada hubungan antara kadar haemoglobin dengan produktivitas kerja. Saran yang diberikan adalah tenaga yang diperiksa menderita anemia supaya mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung zat-zat besi, antara lain sayur-sayuran hijau, kuning telur, daging dan mengkonsumsi suplemen tablet besi serta perlu pemeriksaan kadar haemoglobin berulang selama 3 bulan sekali. Intention of this resoures is to know is there any relation of mass body indek, haemoglobin and the work Productivity at worker of part of weaving I PT.Candi Mekar. This research is explanatory research, with approach cros sectional. This research population amount to 90 people who is taken by as sample research of content 47 people with the technique of simple random sampling. The nutritial with 47 sample show 38 people (80,9%) withnormal status 7 people (14,9%) are less and 2 people (4,3%) are more. The haemoglobin with 47 sample, show 43 people, show 43 people (91,5%) not normal 4 people(8,5%) normal. The work productivity with 47 sample show 38 people (80,9%) not productive 9 people (91,1%) productive. To know the relation of between mass body indek, haemoglobin and the work Productivity conducted by a statistic corelation person product moment. Result of statistic mass body indeks with the work Productivity r=0,156 and p=0,296 and result of statistic haemoglobin with the work Productivity r=0,336 and p= 0,021. The result of resoures show there is no relation of between mass body indeks with work Productivity and corelation of between mass body indeks with work Produtivity and corelation of between haemoglobin with work Productivity. Suggestion given by is labor checked the anemia to consume the food contains of ferrum, such as green vegetables, egg yolk, meat, feros suplement etc and also need the recuring rate haemoglobin inspection during 3 month once.     Generally every company will always try to increase its productivity. The purposes of its productivity are to increase material efficiency, reduce cost of production and optimizing time output. One of indication on increasing effective and efficient work productivity is spirit of work. High spirit of work will increase its productivity because the employer will do their job well so the job will be finished faster and better. Beside that right compensation will make the employer will have their work with high motivation and it will give benefit to the company. According to topic above, purpose of this experiment are to analyst of compensation effect to productivity of work, analyst the spirit of work effect to productivity of work and also to analyst compensation effect and the spirit of work effect to productivity of work. We collect data from 67 respondents of P.T. Organik Alam Lestari. We use probability sampling method. The analyzing method are quantitative and qualitative analyst. We use statistic analyst including correlation analyst, regression and also hypothesis. Hypothesis that we used is there are positive impact between independent variable and dependent variable, partially and collectively. The result, there are strong correlation (0,587) between compensation (X1) and work productivity (Y). From “Z” result, we find that Zhitung > Ztabel (2,75 > 1,96) and the conclusion is compensation variable (X1) give positive effect and significant to work productivity variable (Y). From second hypothesis we get value 0,637, that means there are strong correlation between spirit of work variable (X2) and work productivity (Y) and also Zhitung > Ztabel (5,52 > 1,96). The conclusion is spirit of work variable (X2) give positive effect and significant to work productivity variable (Y). we can prove that the hypothesis is a truth

    The objective of the resrach to find out the relationship between the application of ergonomics and work productivity for office staff at the Sawerigading Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Palopo City in 2022.&nbsp;This research design uses a quantitative method using a cross-sectional approach, namely a research method that places more emphasis on the time of observation of independent and dependent variable data only once at a time. This research was carried out in the Office Room of the Sawerigading General Hospital, Palopo City, which was held from May to August 2022. The result of the research showed&nbsp;There is no significant relationship between the application of ergonomics and work productivity in the office staff of the Sawerigading Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Palopo City in 2022. The statistical test results using the chi square test were obtained (p value &gt; .05) = 1,000, so H0 is accepted
