    The principle of this research is un availability of secure data exchange lines, as well as the lack of authentication for users who join the PT network. Anugerah Tunggal Mandiri. To ensure the security of the VPN, the need for authentication process in which the adoption of restrictions on who is allowed to enter a network. Protocol that supports VPN authentication process on one of which is Service User Authentication Dial-In remote (RADIUS). This protocol is also often used for authentication of the wireless network, Ethernet switches and other devices. Application of VPN technology allows data exchange can be run safely and smoothly, as supported by the encryption technologies and tunnels. the RADIUS server is used as a centralized user management, which has the capacity in terms of authentication, authorization and accounting. The results showed the data sent through the VPN pass through a special line known as the tunnel name and therefore can not be detected by sniffing program.     Abstrak: Makin meningkatnya penggunaan jaringan wireless menimbulkan banyak dampak pada keamanan Jaringan Wireless itu sendiri, dengan banyaknya penggunaan keamanan dasar pada jaringan hotspot mengakibatkan banyaknya orang yang mempertanyakan tentang keamanannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem autentikasi hotspot menggunakan radius server mikrotik router, Radius (Remote Autentication Dial In User Service) merupakan aplikasi open source yang berfungsi sebagai autentikasi pengguna pada jaringan hotspot.     Sistem Keamanan Pada Jaringan Wireless Menggunakan Protokol RADIUS

    Wireless networks require a security system to protect servers from attacks such as Port Scanning and Denial of Service. This research aims to design a wireless network security system using Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service or RADIUS protocol. The research stages include analysis of system requirements, preparation of completeness of system requirements, installation and configuration of the network and RADIUS protocol, detection and prevention testing of attacks, and analysis of test results. The design system used is to implement a single authentication, authorization, and accounting protocol that supports the internal and external networks of the Bahana Taruko Santosa Company. The results of implementing the RADIUS protocol on a wireless network server service can perform a DoS attack filter properly and block unauthorized users from accessing Internet services. Data analysis results show DoS attacks with the type of ICMP Flooding attack and UDP Flooding attack can be blocked with a percentage of 98%. In addition, there is a reduction in unauthenticated user access rights with the result of reducing the amount of bandwidth usage

    Using various applications needs more than one authentication or user and password to login. Users in BPPT found this problem on their network application. Implementation of Single Sign On can help users to use only one authentication for many applications. Therefore a research is conducted to design and implement Single Sign On system that simplify and facilitate the user's email account to access application. Data are collected from literature study, system observation, and interviews while the design uses Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. The research results in a Single Sign On system that utilizez Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). In addition, Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) is managed in accordance with the needs of the institution. Single Sign On system designed runs well and is able to provide conveniences for the user to use the services of existing applications, as it provides a standard email address to the user's identity.     Profile mapping with AAA server in wireless local area

    In cellular networks user/service profiles of subscribers are maintained in the Home Location Register (HLR) at the Home Network where the subscriber is registered. When the user roams into a foreign network, his user/service profile is downloaded into a Visitor Location Register (VLR) at the foreign network to allow his access to all subscribed services with the same or similar Quality of Service (QoS) to which he had subscribed[1]. However, there is no provision for user profile storage and handling in Wireless Local Area (WLAN)s and this issue has never been addressed. The project proposed by Prof. Nirmala Shenoy and Bruce Hartpence involves roaming from cellular network to WLANs with appropriate QoS mapping. Roaming across IP based wireless networks requires MobileIPv4 (MIPv4) and Authorization, Authentication and Accounting (AAA). The AAA ser- vices can be provided via AAA servers implementing Terminal Access Con- troller Access Control System Plus (TACACS+) or Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) protocols. The MIPv4 protocol provides roaming capabilities to users by allowing mobile users to use two IP addresses (home address at Home Network and COA at Foreign Network)
