Design and Implementation of Part of Information System in the Company XY

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na návrh implementace zvolené části ERP systému, který vychází z funkčních požadavků firmy XY. Vzhledem k rozsáhlosti systému se bude tato práce zabývat pouze jednou funkční oblastí, a to konkrétně řízením majetku. Hlavní částí práce je vytvoření modulu na evidenci majetku a jeho inventur pomocí systému čárových kódů, který není standardní součástí systému. Tento nový modul je navrhován pro implementaci v Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.The thesis focuses on the implementation of the chosen part of the ERP system, which is based on functional requirements of the company. Due to the extensiveness of the system, this work deals with only one functional area, and more specifically with the management of assets. The main part of the work is aimed at creation of a module for registration of property and its inventories using the barcode system, which is not a standard part of the system. This new module is proposed for the implementation in Microsoft Dynamics AX in 2012.

Optical Observations of PSR J0205+6449

PSR J0205+6449 is a X-ray and radio pulsar in supernova remnant 3C 58. We report on observations of the central region of 3C 58 using the 4.2-m William Herschel Telescope with the intention of identifying the optical counterpart of PSR J0205+6449 and characterising its pulsar wind nebula. Around the pulsar position we identified extended emission with a magnitude of B = 23 \fm 97 \pm 0.10, V = 22 \fm 95 \pm 0.05 and R = 22 \fm 15 \pm 0.03 consistent with a pulsar wind nebula. From the R-band image we identified three knots with $m_R$ = 24 \fm 08 \pm 0.07 (o1), 24 \fm 15 \pm 0.07 (o2) and 24 \fm 24 \pm 0.08 (o3). We confirm the presence of an optical pulsar wind nebula around PSR J0205+6449 and give an upper limit of $m_R \approx$ 24 for the optical magnitude of the pulsar. Furthermore we make the tentative suggestion that our object o1, with an $m_R \approx$ 24.08 is the optical counterpart. If confirmed the pulsar would have an $L_R/L_x\approx 0.004$ and an optical efficiency of about 5% of the Crab pulsar. Such a low efficiency is more consistent with the characteristic age of the pulsar rather than that of SN 1181.Comment: The paper contains 3 figures and 3 tables, accepted for publication in MNRA

Propiedades de Calidad de Servicio en el Descubrimiento de Recursos Grid

Uno de los problemas abiertos en el contexto de las Arquitecturas Orientadas a Servicios es del descubrimiento de recursos y/o servicios adecuados para llevar a cabo una tarea determinada. Los proveedores de información Grid básicamente ofrecen información funcional sobre los recursos Grid que monitorizan, por lo que los modelos de información Grid básicamente representan esta información sintáctica, y los consumidores de información Grid usan normalmente dichas propiedades funcionales para seleccionar recursos. En la práctica, muchos trabajos se reinician debido a fallos en los recursos, aunque existen iniciativas que tratan de usar técnicas aisladas para manejar algunas propiedades de calidad de servicio. En el presente artículo se propone un nuevo enfoque para modelar recursos Grid junto con propiedades de calidad de servicio. Por un lado, este modelo está basado en una ontología desarrollada para integrar los modelos existentes tanto a nivel de representación de información Grid como de calidad de servicio en general. Por otro lado, también propone la creación de un sistema de medida - actualmente en desarrollo - para algunas propiedades de calidad de servicio (disponibilidad, rendimiento y fiabilidad)

Shin, Cin, and Jinn in far east Asian, central east Asian, and middle eastern cultures : case studies in transethnic communication by exchange of terminology for elementary spiritual concepts of ethic groups

Methodology and Objects: Methodologically, from a diachronic linguistics perspective regarding the concept of the shin, spirits in folk belief in China and neighbouring cultures, we compare texts that comprise meanings a) historically in the local language and b) compared to the meanings of equivalent terms in languages of other cultures. Comparing sources of this belief, we examine if and how the shin belief can serve as an example of communication across cultural borders including practical forms of worshipping. Argumentation: We argue that the concept of the shin is across cultural and national borders a result from folk culture transcending political or cultural borders transmitted via migration of ethnic groups. Although similar, mind concepts of different cultures and groups never melted; evidence for this independence gives the Islamic distinctive separation between shin and jinn in this area in the Chinese Quran and other spiritual Chinese writings. On the other hand, the practice of worshipping is similar. Conclusions: A spiritual concept like shin varies in practice in different areas. Central Asia as the melting pot of Chinese and Middle East culture shows the cultural practice of Shamanism with shin belief, complex mind concepts like in Daoism, and religions incorporating shin belief (Islam). Observed changes in the particular local languages show the continuity of the local set of meanings. Multilingual and multicultural areas such as Central Asia rather integrate new words to increase their thesaurus with new meanings than to change the set of previous existing meanings in the languages. Arabic as a language of conquerors in Central Asia is a typical example for such a language that serves as a tool to set up new meanings

The complexity of a hybrid life: Female immigrants in France and Germany in search of their own identity

Female Muslim immigrants in France and Germany are increasingly experiencing challenges integrating into Western lifestyle. They have to adjust to occidental communities in which they try to incorporate their own traditions and values. They experience feelings of simultaneous belonging and rejection at the same time. My research concentrated on the adaptation of Muslim Women in Germany and France. Although many similarities exist between the French and German immigrant groups, it was necessary to examine each one separately. In order to understand Islamic female immigrants\u27 quest for a new identity, it was beneficial not only to address the sociocultural aspects of their lives, but also to examine the great influence immigrant literature and mass media have on them. I hope academic endeavors such as mine will be a step in the direction of a society that will be more aware of racism and sexism

Politische Partizipation als Verbandsarbeit: Der Bund der Steuerzahler zwischen Mitgliederinteressen und Gemeinwohl

In dem Beitrag werden die Entstehungshintergründe, Ziele und Interessen des Bundes der Steuerzahler (BdSt) erläutert. Anhand von Beispielen werden die Formen der Beteiligung des Verbandes am politischen Willensbildungsprozess verdeutlicht. Steuerzahler, die grundsätzlich bereit sind, ehrlich Steuern zu zahlen, haben mit der Unterstützung von einflussreichen Interessengruppen wie dem BdSt die Gelegenheit, langfristig auf die Entwicklung der Steue rgesetzgebung, Steuererhebung und Steuerverwendung einzuwirken. Zwar können aus dem Handeln eines einzelnen Verbandes keine Rückschlüsse auf die grundsätzliche Bereitschaft von Steuerpflichtigen, ehrlich Steuern zu zahlen, gezogen werden, doch kann dem BdSt vor dem Hintergrund der sozialwissenschaftlichen und ökonomischen Verbändetheorien trotz seiner stark ausgeprägten Interessenvertretung eine gewisse Gemeinwohlfunktion infolge der Ermöglichung von politischer Partizipation und infolge seines Streitens für die Verwirklichung bestimmter allgemeiner Ziele, wie bspw. die sparsame Verwendung öffentlicher Finanzmittel und die Berücksichtigung finanzpolitischer Nachhaltigkeit, nicht abgesprochen werden. --Politische Partizipation,Steuerehrlichkeit,Verbände,Steuerzahlerorganisation,Steuerzahlerbewegung,Bund der Steuerzahler
