    Validity Canva Video Media Integrated Thematic Learning Based On PBL Models In Elementary Schools

    Canva is an online application that is used in the creation of learning media. The purpose of this study is to develop Canva Video media on integrated thematic learning based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in grade IV of a valid elementary school. The type of research carried out is Research ang Development (R&D) with a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was conducted in elementary schools by collecting data techniques using questionnaires from material experts, linguists, and media experts. The test subjects in this study were 32 grade IV students of SDN 19 Ambacang Anggang and SDN 11 Tanjung Alai. The results of the Canva Video Media development research developed obtained material validity test results of 91.6%, language validity test results of 87.5%, and media validity test results of 100%. Thus it can be concluded that Canva Video Media on integrated thematic learning in grade IV Elementary School has been validly used

    EFL PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS’ PERCEPTION IN MANAGING THE LEARNING PROCESS DURING KAMPUS MENGAJAR PROGRAM

    Kampus Mengajar program as one of Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programs initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020 is one of the programs that increase the professionalism of students as prospective teachers in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to determine the Perception of EFL Pre-service Teachers in Managing the Learning Process during Kampus Mengajar Program. By using a qualitative descriptive design, six pre-service teachers of the English education study program at the Muhammadiyah University of Kendari were interviewed as alumni of Kampus Mengajar program batch I. The results of this study indicate that participants have a positive perception of Kampus Mengajar program to improve their competence as pre-service EFL teachers. However, in the results of the study, there were also many obstacles faced by participants such as difficulties in designing learning caused by differences between basic education taken during lectures and subjects taught during teaching, difficulties in classroom management, and also difficulties in communication caused by differences culture. Despite that, Kampus Mengajar program is highly recommended to be implemented in teacher education by students and should be encouraged by universities

    The aim of this research is to find out if there is an increase in communication and collaboration skills in learning using the STEAM approach based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) for fifth grade elementary school students. The method used is field research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that learning using the STEM-based project-based learning approach can improve students' soft skills, especially in the communication and collaboration skills of fifth grade elementary school students. STEAM is a new knowledge that is rarely used by teachers in learning. PjBL-based STEAM can develop students' communication and collaboration skills to adapt to 21st Century developments. MIM Patikraja, Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency is one of the madrasas that implements PjBL-based STEAM learning in teaching and learning activities that have a positive impact.     Primary children’s understanding and relationship with cartoon characters : a multimodal praxis-based research experience

    This paper presents the research outcomes of a two-year research venture conducted by Attard (2019) which links theory to classroom-based praxis. In brief, the first part of the paper presents a sound theoretical grounding based on international literature about primary school children’s understanding and relationship with cartoon characters. Later, based on the critical theoretical literature review presented in the first part, the paper links the outcomes to two levels of praxis. Initially, it presents how nine / ten-year-old children attending Maltese primary schools understand and relate to cartoon characters based on their everyday cartoon watching experiences. Then, based on an original multimodal framework (Cremona, 2017), as a main conclusion, a set of practical multimodal suggestions are proposed. These suggestions are intended to be used by educators, parents or guardians with primary school children.peer-reviewe

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengembangan modul pembelajaran tematik integratif melalui media mobile learning berbasis android. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluations) yang dikembangkan oleh Dick and Carry. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengembangan media pembelajaran E-modul berbasis android tema 8 “Bangga Terhadap Daerah Tempat Tinggalku” kelas IV MI Asas Islam Kalibening kecamatan Tingkir Kabupaten Semarang dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah : 1. Kebutuhan terhadap bahan ajar, 2. Perancangan desain dan tahap kontruksi media, 3. Pengujian Modul, 4. Perbaikan produk. Berdasarkan kriteria Uji Paired Sample Test bahwa nilai t hitung > t tabel sebesar (5,279>2,048) dan P value Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 yakni sebesar 0,000. maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar pada data pembelajaran sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan media E-modul berbasis android tema 8 “Bangga Terhadap Daerah Tempat Tinggalku” pada kelas IV MI Asas Islam Kalibening Kabupaten Semarang
