Tone-independent orthogonalizing lattice per tone equalizer (TOL-PTEQ) is introduced and its convergence is analyzed. Cyclic-prefix redundancy, one of the major drawbacks of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), can be reduced by TOL-PTEQ.
