The models of learning software access in the cloud based educational environment

У сучасному інформаційно-освітньому середовищі виникають нові моделі організації навчальної діяльності, що ґрунтуються на інноваційних технологічних рішеннях щодо організації інфраструктури середовища, до числа яких належать хмаро орієнтовані. Питання налаштування інформаційно-технологічної інфраструктури навчального закладу на потреби користувачів, організація засобів і сервісів цього середовища таким чином, щоб можна було максимальною мірою використати педагогічний потенціал сучасних ІКТ, досягнути підвищення рівня результатів навчання, а також поліпшення організації процесів науково-педагогічної діяльності, передбачають обґрунтування шляхів організації доступу до програмного забезпечення та електронних освітніх ресурсів. У статті визначено понятійний апарат дослідження, розглянуто існуючі підходи, моделі формування хмаро орієнтованого середовища, їх переваги і недоліки, наявний досвід використання. Розглянуто моделі архітектури середовища, визначено особливості їх педагогічного застосування. Обґрунтовано гібридну сервісну модель організації доступу до програмного забезпечення навчального призначення. Метою дослідження є аналіз сучасних підходів щодо формування хмаро орієнтованого освітнього середовища навчального закладу на базі різних типів сервісних моделей; обґрунтування гібридної сервісної моделі організації доступу до програмного забезпечення навчального призначення. Об’єкт дослідження: процес формування хмаро орієнтованого освітнього середовища у вищому навчальному закладі. Предмет дослідження: моделі організації доступу до програмного забезпечення навчального призначення у хмаро орієнтованому середовищі.In the modern information-educational environment there are new models of learning activity based on innovative technological solutions for the organization of the environment infrastructure , which include the cloud-oriented solutions. The problems of the institution information technological infrastructure setup for the needs of users, the organization of tools and services of that environment so as to allow maximum pedagogical advantage of modern ICT to achieve improvement of learning outcomes and the processes of scientific and educational activities organization, require justification of the ways to provide access to software and electronic educational resources. The article outlines the conceptual framework of the study and review existing approaches, tools, model of a cloud-based environment, their advantages and disadvantages, experience of use. The models of environment architecture, the peculiarities of its pedagogical application are exposed. The hybrid service model of access to software for educational purposes is grounded. Гібридна сервісна модель організації доступу до електронних ресурсів у хмаро орієнтованому навчальному середовищі

Nowadays, the search for innovative technological solutions to the organization of access to electronic learning resources in the university and their configuration within the environment to fit the needs of users and to improve learning outcomes has become key issues. These solutions are based on the emerging tools among which cloud computing and ICT outsourcing have become very promising and important trends in research. The problems of providing access to electronic learning resources on the basis of cloud computing are the focus of the article. The article outlines the conceptual framework of the study by reviewing existing approaches and models for the cloud-based learning environment’s architecture and design, including its advantages and disadvantages, and the features of its pedagogical application and the experience of it. The hybrid service model of access to learning resources within the university environment is described and proved. An empirical estimation of the proposed approach and current developments in its implementation are provided.Нині питання пошуку інноваційних технологічних рішень щодо організації доступу до електронних освітніх ресурсів і їх конфігурації в середовищі університету з метою більш повного задоволення потреб користувачів і поліпшення результатів навчання постають ключовими. Ці рішення засновані на новітніх засобах, серед яких – технології хмарних обчислень та механізм ІКТ аутсорсингу, що постають перспективним предметом досліджень. Проблеми забезпечення доступу до електронних освітніх ресурсів на основі засобів хмарних обчислень знаходяться в центрі уваги статті. У статті висвітлено концептуальні основи дослідження і проведено огляд існуючих підходів і моделей архітектури та дизайну хмаро орієнтованого середовища навчання, розглянуто їх переваги і недоліки, особливості і педагогічний досвід їх застосування. Обґрунтовано гібридну сервісну модель організації доступу до навчальних ресурсів у середовищі університету. Здійснено емпіричну оцінку пропонованого підходу та досвіду його використання

Service Oriented Toolkit for Research Data Management Final Report

The Service Oriented Toolkit for Research Data Management project was co-funded by the JISC Managing Research Data Programme 2011-2013 and The University of Hertfordshire. The project focused on the realisation of practical benefits for operationalising an institutional approach to good practice in RDM. The objectives of the project were to audit current best practice, develop technology demonstrators with the assistance of leading UH research groups, and then reflect these developments back into the wider internal and external research community via a toolkit of services and guidance. The overall aim was to contribute to the efficacy and quality of research data plans, and establish and cement good data management practice in line with local and national policy
