Perencanaan Arsitektur Teknologi Pada PT. X
PT. X has grown to be a company of papermaking which has several division to run enterprise business processes. Nowadays information system that support enterprise business processes have inadequacy due to fully unintegrated. That information system only support accountancy, whereas another business process mostly use non electronic. Based on that reason, therefore company need analysis and information system design which is enterprise architecture planning framework. Furthermore, exploring company business processes need analysis of business model and business strategy. Thereby evaluating the condition of information technology, the problems faced and the need of information technology in the future. As a result, the design of data architecture, application architecture and technology architecture are made. The design of data architecture for company consist of several sub system. Moreover, the major applications from design of applications architecture are human resource information system, sales and marketing information system, logistic information system, manufacture information system, warehouse and quality control information system, purchasing information system, accounting and finance information system. Technology architecture purpose use client/server architecture pattern and service oriented architecture data services
An SLA-based resource virtualization approach for on-demand service provision
Cloud computing is a newly emerged research infrastructure that builds on the latest achievements of diverse research areas, such as Grid computing, Service-oriented computing, business processes and virtualization. In this paper we present an architecture for SLA-based resource virtualization that provides an extensive solution for executing user applications in Clouds. This work represents the first attempt to combine SLA-based resource negotiations with virtualized resources in terms of on-demand service provision resulting in a holistic virtualization approach. The architecture description focuses on three topics: agreement negotiation, service brokering and deployment using virtualization. The contribution is also demonstrated with a real-world case study
Project Management Approach on the Adaptive Enterprise Resource Planning
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation is one of key success factors for business organization\u27s to endorse their business strategy and goal alignment with information technology recent. In spite of its benefits, yet there are many failures in ERP implementation, whereas between 50% to 75% is categorized has failed due to lack of top level management awareness, change of business processes in project implementation, unsuitable architecture, design, and technological infrastructure. The study proposes an Adaptive ERP system that coverage both management and technology areas with the main characteristic are in visibility, flexibility, and agility. The Adaptive ERP is expected becoming as alternative approach to overcome failures in ERP implementation. The Adaptive ERP has standardized business process transitioning from Project Management (PM) into Operational Management (OM) that generally as baseline for conventional ERP. An addition, Adaptive ERP has standardized Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in order to manage interoperability of the application services
Resilience Analysis of Service Oriented Collaboration Process Management systems
Collaborative business process management allows for the automated coordination of processes involving human and computer actors. In modern economies it is increasingly needed for this coordination to be not only within organizations but also to cross organizational boundaries. The dependence on the performance of other organizations should however be limited, and the control over the own processes is required from a competitiveness perspective. The main objective of this work is to propose an evaluation model for measuring a resilience of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) collaborative process management system. In this paper, we have proposed resilience analysis perspectives of SOA collaborative process systems, i.e. overall system perspective, individual process model perspective, individual process instance perspective, service perspective, and resource perspective. A collaborative incident and maintenance notification process system is reviewed for illustrating our resilience analysis. This research contributes to extend SOA collaborative business process management systems with resilience support, not only looking at quantification and identification of resilience factors, but also considering ways of improving the resilience of SOA collaborative process systems through measures at design and run-time
Elastic Business Process Management: State of the Art and Open Challenges for BPM in the Cloud
With the advent of cloud computing, organizations are nowadays able to react
rapidly to changing demands for computational resources. Not only individual
applications can be hosted on virtual cloud infrastructures, but also complete
business processes. This allows the realization of so-called elastic processes,
i.e., processes which are carried out using elastic cloud resources. Despite
the manifold benefits of elastic processes, there is still a lack of solutions
supporting them.
In this paper, we identify the state of the art of elastic Business Process
Management with a focus on infrastructural challenges. We conceptualize an
architecture for an elastic Business Process Management System and discuss
existing work on scheduling, resource allocation, monitoring, decentralized
coordination, and state management for elastic processes. Furthermore, we
present two representative elastic Business Process Management Systems which
are intended to counter these challenges. Based on our findings, we identify
open issues and outline possible research directions for the realization of
elastic processes and elastic Business Process Management.Comment: Please cite as: S. Schulte, C. Janiesch, S. Venugopal, I. Weber, and

Dynamic Model-based Management of Service-Oriented Infrastructure.
Models are an effective tool for systems and software design. They allow software architects to abstract from the non-relevant details. Those qualities are also useful for the technical management of networks, systems and software, such as those that compose service oriented architectures. Models can provide a set of well-defined abstractions over the distributed heterogeneous service infrastructure that enable its automated management. We propose to use the managed system as a source of dynamically generated runtime models, and decompose management processes into a composition of model transformations. We have created an autonomic service deployment and configuration architecture that obtains, analyzes, and transforms system models to apply the required actions, while being oblivious to the low-level details. An instrumentation layer automatically builds these models and interprets the planned management actions to the system. We illustrate these concepts with a distributed service update operation
Model Based Development of Quality-Aware Software Services
Modelling languages and development frameworks give support for functional and structural description of software architectures. But quality-aware applications require languages which allow expressing QoS as a first-class concept during architecture design and service composition, and to extend existing tools and infrastructures adding support for modelling, evaluating, managing and monitoring QoS aspects. In addition to its functional behaviour and internal structure, the developer of each service must consider the fulfilment of its quality requirements. If the service is flexible, the output quality depends both on input quality and available resources (e.g., amounts of CPU execution time and memory). From the software engineering point of view, modelling of quality-aware requirements and architectures require modelling support for the description of quality concepts, support for the analysis of quality properties (e.g. model checking and consistencies of quality constraints, assembly of quality), tool support for the transition from quality requirements to quality-aware architectures, and from quality-aware architecture to service run-time infrastructures. Quality management in run-time service infrastructures must give support for handling quality concepts dynamically. QoS-aware modeling frameworks and QoS-aware runtime management infrastructures require a common evolution to get their integration
