A quantum-inspired sensor consolidation measurement approach for cyber-physical systems.

Cyber-Physical System (CPS) devices interconnect to grab data over a common platform from industrial applications. Maintaining immense data and making instant decision analysis by selecting a feasible node to meet latency constraints is challenging. To address this issue, we design a quantum-inspired online node consolidation (QONC) algorithm based on a time-sensitive measurement reinforcement system for making decisions to evaluate the feasible node, ensuring reliable service and deploying the node at the appropriate position for accurate data computation and communication. We design the Angular-based node position analysis method to localize the node through rotation and t-gate to mitigate latency and enhance system performance. We formalize the estimation and selection of the feasible node based on quantum formalization node parameters (node contiguity, node optimal knack rate, node heterogeneity, probability of fusion variance error ratio). We design a fitness function to assess the probability of node fitness before selection. The simulation results convince us that our approach achieves an effective measurement rate of performance index by reducing the average error ratio from 0.17-0.22, increasing the average coverage ratio from 29% to 42%, and the qualitative execution frequency of services. Moreover, the proposed model achieves a 74.3% offloading reduction accuracy and a 70.2% service reliability rate compared to state-of-the-art approaches. Our system is scalable and efficient under numerous simulation frameworks

Proposal of a health care network based on big data analytics for PDs

    Get PDF
Health care networks for Parkinson's disease (PD) already exist and have been already proposed in the literature, but most of them are not able to analyse the vast volume of data generated from medical examinations and collected and organised in a pre-defined manner. In this work, the authors propose a novel health care network based on big data analytics for PD. The main goal of the proposed architecture is to support clinicians in the objective assessment of the typical PD motor issues and alterations. The proposed health care network has the ability to retrieve a vast volume of acquired heterogeneous data from a Data warehouse and train an ensemble SVM to classify and rate the motor severity of a PD patient. Once the network is trained, it will be able to analyse the data collected during motor examinations of a PD patient and generate a diagnostic report on the basis of the previously acquired knowledge. Such a diagnostic report represents a tool both to monitor the follow up of the disease for each patient and give robust advice about the severity of the disease to clinicians

Engage is the SESAR 2020 Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN). It is managed by a consortium of academia and industry, with the support of the SESAR Joint Undertaking. This report highlights future research opportunities for ATM. The basic framework is structured around three research pillars. Each research pillar has a dedicated section in this report. SESAR’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, Digital European Sky is a focal point of comparison. Much of the work is underpinned by the building and successful launch of the Engage wiki, which comprises an interactive research map, an ATM concepts roadmap and a research repository. Extensive lessons learned are presented. Detailed proposals for future research, plus research enablers and platforms are suggested for SESAR 3

Quantum Inspired Genetic Programming Model to Predict Toxicity Degree for Chemical Compounds

    Get PDF
Cheminformatics plays a vital role to maintain a large amount of chemical data. A reliable prediction of toxic effects of chemicals in living systems is highly desirable in domains such as cosmetics, drug design, food safety, and manufacturing chemical compounds. Toxicity prediction topic requires several new approaches for knowledge discovery from data to paradigm composite associations between the modules of the chemical compound; such techniques need more computational cost as the number of chemical compounds increases. State-of-the-art prediction methods such as neural network and multi-layer regression that requires either tuning parameters or complex transformations of predictor or outcome variables are not achieving high accuracy results.  This paper proposes a Quantum Inspired Genetic Programming “QIGP” model to improve the prediction accuracy. Genetic Programming is utilized to give a linear equation for calculating toxicity degree more accurately. Quantum computing is employed to improve the selection of the best-of-run individuals and handles parsimony pressure to reduce the complexity of the solutions. The results of the internal validation analysis indicated that the QIGP model has the better goodness of fit statistics and significantly outperforms the Neural Network model
