During a pandemic, we must reduce physical contact both with other people and with objects around us. With automatic payments using RFID technology based on the Internet of Things and websites to minimize physical contact (contactless smartcards) and minimize fraud in transactions. The system uses RFID sensors, Nodemcu esp8266, Jumper cables, I2c LCDs, and databases. Using the Prototype method that works continuously through collaboration between users and analysts. The contactless smartcard system at the SMK Taman Harapan Bekasi canteen can make transactions easier in the canteen. The contactless smartcard was created using the NodeMCU Esp8266 by utilizing the rfid mifare522 sensor as a tag detector so that it can facilitate the buying and selling process, for monitoring it has used a website with data that has been automatically stored in the database to find out canteen and admin user information and transaction history is saved to the database in real time.   Keywords: Database, Intenet of Things, Nodemcu esp8266, RFID, Web Service.   Abstrak   Pada masa pandemi kita harus mengurangi kontak fisik baik dengan orang lain maupun dengan benda disekitar. An examination of mobile banking and mobile payments: building adoption as experience goods?

    Get PDF
This paper examines consumer adoption of mobile banking and mobile payments using the experience goods and learning by doing constructs as a framework to better understand adoption patterns in the United States and how these may differ in other world markets. Consumer experience and familiarity with mobile devices is considered along with three relatively new communication technologies – SMS text messaging, wireless Internet access, and near field communication (NFC) – that are making important contributions to mobile financial services. Online banking and contactless payments — and consumers’ experience with them — are also studied as “building blocks” to mobile financial services. Furthermore, this analysis considers other factors that are affecting adoption patterns, including financial inclusion opportunities, data security problems, and coordination issues. Together, the building blocks and these other factors will influence how markets for mobile financial services develop.

Kata Kunci--- RFID, Tag, Pembaca, Identifikasi, contacless Abstract--- RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a technology that uses electromagnetic waves (RF), RFID technology is capable of automatically identifying the presence of a person or an object by moving information from an RFID tag to a reader (Reader). RFID technology to uniquely identify an object or person and provide a link to the data by a certain distance (contactless), without having to look directly (Line of Sight) and is not easily affected by the surrounding environmental conditions.  The proposed research is aimed at in order to help create a system that can automatically calculate by applying identification system that uses radio Frequency Identification (RFID), the final results obtained from the use of RFID technology is to automatically determine the number of multi-tag interaction happens. Key Words--- Radio Frequency Identification, Tag, Reader, Identification, contactles

Maximising the RFID benefits at the tyre distribution centre

In recent years the applications of radio frequency identification technology (RFID) in warehousing have gained a great amount of attention as it is a challenging and dynamic environment. Analysing a receiving operation of third party logistic (3PL) operator running a tyre distribution centre, this paper presents a case study of RFID application in the warehouse. The receiving process is enhanced with the RFID technology, which provides contactless identification, less manual data entry errors, instant stock management. Moreover, these benefits could be maximised by the proposed use of the RFID generated data in accounting of costs and services, which is a novel application of the RFID technology

A Practical Attack on the MIFARE Classic

    Get PDF
The MIFARE Classic is the most widely used contactless smart card in the market. Its design and implementation details are kept secret by its manufacturer. This paper studies the architecture of the card and the communication protocol between card and reader. Then it gives a practical, low-cost, attack that recovers secret information from the memory of the card. Due to a weakness in the pseudo-random generator, we are able to recover the keystream generated by the CRYPTO1 stream cipher. We exploit the malleability of the stream cipher to read all memory blocks of the first sector of the card. Moreover, we are able to read any sector of the memory of the card, provided that we know one memory block within this sector. Finally, and perhaps more damaging, the same holds for modifying memory blocks

A study on stryhcnos potatorum and pisum sativum as natural coagulants for meat food processing wastewater

Wastewater generated from meat food processing industry has significant effects on the environment. Many methods have been reported for removing turbidity, total suspended solids (TSS), chemical oxygen demand (COD), oil and grease (O&G) and colour from meat food processing wastewater (MFPW). The most common method among them is flocculation-coagulation process which is widely used. Although inorganic coagulants are prominent in wastewater treatments, its application may cause toxic residual. In this study, the attempt has been made to study the performance of S. Potatorum (nirmali) and P. Sativum (pea) seed as natural coagulants in the flocculation process. A further aim is to determine the optimum conditions for the treatment of MFPW effluents such as coagulant dosage, mixing rate and pH. An adsorption study was also carried out to study the adsorption potential of these coagulants to treat MFPW. A lab-scale treatment tank was developed to evaluate the effectiveness in MFPW treatment. Jar test results showed that optimum dosage, pH and mixing rate for S. Potatorum were pH 8 with dosage of 150 mg/L and 150 rpm mixing rate with the removal of turbidity, TSS, COD, O&G and colour are 91%, 97.6%, 58.4%, 79.9% and 84.3% respectively. Meanwhile, for P. Sativum, the optimum condition were observed at pH 8 with dosage of 150 mg/L and 150 rpm mixing rate with the removal of turbidity, TSS, COD, O&G and colour 87.8%, 97.3%, 65.5%, 77.9% and 76.5% respectively. The adsorption study was found that the analysis fitted well to the Langmuir isotherm for both natural coagulants. Results show that the percentage of turbidity, TSS, COD, O&G removal by chemical coagulants are quite similar than natural coagulants when lab-scale treatment tank was used to treat the MFPW. This indicated that these natural coagulants have a potential to use as alternative in wastewater treatment

    INQUIRY OVER BIOMETRIC PASSPORTS

The biometric passport is the new type of passports, which from October 2006 are required for entry to the US by the VWP (see also later on the section Types of biometric passports). The passports must contain an RFID-chip, which holds digitized information about the passport’s owner. The individual government decides much of the specific digital information, but certain demands are made by the US and the ICAO standard.biometric, rfid, icao, vwp
