FIK UBL Website is the website of the Faculty of Computer Science education at the University of Bandar Lampung. Domain name is www.fik.ubl.ac.id. This website is a subdomain of the University website www.ubl.ac.id. website uses ac.id as Country Code Top level domains, domain primarily UBL, and Third-level domain taken Website Hosting Server at Nusanet provider. In terms of design websites using CMS, the CMS Lokomedia. Scientific Writing will specifically focus on the analysis of UBL-based FIK website ISO / IEC 9126-4 for the use of quality measurement. In this regard, in ISO / IEC 9126-4, there are 4 metrics used to measure, among other effectiveness metrics, productivity metrics, security metrics, and Satisfaction Metrics. More specific explanation will describe in Chapter IV the author of scientific writing is about the quality of the use of UBL FIK website
Browser-based Analysis of Web Framework Applications
Although web applications evolved to mature solutions providing sophisticated
user experience, they also became complex for the same reason. Complexity
primarily affects the server-side generation of dynamic pages as they are
aggregated from multiple sources and as there are lots of possible processing
paths depending on parameters. Browser-based tests are an adequate instrument
to detect errors within generated web pages considering the server-side process
and path complexity a black box. However, these tests do not detect the cause
of an error which has to be located manually instead. This paper proposes to
generate metadata on the paths and parts involved during server-side processing
to facilitate backtracking origins of detected errors at development time.
While there are several possible points of interest to observe for
backtracking, this paper focuses user interface components of web frameworks.Comment: In Proceedings TAV-WEB 2010, arXiv:1009.330
Web-enabled knowledge-based analysis of genetic data
We present a web-based implementation of GenePath, an intelligent assistant tool for data analysis in functional genomics. GenePath considers mutant data and uses expert-defined patterns to find gene-to-gene or gene-to-outcome relations. It presents the results of analysis as genetic networks, wherein a set of genes has various influence on one another and on a biological outcome. In the paper, we particularly focus on its web-based interface and explanation mechanisms
Web-based Tools for the Analysis of DNA Microarrays
End of project reportDNA microarrays are widely used for gene expression profiling. Raw data resulting from microarray experiments, however, tends to be very noisy and there are many sources of technical variation and bias. This raw data needs to be quality assessed and interactively preprocessed to minimise variation before statistical analysis in order to achieve meaningful result. Therefore microarray analysis requires a combination of visualisation and statistical tools, which vary depending on what microarray platform or experimental design is used.Bioconductor is an existing open source software project that attempts to facilitate
analysis of genomic data. It is a collection of packages for the statistical programming
language R. Bioconductor is particularly useful in analyzing microarray experiments. The
problem is that the R programming languageās command line interface is intimidating to
many users who do not have a strong background in computing. This often leads to a
situation where biologists will resort to using commercial software which often uses
antiquated and much less effective statistical techniques, as well as being expensively
priced. This project aims to bridge this gap by providing a user friendly web-based
interface to the cutting edge statistical techniques of Bioconductor
A hybrid method for the analysis of learner behaviour in active learning environments
Software-mediated learning requires adjustments in the teaching and learning process. In particular active learning facilitated through interactive learning software differs from traditional instructor-oriented, classroom-based teaching. We present behaviour analysis techniques for Web-mediated learning. Motivation, acceptance of the learning approach and technology, learning organisation and actual tool usage are aspects of behaviour that require different analysis techniques to be used. A hybrid method based on a combination of survey methods and Web usage mining techniques can provide accurate and comprehensive analysis results. These techniques allow us to evaluate active learning approaches implemented in form of Web tutorials
Lost in translation: data integration tools meet the Semantic Web (experiences from the Ondex project)
More information is now being published in machine processable form on the
web and, as de-facto distributed knowledge bases are materializing, partly
encouraged by the vision of the Semantic Web, the focus is shifting from the
publication of this information to its consumption. Platforms for data
integration, visualization and analysis that are based on a graph
representation of information appear first candidates to be consumers of
web-based information that is readily expressible as graphs. The question is
whether the adoption of these platforms to information available on the
Semantic Web requires some adaptation of their data structures and semantics.
Ondex is a network-based data integration, analysis and visualization platform
which has been developed in a Life Sciences context. A number of features,
including semantic annotation via ontologies and an attention to provenance and
evidence, make this an ideal candidate to consume Semantic Web information, as
well as a prototype for the application of network analysis tools in this
context. By analyzing the Ondex data structure and its usage, we have found a
set of discrepancies and errors arising from the semantic mismatch between a
procedural approach to network analysis and the implications of a web-based
representation of information. We report in the paper on the simple methodology
that we have adopted to conduct such analysis, and on issues that we have found
which may be relevant for a range of similar platformsComment: Presented at DEIT, Data Engineering and Internet Technology, 2011
