A survey on fuzzy fractional differential and optimal control nonlocal evolution equations
We survey some representative results on fuzzy fractional differential
equations, controllability, approximate controllability, optimal control, and
optimal feedback control for several different kinds of fractional evolution
equations. Optimality and relaxation of multiple control problems, described by
nonlinear fractional differential equations with nonlocal control conditions in

Universality in Systems with Power-Law Memory and Fractional Dynamics
There are a few different ways to extend regular nonlinear dynamical systems
by introducing power-law memory or considering fractional
differential/difference equations instead of integer ones. This extension
allows the introduction of families of nonlinear dynamical systems converging
to regular systems in the case of an integer power-law memory or an integer
order of derivatives/differences. The examples considered in this review
include the logistic family of maps (converging in the case of the first order
difference to the regular logistic map), the universal family of maps, and the
standard family of maps (the latter two converging, in the case of the second
difference, to the regular universal and standard maps). Correspondingly, the
phenomenon of transition to chaos through a period doubling cascade of
bifurcations in regular nonlinear systems, known as "universality", can be
extended to fractional maps, which are maps with power-/asymptotically
power-law memory. The new features of universality, including cascades of
bifurcations on single trajectories, which appear in fractional (with memory)

Finite-time stability results for fractional damped dynamical systems with time delays
This paper is explored with the stability procedure for linear nonautonomous multiterm fractional damped systems involving time delay. Finite-time stability (FTS) criteria have been developed based on the extended form of Gronwall inequality. Also, the result is deduced to a linear autonomous case. Two examples of applications of stability analysis in numerical formulation are described showing the expertise of theoretical prediction
Stability of fractional order systems
The theory and applications of fractional calculus (FC) had a considerable progress during the last years. Dynamical systems and control are one of the most active areas, and several authors focused on the stability of fractional order systems. Nevertheless, due to the multitude of efforts in a short period of time, contributions are scattered along the literature, and it becomes difficult for researchers to have a complete and systematic picture of the present day knowledge. This paper is an attempt to overcome this situation by reviewing the state of the art and putting this topic in a systematic form. While the problem is formulated with rigour, from the mathematical point of view, the exposition intends to be easy to read by the applied researchers. Different types of systems are considered, namely, linear/nonlinear, positive, with delay, distributed, and continuous/discrete. Several possible routes of future progress that emerge are also tackled
Optimizing target nodes selection for the control energy of directed complex networks
The energy needed in controlling a complex network is a problem of practical
importance. Recent works have focused on the reduction of control energy either
via strategic placement of driver nodes, or by decreasing the cardinality of
nodes to be controlled. However, optimizing control energy with respect to
target nodes selection has yet been considered. In this work, we propose an
iterative method based on Stiefel manifold optimization of selectable target
node matrix to reduce control energy. We derive the matrix derivative gradient
needed for the search algorithm in a general way, and search for target nodes
which result in reduced control energy, assuming that driver nodes placement is
fixed. Our findings reveal that the control energy is optimal when the path
distances from driver nodes to target nodes are minimized. We corroborate our
algorithm with extensive simulations on elementary network topologies, random
and scale-free networks, as well as various real networks. The simulation
results show that the control energy found using our algorithm outperforms
heuristic selection strategies for choosing target nodes by a few orders of
magnitude. Our work may be applicable to opinion networks, where one is
interested in identifying the optimal group of individuals that the driver
nodes can influence
