    [MOODLE BASED DISTANCE TRAINING SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT IN BALAI DIKLAT KEAGAMAAN BANDUNG]. Developing online training system is essential to create equalization over training opportunities, enrich learning materials, and increase trainees participation in learning. The development is also a medium to create accessible learning environment. Online training requires learning management system. One of the most widely used applications is Moodle. It has the latest version that can be used to improve online training’s quality, namely Moodle version 3.7.1. This study aims to find out Moodle-based remote training system implementation at Bandung Religious Training Center in 2020. Research and Development waterfall model is applied. Application testing is by using blackbox techniques. The analysis uses SCORM and Haughey theory. The result showed that Moodle-based remote training is considered good based on black box tests. It can be seen from several aspects of websites, such as appearance and content, implementation, institutional readiness, as well as facilities and infrastructure. Moodle 3.7.1 based remote training websites are recommended for socialization and provided remote training manual instruction

    Website-assisted learning in science learning can make it easier for students to increase their understanding of knowledge concepts and construct their knowledge based on problems encountered in everyday life to improve learning outcomes. One application that is quite well-known and can be used as a website-assisted learning site is the Google Sites site. Google Sites is a structured application that can easily create websites. Google Sites is an online application launched by Google for creating classes, schools, or other websites. This study aims to determine the quality (validity, practicality, and effectiveness) of the Google Sites Assisted Learning Device on Vibration, Waves, and Sound material. This type of development research refers to the 4-D Model development research consisting of four stages of development, namely Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. After being validated by two validators, a limited trial was carried out by 58 students consisting of 29 class VIII-A students and 29 class VIII-B at SMP Negeri 1 Kwandang, then the most comprehensive test was carried out by 30 class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Kwandang. Data collection techniques in this study used expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and student learning outcomes tests. The results of this study indicate that the validation of Google Sites assisted learning devices is included in the “Valid” category. The practicality of Google Sites helped learning devices is seen from the results of the implementation of learning in class and the student's responses from both trials showing the “Good” category. The Google Sites assisted learning device developed meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria to be suitable for use in science learning in schools

    The current recognition and learning system still uses magazines, books and websites. This makes the lessons of the topics taught still difficult to understand. In this study, a fruit recognition learning model was created in early childhood education based on Augmented Reality and digitalized teaching aids. Augmented Reality is a technology that embodies the merging of the real world (reality) and virtual world (virtual) where this technology is also known as Virtual Reality. The marker in the form of an image will be captured by the camera, processed and a 3D fruit animation will appear on the mobile screen. The purpose of this research is to produce a fruit recognition learning model in PAUD TK Aba Sukoharjo Kalasan based on Augmented Reality and to create digitalized teaching aids. By using Augmented Reality the application can be educational and attract interest in children's curiosity. The method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). The fruit recognition application has been applied to several child respondents. Based on research trials, before there was an application for interest in learning, children learned fruit recognition with a score of 73% with the predicate agreeing. The effect of positive trends on children to learn with augmented reality learning media is shown by a score of 81% of 30 child respondents stating that the application is very effective as an increase in the recognition of fruit

Steps design of multimedia applications for learning media computer hardware is done by performing data collection, literature review, analysis and system design followed by implementation and testing of the system. In this research using a black-box test method, where the acknowledgment is made to test the success of the exist functions. The result of the design of this application is a web based interactive applications in the desktop containing material computer hardware and visualized in 3D VRML form of a variety of input devices, output, processing, and storage devices.     Microblogging in higher education: a comparative study

    Microblogging has become an increasingly popular phenomenon in educational context. There is currently little research regarding the educational advantages of microblogging dedicated to teaching and learning. Although educational microblogging provides great learning applications that can support formal learning environment, the advantages of these websites are oftentimes ignored. In order to investigate the largely unexplored benefits of educational microblogging, this research offers an opportunity to investigate the effect of microblogging using Community of Inquiry (CoI) model in a blended learning. The researchers used pre-questionnaire and post-questionnaire for evaluating the level of students' teaching, social and cognitive presence before and after using microblogging based on the CoI model. The questionnaires were distributed in two classes of 107 students in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Through statistical analysis by using t-test analysis, the usage of microblogging is proven to enhance students' cognitive, social and teaching presence. The results of this research offer an insight to the positive impact of the use of microblogging in higher education and its outcomes would open the door to new ways of learning and the nature of cooperative culture and new application tools

    The Analysis of Digital English Dictionary Used by Non-English Major Undergraduate Students

    Dictionary has an important role in the language learning process where the dictionary is used as a learning tool. As a learning tool, dictionary can be used independently because there a lot of features in it such as meaning, pronunciation, types of words, word order and structure. At present, dictionaries available in two versions, they are printed and digital versions which can be in the form of websites or applications. The aim of this research is to find out the use of English digital dictionaries by undergraduate students, especially majoring in non-English language program. Based on the results of interviews with informants and a questionnaire administered to 67 students, this study used a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis. The results of the study found that digital dictionaries are used for language learning, translation and to improve English knowledge. It is strongly suggested to government to give access to the internet since those dictionaries sometimes use network. The developer of the application is also encouraged to make it accessible offline. The research team also suggest for future researcher to find out about the effect of using a digital dictionary on English learning

    The Effect of Immersive Learning on Students' Cognitive and Affective Aspects

    Deep learning or what is known as "Immersive Learning" is becoming an issue that is being studied a lot because of the application of technology in the process. The role of technology in this case is utilized to realize deep learning. Immersive Learning is applied by several methods, including online and blended. However, there are not many research articles that explicitly focus on Immersive Learning. Therefore, for the purpose of this review, several academic articles dealing with the specific topic of immersive learning have been selected and studied. Several topics have been searched using keywords related to immersive learning on academic search engines such as Springer, and Google Scholar, as well as on several other reputable academic journal publishing websites. The articles reviewed were sixteen articles published in the last five years. Based on the results of the article review, it can be concluded that immersive learning not only has a negative impact, but also has a positive impact on students' cognitive and affective aspects. Cognitive aspects include understanding and other academic abilities, while affective aspects include self-efficacy, motivation, and student attitudes towards subjects at school. With this review, it is hoped that teachers and educators will pay more attention to the positive and negative effects of this immersive learning process, so that they can optimize the learning outcomes obtained by students from the learning process, especially Natural Science subjects
