    The development of science at a time with rapid technological advancements to be applied in all fields. In addition to the creation of computers and the rapid development of the internet network today is also equipped with a web-base application that can be used to disseminate information quickly. The purpose of this study is that researchers want to build a Content Management System that aims specifically for the development of applications based on Rapid Application Development with the basic standard Application Portal News. Based on research that has been done and taking data samples at the Office of the Governor of West Sumatra by using the Action Research, library and laboratory research methods, it is known that the Content Management System that the researchers designed can be used as a news portal capable of disseminating information. Designing a Content Management System that uses the Codeigniter Framework, is able to provide convenience in developing the system in the future and can be used to build other website applications based on Rapid Application Development.     Cross-Layer Peer-to-Peer Track Identification and Optimization Based on Active Networking

    P2P applications appear to emerge as ultimate killer applications due to their ability to construct highly dynamic overlay topologies with rapidly-varying and unpredictable traffic dynamics, which can constitute a serious challenge even for significantly over-provisioned IP networks. As a result, ISPs are facing new, severe network management problems that are not guaranteed to be addressed by statically deployed network engineering mechanisms. As a first step to a more complete solution to these problems, this paper proposes a P2P measurement, identification and optimisation architecture, designed to cope with the dynamicity and unpredictability of existing, well-known and future, unknown P2P systems. The purpose of this architecture is to provide to the ISPs an effective and scalable approach to control and optimise the traffic produced by P2P applications in their networks. This can be achieved through a combination of different application and network-level programmable techniques, leading to a crosslayer identification and optimisation process. These techniques can be applied using Active Networking platforms, which are able to quickly and easily deploy architectural components on demand. This flexibility of the optimisation architecture is essential to address the rapid development of new P2P protocols and the variation of known protocols

    The development of the digital world in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly. The rapid development of the digital world is accompanied by developments in Information Technology. One of the efforts that has been made by BAZNAS ProvSu in assisting the management of zakat is by applying information technology through the application of the BAZNAS information management system (SIMBA). However, there are several obstacles in optimizing the application of SIMBA in zakat management, such as the limited ICT skills possessed by zakat managers and the internet network which is sometimes less supportive. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to optimize the application of technology through the application of the BAZNAS Information Management System (SIMBA) in the management of zakat at BAZNAS ProvSu and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of technology through the application of the BAZNAS Information Management System (SIMBA) in the management of zakat at BAZNAS ProvSu. The research objectives in this study were to determine the optimization of the application of technology through the application of the BAZNAS Information Management System (SIMBA) in the management of zakat at BAZNAS ProvSu and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of technology through the application of the BAZNAS Information Management System (SIMBA) in the management of zakat at BAZNAS ProvSu. . The research method in this research is to use a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques by collecting and reviewing all data, data reduction, compiling data and checking the validity of the data. The results showed that the implementation of the SIMBA application at BAZNAS ProvSu in zakat management had not yet run optimally. Supporting factors in optimizing the application of the samba application in zakat management at BAZNAS ProvSu such as the quality of HR in the IT field, internet networks and laptops and computers. In addition, the inhibiting factors come from internal and external parties

    Social Management Networks: Analysis of Postings in Facebook Groups Related to Wildlife Management and Prospects for Data Collection Issues in Information Systems

    Rapid acceptance and development of social network applications provide opportunities to gather data at low costs and to allow for coordinated use of this information for management. The phrase “social management networks” is proposed to focus study on social networks used for management objectives. This paper examines frequency of postings on Facebook groups related to wildlife management in order to see how this application is being developed to support these social management networks. Also, a survey of college business students is analyzed to see how social networking applications might be used to support environmental scanning using surveys. The results suggest that many social management networks have only modest or little success, but there are some significant successes. Postings in Facebook groups tend to be linearly related to group size, except when very large groups are also considered. Online surveys significantly increase participation compared to mailed surveys as measured by intended participation rates. Adding Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter support can marginally improve participation rates for an online survey

    Modeling network traffic on a global network-centric system with artificial neural networks

    This dissertation proposes a new methodology for modeling and predicting network traffic. It features an adaptive architecture based on artificial neural networks and is especially suited for large-scale, global, network-centric systems. Accurate characterization and prediction of network traffic is essential for network resource sizing and real-time network traffic management. As networks continue to increase in size and complexity, the task has become increasingly difficult and current methodology is not sufficiently adaptable or scaleable. Current methods model network traffic with express mathematical equations which are not easily maintained or adjusted. The accuracy of these models is based on detailed characterization of the traffic stream which is measured at points along the network where the data is often subject to constant variation and rapid evolution. The main contribution of this dissertation is development of a methodology that allows utilization of artificial neural networks with increased capability for adaptation and scalability. Application on an operating global, broadband network, the Connexion by BoeingĘĽ network, was evaluated to establish feasibility. A simulation model was constructed and testing was conducted with operational scenarios to demonstrate applicability on the case study network and to evaluate improvements in accuracy over existing methods --Abstract, page iii
