This study aims to investigate the use of ICT in Undergraduate levels at Jordanian Universities. Sixteen Jordanian universities (public and private) have been investigated in this matter. Qualitative method has been used to collect data; these methods include semi-structured interviews of 44 lecturers. Results of the study indicate positive attitudes and high levels of ICT use in teaching and learning. The results also revealed a medium effect of factors affect ICT use in teaching and learning. Lecturers believe that ICT use saves time and efforts and helps them gaining new knowledge and skills, while they believe that the lack of technological infrastructure, lack of support, lack of training and lack of financial resources are the most important factors that have huge impact on ICT in teaching and learning. It was concluded that it is important to overcome the negative factors by adopting clear vision about ICT integration based on the current situation and the desired one, and to adopting flexible plans that respond to social, cultural, and economic changes. This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of lecturers’ attitudes towards, and use of, ICT for teaching at Jordanian public universities. Four Jordanian public universities have been investigated in this matter. Quantitative data have been used to collect data, as attitude surveys of 448 lecturers have been conducted. Results of the study indicate positive attitudes and high levels of ICT use in teaching and learning. The results also revealed a medium effect of factors affect ICT use in teaching and learning. Moi University 3rd International Conference to be held between 31st July and 4th August 2007 Theme : Technology for sustainable socio-economic developmentIt is becoming increasingly apparent that academic libraries will no longer be able to meet information needs of their users using the traditional library services due to diminishing government funding, increased number of academic programs and the ever increasing number of users. Yet the demand for information appears undiminished. The Internet is an untapped channel that libraries can use to supplement already existing library services. The study explored Internet awareness, frequency and reasons of use and perception of the users towards traditional library services as compared to the Internet so as to set a platform for establishing future trends in library services. A modified model (D’Elia and Rodger, 2000) was used based on the Chepkoilel campus community use of the library and use of the Internet. They defined the segments of this market as follows: Segment 1) People who use the library but do not use the Internet; Segment 2) People who use the library, and Internet; Segment 3) People who do not use the library, and do not use the Internet; Segment 4) People who do not use the library but use the Internet. The survey was conducted through the use of self administered questionnaires. The results indicates that there is need to develop appropriate and complementary services in the library that will incorporate traditional library services and emerging services that have been made possible by the rapid new developments in ICT. Training is suggested as an appropriate means of enabling library staff to run and manage a digital library and also assist and teach students and staff on how to efficiently and effectively use the internet. But widespread usage of this powerful information resource depends not only on the innovativeness of the library but more on the efforts made by the university management to promote its access, advantages and ease of use.It is becoming increasingly apparent that academic libraries will no longer be able to meet information needs of their users using the traditional library services due to diminishing government funding, increased number of academic programs and the ever increasing number of users. The paragraphs validity and reliability were established, then the questionnaire was distributed to the study sample that consisted of (360) teachers in Jordanian government schools. The results of the study showed that the extent of mobile learning employment in the educational process from the perspective of Jordanian government school teachers appeared with a low degree, with an arithmetic mean of (1.79). The results further showed a statistically significant difference in the evaluations of the study sample individuals for the authenticity of employing mobile learning in the educational process according to the perspective of Jordanian government school teachers according to the gender and attributed to the males, and on all dimensions, in addition to the presence of statistically significant differences according to the educational qualification and attributed to higher studies, at the macro level of the tool and on the cognition and skill domains. In light of the study results, the researcher recommended that the Ministry of Education should offer more specialized training courses and workshops in the field of teaching technology and mobile learning and recommend teachers to apply them in the educational process. Numerous nations depend heavily on taxation as their principal source of income, and tax evasion is a big issue for their tax agencies and governments. Studies on information technology and tax evasion in underdeveloped nations and other parts of the globe are few and far between. The purpose of this research was to investigate the link between information technology and the reduction of tax evasion. A mediator variable in the relationship between information technology and tax evasion was also explored in this research, which was called Innovation. The research employed a survey approach, sending questionnaires to 200 auditors at Jordanian listed companies. A total of 121 questionnaires were gathered from auditors working in Jordanian companies and evaluated using Partial Least Squares methods (PLS). The findings revealed that information technology (both in terms of system quality and user quality) may help to prevent tax evasion. The role of innovation as a mediator has been shown to have a favorable and substantial association between information technology and the reduction of tax evasion. These findings underlined the Jordanian companys increased reliance on information technology in order to carry out tax obligations, which would aid them in their efforts to prevent tax evasion. This research serves as a guideline for tax administrations as they implement improvements in sustainable IT to streamline tax administration while also improving taxpayer services & increasing law enforcement effectiveness

This study is based on the evaluation of digital libraries of government universities in Jordan and it followed the descriptive and analytical approach based on the Kano model in assessing the requirements for the integration of digital libraries, which is called the "Home Model". The University of Jordan library was used as a case study and then circulated to other public universities for optimal use of digital libraries. A combination of two global models was used to set the Quality Function Deployment criteria. The Kano model as a useful tool for evaluating the quality of services provided by institutions without any consideration for their type. Data was collected to feed the quality of the publishing job-Kanoo model through a questionnaire that was distributed to a sample of users at the University of Jordan to assess the extent to which the services required from the digital libraries were achieved. Because this type of studies relies on listening to the voice of the user (Voice of User), which is the main goal and goal in providing services by institutions, especially libraries, and through this, valuable and relevant information on issues that should be improved In order to increase the users' satisfaction and complementarity in meeting their needs.
