    Study on the influence mechanism and level measurement of agricultural green development—A case study of China

    Taking China as an example, this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of agricultural green development and constructs a measurement system of agricultural green development level. The system includes seven subsystems (ensuring food security, optimizing agricultural structure, improving market mechanism, innovation-driven development, building ecological civilization, inheriting traditional culture, and benefiting the people) and 55 measurement indicators. Empirical research was carried out using entropy method and gray correlation to measure the level of green development of China's agriculture, analyze its spatial distribution law, and divide it into three levels according to the development level, then analyze the regional characteristics of each grade. The research shows that the overall level of agricultural green development in China is relatively low, and the constraints are obvious. It is easy to ignore the value of agricultural green development, and the phenomenon of non-green development still exists. Therefore, we must attach great importance to the green development of agriculture, change agricultural production from the pursuit of quantity to the pursuit of quality in the past, formulate an effective path to promote the comprehensive level of agricultural green development in the whole ecological chain, and build a collaborative research institution and information monitoring platform for agricultural green development

    Consumer experience and satisfaction of private health management service enterprises in China

    The private health management service industry in China still has a long way to enjoy the same maturity and success as the Chinese public healthcare enterprises. Carrying out research about private health management service company in China has both theoretical and practical values. Through the methods of literature research, this thesis studies on the development, characteristics and situation of private health management service industry in China, as well as relevant literature review on health management. In China, most medical institutions provide related health management services, among which the physical examination is the most important item. Both strengths and weaknesses of public and private health management service enterprises are summarized through SWOT analysis. The research method of content analysis is brought into the study of consumer experience and satisfaction about physical examination services in China. Taking Meinian Onehealth Healthcare Holdings Co., Ltd. as an example, the main factors define customer experience and determine their satisfaction and dissatisfaction is researched through content analysis of online reviews from websites by ROST-CM software, and both the positive and negative reviews are analyzed respectively from the aspects of word frequency and semantic network. The main factors influencing customer satisfaction are divided into six themes: service, technology, environment, price, procedure and consultation. In service, the service attitude of doctors and staff is the most important factor for customers. In the theme of technology, the advanced level of examination equipment and the professional level of medical staff, as perceived performance, are more important factors affecting the consumer satisfaction. In the theme of procedure, optimizing physical examination procedure and shortening waiting time are important factors to improve customer satisfaction. In the theme of consultation, strengthening health education and keeping track of customers' health situation are also important factors to improve satisfaction.Based on the results of analysis, five effective marketing strategies in the health management industry is put forward, mainly including service quality strategy, brand strategy, competing strategy, customer relationship strategy and price strategy.A fim de alcançar a maturidade e sucesso da saúde pública, ainda há um longo caminho a percorrer pela indústria de serviços de gestão de saúde privados na China. Por isso, existe valor teórico e prático para a realização de investigação em empresas privadas de serviços de gestão de saúde na China. Este trabalho introduz sistematicamente o desenvolvimento, as características e o estado actual da indústria de serviços de gestão de saúde da China por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas e darevisão de literatura sobre gestão de saúde. O trabalho compara as forças e fraquezas das organizações de serviços de gestão de saúde privadas e públicas. Neste trabalho, o método de pesquisa de análise de conteúdo é introduzido no estudo da experiência e satisfação do consumidor com os serviços privados de gestão de saúde na China. Como caso de estudo foi usado o Meinian Onehealth Healthcare Holdings Co., Ltd. Com recurso ao software ROST-CM, foi efetuada a análise de conteúdo dos comentários online, e identificados os principais factores que influenciaram a experiência do cliente. A análise de elogios e críticas negativas foi realizada em termos de frequência de palavras e rede semântica. Os principais factores que afectam a satisfação de cliente são divididos em seis temas: serviço, tecnologia, ambiente, preço, processo e literacia. Ao servir clientes, a atitude de médicos e funcionários é particularmente importante para a satisfação de clientes. Em termos de tecnologia, o equipamento de exame médico avançado e o nível profissional de equipa médica são benefícios perceptíveis do exame médico e factores importantes de satisfação de consumidor. O ambiente do centro de exames médicos não causa tanto impacto como o serviço e a tecnologia. Em termos de preço, consumidores costumam usar "acessível" ou "caro" para expressar sua avaliação subjectiva do número de itens e o valor de serviços recebidos em um exame médico. Em termos de processo, optimizar o processo de exame médico e reduzir o tempo das filas de espera são factores importantes para a satisfação deexame médico. Em termos de literacia, fortalecer a educação em saúde e acompanhar a saúde de clientes também são factores importantes para a satisfação com o exame médico. Tendo por base os resultados obtidos, são propostas cinco estratégias de marketing eficazes adaptadas às empresas de serviços de gestão de saúde, designadamente estratégias de promoção de serviços, estratégias de promoção de marca, estratégias de concorrência, estratégias de relacionamento com clientes e estratégias de preço

    The influence of patient absorptive capacity and perception of technology characteristics on patients' satisfaction with medical services in Guangzhou, China: an affordance theory based approach

