The shape of eParticipation: Characterizing an emerging research area

The phenomenon of eParticipation is receiving increasing attention, demonstrated by recent technology implementations, experiments, government reports, and research programs. Understanding such an emerging field is a complex endeavor because there is no generally agreed upon definition of the field, no clear overview of the research disciplines or methods it draws upon, and because the boundaries of the field are undecided. Using conventional literature review techniques, we identify 131 scientific articles considered important for the field's theoretical development. This sample provides the starting point for a grounded analysis leading to the development of an overview model: the field of eParticipation seen from a researcher's perspective. The model provides structure for understanding the emerging shape of the field as well as an initial indication of its content. It also provides the basis for developing research agendas for the future

HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN POLITIK DAN PARTISIPASI SISWA DALAM PEMILIHAN KETUA OSIS STUDI DI SMA NEGERI 3 CIBINONG

Tujuan penelitian ini memperoleh data empiris tentang hubungan pengetahuan politik dan partisipasi siswa dalam pemilihan ketua OSIS periode 2021/2022 di SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 292 siswa dan sampel yang diambil 25% dari total populasi kelas XII sejumlah 73 siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data variabel X atau pengetahuan politik dengan test dan variabel Y atau partisipasi siswa dengan kuisioner yang dibagikan melalui google formulir. Uji prayarat analisis dalam penelitian menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan positif antara pengetahuan politik dengan partisipasi siswa dalam pemilihan ketua OSIS di SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong. Besarnya hasil nilai rhitung 0,676 > rtabel sebesar 0,227. Koefisien determinasi variabel X berkontribusi sebesar 53,4% terhadap variabel Y. ***** The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical data about the relationship between political knowledge and student participation in the election of the OSIS chairman for the 2021/2022 period at SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong. The analytical condition test in this study uses normality test and linearity test. Based on the hypothesis test that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between political knowledge and student participation in the election of the OSIS chairman at SMA Negeri 3 Cibinong. The Use of E Voting in the General Election System in Indonesia

Sebagai bangsa yang menganut konsep demokrasi, Indonesia diharapkan dapat menyelenggarakan pemilihan umum yang jujur dan adil yang sesuai dengan cita-cita langsung, umum, bebas, dan rahasia. Agar hasil pemilihan umum dan kepala daerah dapat menimbulkan kepercayaan semua pihak, keterbukaan dan akuntabilitas harus menjadi acuan dalam kontes ini. Membangun arsitektur jaringan yang memungkinkan pelaksanaan pemilu yang transparan itu sendiri merupakan salah satu aspek yang paling menantang dalam membangun partai demokrasi. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengkaji penggunaan electronic voting di masa depan dalam sistem pemilu Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam upaya meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih, mengurangi dampak kecurangan dalam penghitungan suara, mengurangi biaya, dan mempersingkat waktu pelaksanaan, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan elektronik dapat digunakan sebagai metode alternatif pemilihan umum karena putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi nomor 147/ PUU-VII/2009. Mengingat situasi pemilu 2019 yang banyak memakan korban. Selain berdampak positif, pelaksanaan e-voting juga tidak lepas dari masalah seperti waktu persiapan yang singkat, masalah anggaran, kesiapan sarana dan prasarana seperti ketersediaan internet yang tidak merata dan terakhir kesiapan sumber daya.
