Mobile Learning is interaction of mobile computing and e-learning provides resources that can be accessed from anywhere, the ability of the formidable search system, rich interactions, full support to an effective learning and assessment based on performance. Mobile Learning has the characteristic of not depending on location and time. The process of teaching and learning can be done anywhere and anytime. Along with the development of information technology, mobile phone technology is also experiencing rapid improvement. Educational needs require alternative models are also expected to provide on-site knowledge sharing and knowledge visualization so that knowledge becomes more attractive and easy to understand.   Keywords: computer networking, android, mobile learning.   &nbsp

Towards Simple Interaction in the Classroom: an NFC Approach

In a given environment, distributing different devices with computing capabilities around us opens up new possibilities. It allows simple and easy interaction between user and computer. In this work we propose an approach to make it easier to handle information in the educational context and to do so we have adapted Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, which provides a simple input to the system. The user only has to bring his/her mobile phone, equipped with a radiofrequency reader, near to a tag, obtaining services like localization, access, or presence. Most importantly for us, we present the visualization of information in what we have called a “Visualization Mosaic”.In a given environment, distributing different devices with computing capabilities around us opens up new possibilities. Nowadays, there are devices with great computing capabilities and these in different places around us. This technology opens us new possibilities and allows us the simple and easy interaction between user and computer. We propose in this work an approach to make it easier to handle information in the ducational context; we have adapted Near Field Communication (NFC) technology which provides a simple input to the system to come from the own context like of the environment. For this, it is necessary only the user bring his/her mobile phone, equipped with a radiofrequency reader, and near it to tag obtaining services like localization, access, presence and, the most important for us, the visualization of information.Nowadays, there are devices with great computing capabilities and these in different places around us. Specht, M., Ternier, S., & Greller, W. (2011). Dimensions of Mobile Augmented Reality for Learning: A First Inventory. Journal of the Research for Educational Technology (RCET), 7(1), 117-127. Spring 2011.This article discusses technological developments and applications of mobile augmented reality (AR) and their application in learning. Augmented reality interaction design patterns are introduced and educational patterns for supporting certain learning objectives with AR approaches are discussed. The article then identifies several dimensions of a user context identified with sensors contained in mobile devices and used for the contextualization of learning experiences. Finally, an AR game concept, “Locatory”, is presented that combines a game logic with collaborative game play and personalized mobile augmented reality visualization

Learning is a interaction processes between students, teachers, and materials in the learning environment. Learning in the past gave the impression of being boring because it was done manually. today, Learning requires a touch of technology to provide concrete visualization and also encourage students to be more enthusiastic in learning. The touch of technology provides the difference between past learning and today's learning. A teacher needs a technology that can support the implementation of learning, one of which is the use of mobile applications in learning mathematics. To improve the quality of students in learning mathematics, the Mathematics Education Study Program conducts student self-development efforts through mobile training. Students participate in training activities well, and they are able to operate mobile applications that can help learning. This training is very important to improve the soft skills and hard skills of students. Mathematics Education Study Program, Jember Islamic University conduct self-development training activities in collaboration with Center for the Development and Empowerment of Mathematics Educators and Education Personnel (P4TK-M)

AVUI: Designing a toolkit for audiovisual interfaces

The combined use of sound and image has a rich history, from audiovisual artworks to research exploring the potential of data visualization and sonification. However, we lack standard tools or guidelines for audiovisual (AV) interaction design, particularly for live performance. We propose the AVUI (AudioVisual User Interface), where sound and image are used together in a cohesive way in the interface; and an enabling technology, the ofxAVUI toolkit. AVUI guidelines and ofxAVUI were developed in a three-stage process, together with AV producers: 1) participatory design activities; 2) prototype development; 3) encapsulation of prototype as a plug-in, evaluation, and roll out. Best practices identified include: reconfigurable interfaces and mappings; object-oriented packaging of AV and UI; diverse sound visualization; flexible media manipulation and management. The toolkit and a mobile app developed using it have been released as open-source. Guidelines and toolkit demonstrate the potential of AVUI and offer designers a convenient framework for AV interaction design
