Strange Quarkonium States at BESIII
We present physics opportunities and topics with the states
(strangeonia) that can be studied with the BESIII detector operating at the
BEPCII collider. Though the and states have long been
established experimentally, only a handful of strangeonia are well known, in
contrast to the rich charmoium system. An overview of the
states and their experimental status is presented in this paper. The BESIII
experiment has collected the world's largest samples of , ,
, and direct annihilations at energies below the
and above 3.8\,GeV, and will continue to accumulate high quality, large
integrated luminosity in the -charm energy region. These data, combined
with the excellent performance of the BESIII detector, will offer unprecedent
opportunities to explore the system. In this paper we describe the
experimental techniques to explore strangeonia with the BESIII detector.% at

An overview of and decays at BESIII
The world's largest sample of 1.31 billion events accumulated at the
BESIII detector, provides a unique opportunity to investigate and
physics via two body radiative or hadronic decays. For
many decay channels the low background data samples are up to
three orders of magnitude larger than collected in any previous experiment.
Here we review the most significant results on and
obtained at BESIII so far. The analyses range from detailed studies of the
common decays dynamics, observations of new radiative and Dalitz decays, and
search for rare/forbidden decays with sensitivity up to .
Finally, prospects of the forthcoming runs at peak for the and
physics are discussed.Comment: 17pages. 20 figure
Search for charmonium and XYZ states in at BESIII
Within the framework of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics, we study the
production of charmonium states in at BESIII
with (n=1, 2, 3, and 4), (n=1, 2, and 3), and
(n=1 and 2). The radiative and relativistic corrections are
calculated to next-to-leading order for and wave states. We then argue
that the search for states such as , , ,
and in at BESIII may help clarify the nature
of these states. BESIII can search states through two body process
, where decay to , , or
. This result may be useful in identifying the nature of
states. For completeness, the production of charmonium in at B factories is also discussed.Comment: Comments and suggestions are welcome. References are update
Phenomenological and Experimental Developments in Charm Physics: The WG7 Report from CKM 2016
We present an overview of recent developments in charm physics reported in
the Working~Group~7 meetings of the CKM 2016 workshop. Progresses in
experimental analysis and techniques were reported by LHCb, Belle, BABAR and
BESIII along with projections for the future. Developments were also reported
in the phenomenological extraction of both direct and indirect CP violation
from data in two-, three- and four-body hadronic decays of the mesonic
system.Comment: 12 pages. WG7 report for CKM 2016. PoS(CKM2016)02
