The aim of this paper is to discuss the unexploited forces of user-orientation and shared responsibility to promote sustainable value co-creation during service innovation projects in welfare service ecosystems. The framework is based on the theoretical field of public service logic (PSL) and our thesis is that service innovation seriously requires a user-oriented approach, and that such an approach enables resource integration based on the service-user’s needs and lifeworld. In our findings, we identify prerequisites and opportunities of collaborative service innovation projects in order to transform these projects into sustainable resource integration once they have ended

The purpose of this paper is to determine whether the utilization of social media (Facebook) is an important factor in increasing the visibility of the library site usage in Malaysian public universities. Nine top ranked Malaysian public universities involved in this research and number of Facebook followers for each library website is listed. Alexa software was used as the approach to study the issue of visibility. Alexa is able to determine web site usage, by showing the percentage of visitors of library related subdomain(s) as listed in the top subdomains for each University website (domain) over a month. It is found that Universiti Utara Malaysia library website scored the highest percentage of visitors based on the library related subdomain(s) as listed in the top subdomains for the University website in Alexa. To check such irregularities in access, this paper use EvalAccess 2.0 and it is found that Universiti Sains Malaysia’s library website scored higher irregularities. In term of number of Facebook followers, Univesity of Malaya library has the highest score. It is showed that the utilization of social media (Facebook) is not yet an important factor in increasing the visibility of the library websites. However, expectedly, top ranked universities’ library web sites, are more visible and popular. This research is limited to the situation in Malaysia where public universities are more noticeable and seldom face financial constraints rather than private universities. It is highly important for those universities’ library web sites that are not highly visible to initiate the necessary measures in improving the development of their web sites as the usage of the website is an indicator of online quality

[[abstract]]The job accommodation, the redesign of a job or the creation of new vacancies for optimizing the utilization of manpower through job analysis, has become an important concept during the past decades. Effective job accommodation strategies can assist the people with disabilities in general, and hearing impaired people, who accounted for a majority of the disabilities in the labor market, in special, to expand their capability set and maximize their work performance. However, very few researches have been developed on how the job accommodation strategies can be defined. Furthermore, most available job accommodation strategies as well as assistive technologies were based on researches being developed one decade ago, which are not feasible and should be updated for modern industries. Thus, a fuzzy DEMATEL based MCDM framework will be introduced for deriving suitable accommodation strategies. An empirical study based on the operators from the electronic industry advanced and verified both available job accommodation strategies as well as job accommodation research methods. In the future, the proposed strategies as well as the research framework can be used to enhance the welfare of the disabilities.