    Background: Based on the theory of Affordance, this thesis proposes two analytical dimensions of Subjective Affordance (SA) and Behavioral Affordance (BA).The research aims to explore the influence of patients’ Absorptive Capacity (AC) and Technology Characteristics Perception (TCP) on their SA and BA of the WeChat client-side app in community hospitals so as to further evaluate the SA and BA influence on patients’ satisfaction of medical service (PS). Research subjects are patients who have used the community hospital WeChat client-side information platform in 28 community health service centers in nine districts of Guangzhou in the South of China. A questionnaire with 4 sections and 44 questions was designed and distributed. The effective questionnaire data were checked for descriptive analysis and a path model with 5 observed variables (AC,TCP, SA,BA,PS). was developed. Results: 1. A total of 410 questionnaires was distributed, of which 400 have been collected and 387 of them were valid and analyzed. 2. There is a significant difference among variable scores of patients with different ages and educational background. 3. The group of patients who use the information platform more actively have higher scores in the 5 variables. 4. TCP has a direct influence on PS while BA plays an intermediary role. It was found that the mediation effect of SA is not valid. 5. AC has no direct or indirect influence on PS. Conclusions: Age, educational background, and TCP (evaluation of the innovation characteristics of technology) play an important role in the final implementation of technology application behavior (BA), and the effective application of technology can indeed improve satisfaction with the medical services (PS)Tendo por base a teoria da Affordance, esta tese analisa duas dimensões desta teoria: a Affordance subjetiva (AS) e a Affordance comportamental (AC). A investigação tem por objetivo estudar a influência da Capacidade de Absorção (CA) e da Percepção das Características Tecnológicas (PCT) na AS e na AC dos pacientes estudados em relação à utilização da aplicação Wechat como plataforma de informação e fornecimento de serviços em Centros de Saúde, a fim de avaliar em que medida a AS e a AC influenciam a sua satisfação com os serviços médicos (SP). Os sujeitos do estudo são pacientes que utilizaram a aplicação WeChat na sua interação com Centros de Saúde. Foi administrado um questionário contendo quatro partes e um total de 44 questões em 28 destes centros localizados em 9 distritos da cidade de Cantão no sul da China. Os dados foram depois analisados tendo sido concebido um modelo com base nas 5 variáveis observadas (AS, AC, CA, PCT e PS). Resultados: 1. Dos 410 questionários distribuídos recolheram-se 400 dos quais 387 foram considerados válidos para análise; 2. Os resultados revelaram que existe uma diferença significativa entre os pacientes de diferentes idades e diferente formação académica; 3. O grupo de pacientes que mais utiliza a aplicação tem valores mais altos nas cinco variáveis analisadas; 4. A PCT tem uma influência direta na SP enquanto que a CA desempenha um papel mediador. Os resultados demonstraram ainda que o efeito moderador da AS não se verifica; 5. A AC não tem qualquer influência direta ou indireta na SP. Conclusões: A idade, a formação académica e a PCT (percepção das características inovadoras da tecnologia) desempenham um papel importante na Affordance Comportamental (AC) e a utilização efetiva da tecnologia pode contribuir para melhorar a satisfação dos pacientes com os serviços médicos (SP)

    Determination of Time Dependent Stress Distribution on Potato Tubers at Mechanical Collision

    This study focuses on determining internal stress progression and the realistic representation of time dependent deformation behaviour of potato tubers under a sample mechanical collision case. A reverse engineering approach, physical material tests and finite element method (FEM)-based explicit dynamics simulations were utilised to investigate the collision based deformation characteristics of the potato tubers. Useful numerical data and deformation visuals were obtained from the simulation results. The numerical results are presented in a format that can be used for the determination of bruise susceptibility magnitude on solid-like agricultural products. The modulus of elasticity was calculated from experimental data as 3.12 [MPa] and simulation results showed that the maximum equivalent stress was 1.40 [MPa] and 3.13 [MPa] on the impacting and impacted tubers respectively. These stress values indicate that bruising is likely on the tubers. This study contributes to further research on the usage of numerical-methods-based nonlinear explicit dynamics simulation techniques in complicated deformation and bruising investigations and industrial applications related to solid-like agricultural products

    Sustainable Freight Village Concepts for Agricultural Products Logistics - A Knowledge Management-oriented Study

    Freight villages (FVs) are logistics phenomenon with broad economic, environmental, and social consequences. This research extends sustainability in the context of FVs to twofold meanings. This includes the sustainable development of FVs, and the sustainability contributions they created. China has showed a more recent but quicker story in developing FVs. Nevertheless, a number of problems and limits exist. Taking China as research background, this research consists of theoretical explorations, status quo analysis, and practical applications in agricultural products logistics (APL). This research proposes that knowledge management (KM) is the most desirable option to reach sustainable values of FVs. The status quo analysis examines the adaption of FVs to China s current logistics situation. It identifies several orientations for the next development step of FVs. To cope with the pervasive problems during FV planning stage, this research adopts sense-making KM approach to guide a systematic planning process including sense making, knowledge creation, and decision making. In order to achieve a high sustainability rating, this research uses KM cycle model to generate synergies among major stakeholders of FVs. Moreover, it proposes a roadmap for organizing KM process so as to build sustainability capability. Three key elements for the roadmap are identified: human ability, stakeholder engagement, and information system. This research focuses on the application of sustainable FV concepts for agricultural products logistics (APL). It deals with issues affecting city logistics and agricultural products (agri-products) supply in China. This can make best use of FV functions from a sustainability perspective. Agri-FV is proposed to bring professional logistics facilities and services, efficient distribution of agri-products, and information-based operations. An integrated APL system is structured consisting of farmers cooperatives, chain stores, and agri-FVs. In this system, agri-FV plays an important role in levering sustainability outcomes.
