Risks associated with Logistics 4.0 and their minimization using Blockchain
Currently we are saying that we are at the dawn of the fourth revolution, which is marked by using cyber-physical systems and the Internet of Things. This is marked as Industry 4.0 (I4.0). With Industry 4.0 is also closely linked concept Logistics 4.0. The highly dynamic and uncertain logistic markets and huge logistic networks require new methods, products and services. The concept of the Internet of Things and Services (IoT&S), Big Data/Data Mining (DM), cloud computing, 3D printing, Blockchain and cyber physical system (CPS) etc. seem to be the probable technical solution for that. However, associated risks hamper its implementation and lack a comprehensive overview. In response, the paper proposes a framework of risks in the context of Logistics 4.0. They are here economic risks, that are associated e.g. with high or false investments. From a social perspective, risks the job losses, are considered too. Additionally, risks can be associated with technical risks, e.g. technical integration, information technology (IT)-related risks such as data security, and legal and political risks, such as for instance unsolved legal clarity in terms of data possession. It is therefore necessary to know the potential risks in the implementation process.Web of Science101857
A Logistics Information System Model of Agricultural Product Based on Cloud Computing
Cloud computing technology can play an important role in the various links of agricultural products logistics system, and provide strong technical support for the development of logistics management. The system architecture of agricultural product logistics information system based on cloud computing is drawn in the paper, which include the base layer, service layer, interface layer and user layer. From the perspective of the system functions, the agricultural product logistics information system based on cloud computing is designed to contain six subsystems of the planting management subsystem, process management subsystem, storage management subsystem, transportation management subsystem, order processing subsystem, consumer query subsystem. It has the features of with the help of the RFID technology, cloud computing technology and data mining technology. We decompose the index evaluation system of the agricultural product logistics information system into twelve scheme layers, and use the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of the evaluation indexes of each layer

IoT and Fog-Computing-Based Predictive Maintenance Model for Effective Asset Management in Industry 4.0 Using Machine Learning
The assets in Industry 4.0 are categorised into
physical, virtual and human. The innovation and popularisation
of ubiquitous computing enhance the usage of smart devices:
RFID tags, QR codes, LoRa tags, etc. for assets identification and
tracking. The generated data from Industrial Internet of Things
(IIoT) eases information visibility and process automation in
Industry 4.0. Virtual assets include the data produced from IIoT.
One of the applications of the industrial big data is to predict the
failure of manufacturing equipment. Predictive maintenance
enables the business owner to decide such as repairing or replacing
the component before an actual failure which affects the whole
production line. Therefore, Industry 4.0 requires an effective asset
management to optimise the tasks distributions and predictive
maintenance model. This paper presents the Genetic Algorithm
(GA) based resource management integrating with machine
learning for predictive maintenance in fog computing. The time,
cost and energy performance of GA along with MinMin, MaxMin,
FCFS, RoundRobin are simulated in the FogWorkflowsim. The
predictive maintenance model is built in two-class logistic
regression using real-time datasets. The results demonstrate that
the proposed technique outperforms MinMin, MaxMin, FCFS,
RoundRobin in execution time, cost and energy usage. The
execution time is 0.48%faster, 5.43% lower cost and energy usage
is 28.10% lower in comparison with second-best results. The
training and testing accuracy of the prediction model is 95.1% and
94.5%, respectively
Application of IoT Framework for Prediction of Heart Disease using Machine Learning
Prognosis of illnesses is a difficult problem these days throughout the globe. Elder people of twenty years and over are taken into consideration to be laid low with this sickness now a days. For example, human beings having HbA1c level more than 6.5% are diagnosed as infected with diabetic diseases. This paper uses IoT to evaluate threat factors which have been similar to heart diseases which are not treated properly. Diagnosis, prevention of heart disease may be done by use of machine learning (ML). There has been an extensive disconnect among Machine Learning architects, health care researchers, patients and physicians in their technology. This paper intends to perform an in-intensity evaluation on Machine Learning to make us of new advance technologies. Latest advances within the development of IoT implanted devices and other medicine delivery gadgets, disease diagnostic methods and other medical research have considerably helped human beings diagnosed heart diseases. New soft computing models can be helpful for remedy of various heart diseases. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) employs several particularly creative thoughts to get their capsules to the client. Artificial Neural Community offers a first-rate chance to deal with heart diseases with advance IoT and cloud applications
Novel proposal for prediction of CO2 course and occupancy recognition in Intelligent Buildings within IoT
Many direct and indirect methods, processes, and sensors available on the market today are used to monitor the occupancy of selected Intelligent Building (IB) premises and the living activities of IB residents. By recognizing the occupancy of individual spaces in IB, IB can be optimally automated in conjunction with energy savings. This article proposes a novel method of indirect occupancy monitoring using CO2, temperature, and relative humidity measured by means of standard operating measurements using the KNX (Konnex (standard EN 50090, ISO/IEC 14543)) technology to monitor laboratory room occupancy in an intelligent building within the Internet of Things (IoT). The article further describes the design and creation of a Software (SW) tool for ensuring connectivity of the KNX technology and the IoT IBM Watson platform in real-time for storing and visualization of the values measured using a Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol and data storage into a CouchDB type database. As part of the proposed occupancy determination method, the prediction of the course of CO2 concentration from the measured temperature and relative humidity values were performed using mathematical methods of Linear Regression, Neural Networks, and Random Tree (using IBM SPSS Modeler) with an accuracy higher than 90%. To increase the accuracy of the prediction, the application of suppression of additive noise from the CO2 signal predicted by CO2 using the Least mean squares (LMS) algorithm in adaptive filtering (AF) method was used within the newly designed method. In selected experiments, the prediction accuracy with LMS adaptive filtration was better than 95%.Web of Science1223art. no. 454
