    A Systematic Review on Marketing Strategies of China’s Import Cross-border E-commerce B2C Platforms

    With the continuous progress of Internet information technology and the further strengthening of Internet popularity in China, the evolving circumstance of its cross-border e-commerce platforms is presently fully operating. In particular, the B2C platforms for import cross-border e-commerce are developing rapidly. This article first provides a brief introduction to the development status of China's import cross-border e-commerce. It then reviews and synthesizes relevant literature about imported cross-border e-commerce. Based on the collation of literature, this article analyses existing marketing strategies of B2C platforms within the import cross-border e-commerce industry and comprehends the relevant marketing problems generated by these platform providers via two identified case analyses. Finally, combined with the current status of international trade procedures and cross-border e-commerce development trends, the corresponding marketing strategy improvement is proposed

    Cross-border e-commerce refers to international commercial activities in which different customs trading entities conduct transactions through e-commerce platforms, conduct electronic payment and settlement, and complete the delivery of goods through cross-border logistics and transactions. Cross-border e-commerce is the extension and expansion of e-commerce. In recent years, its scale has been constantly expanding, and it has become a new trend and an important part of the transformation and development of international trade. As an important product of China’s foreign exports, aquatic products rank the first among all agricultural products exported in China, accounting for nearly one third, and are an important growth point of China’s foreign trade. Starting from the perspective of export enterprises of cross-border e-commerce of aquatic products and combining the bottleneck problems encountered in the development of cross-border e-commerce of aquatic products as a starting point, this paper analyzes the current situation of the development of cross-border e-commerce of aquatic products in China through the results of a questionnaire survey, and discusses the influencing factors that affect the sales of aquatic products enterprises. Finally, based on the above results and the aquatic product industry in which the target cross-border e-commerce enterprises are located, relevant strategies for the further development of cross-border e-commerce enterprises in this industry will be proposed

Cross-border e-commerce has become the mainstream of development in the current economic era. In the process of cross-border e-commerce development, logistics plays an important role. The success or failure of small and medium-sized enterprises also depends on the efficiency and quality of logistics to a great extent. If some cross-border e-commerce enterprises want to get a place in the current fierce market competition, they must choose appropriate logistics channels to effectively promote their own development. This study explores the typical application mode of Blockchain technology in the field of cross-border logistics, and proposes specific implementation path to improve the performance of cross-border logistics management. This study combines the selection of cross-border logistics drive of small and medium-sized enterprises, analyzes the structural framework, core technology and main advantages of Blockchain, and then analyzes the combination of Blockchain technology advantages and cross-border logistics management needs. On this basis, the application mode of Blockchain technology in cross-border supply chain logistics is proposed; the application mode of Blockchain technology in cross-border trade logistics is proposed with information, documents and containers as typical objects; the application mode of Blockchain technology in cross-border customs clearance is proposed with customs declaration as typical carrier.     This study is completed to discover the current condition of cross-border e-commerce in ASEAN and China, following with the supporting factors and obstacles of cross-border ecommerce development. The study concluded that the condit ion of China and ASEAN’s ecommerce is in the developing stages, indicated by the gross merchandise value and many businesses started to launch e-commerce and join the competition with their own comparative advantages. Among e-commerce in ASEAN,the most outstanding e-commerce are Shopee,Lazada,and Tokopedia while in China are Tmall Global, Kaola, and JD Global.These e-commerce sites, except Tokopedia,offer an online place for both foreign and local traders to do transactions crossing the border.The cross-border e-commerce development is supported by the internet access, network coverage,logistics and infrastructure,and electronic money.Besides,as the government started to pay more attention to cross-border ecommerce,the agreements are made to enhance the development and cooperation with intraASEAN parties called ASEAN E-Commerce Agreement.This agreement facilitates the intraASEAN trader with lower shipping cost,shorter delivery time,and reliability of supply chains.Thus,it will increase the interest of ASEAN citizens in buying goods from their neighboring country through e-commerce and the micro,small,and medium enterprises as ASEAN’s main economic players can easily expand their markets.The benefit also will be gained by ASEAN MSMEs by the practice of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between ASEAN and Australia,China,Japan,New Zealand and Republic of Korea.The MSMEs will be supported by the developed countries to enter crossborder e-commerce and its competition.In return, the developed countries can enter the ASEAN’s market which has potential to grow bigger in the future.The obstacles during crossborder e-commerce development are extra cost and taxes,currency,uneven development of logistics and infrastructure,language barriers,and halal certification

Managers need to monitor past information and current actual information to generate trends of future development based on it. Managers always should define strictly what do they want to know, how do they want to see it and for what purpose do they want to use it. Only in this case they can get right information applicable to efficient decision-making. Generally, managers´ decisions should lead to make the customers´ decision-making process easier. More frequently than ever, companies use e-commerce systems for the support of their business activities. In connection with the present state and future development, cross-border online shopping growth can be expected. To support this, companies will need much better systems providing the managers adequate and sufficient information. This type of information, which is usually multidimensional, can be provided by the Business Intelligence (BI) technologies. Besides special BI systems, some of BI technologies are obtained in quite a few of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. One of the crucial questions is whether should companies and firms buy or develop special BI software, or whether they can use BI tools contained in some ERP systems. In respect of this, there is a question if the modern ERP systems can provide the managers sufficient possibilities relating to ad-hoc reporting, static and dynamic reports and OLAP analyses.
