Solution of three-dimensional free boundary problems by variable interchange
The three-dimensional problem of the seepage of fluid through a circular earth dam is solved to illustrate a new approach to more general free boundary problems. The method is based on Boadway's transformation in which the dependent variable, representing velocity potential, is interchanged with one of the independent space variables, which then becomes the new dependent variable to be computed. The need to determine the position of the whole of the free surface in the three-dimensional physical space is reduced to locating the position of the separation line on a fixed plane boundary in the transformed domain.
An iterative algorithm approximates within each single loop both a finite-difference solution of the partial differential equation and the position of the separation line

Applying medicinal chemistry strategies to understand odorant discrimination
Associating an odorant’s chemical structure with its percept is a long-standing challenge. One hindrance may come from the adoption of the organic chemistry scheme of molecular description and classification. Chemists classify molecules according to characteristics that are useful in synthesis or isolation, but which may be of little importance to a biological sensory system. Accordingly, we look to medicinal chemistry, which emphasizes biological function over chemical form, in an attempt to discern which among the many molecular features are most important for odour discrimination. Here we use medicinal chemistry concepts to assemble a panel of molecules to test how heteroaromatic ring substitution of the benzene ring will change the odour percept of acetophenone. This work allows us to describe an extensive rule in odorant detection by mammalian olfactory receptors. Whereas organic chemistry would have predicted the ring size and composition to be key features, our work reveals that the topological polar surface area is the key feature for the discrimination of these odorants
Pesan-Pesan Akhlak Dalam Program Siaran Dakwah Pemuda Hijrah Radio Fajri 99.3 Fm Bogor Tahun 2019
Every mu’min is required to have a good character where the character is reflected in the deeds in his daily life. The Prophet must be used as a guide in behavior, because God has given a great character inside the Prophet as an example for all humanity. Radio is an effective mass media that can be used as a medium for delivering Islamic da'wah messages to the public. One of the advantages of preaching through radio is that it does not require a large fee, where the message of preaching can also be conveyed quickly. Since the beginning until now, Radio Fajri 99.3 FM continues to be consistent in delivering da'wah. Many kinds of broadcast/rubric material are provided by this radio for loyal listeners. Based on the above context, the purpose of this study was to find out what moral messages contained in the Pemuda Hijrah Da'wah Broadcats Program of Fajri Radio 99.3 FM Bogor in 2019 and the relationship between moral messages in the Pemuda Hijrah Da'wah Broadcats Program of Fajri Radio 99.3 FM Bogor in 2019 with the characteristics of human spiritual intelligence The method used in this research was the content analysis method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using observation and documentation techniques, namely by collecting recordings of all episodes of the Pemuda Hijrah Da'wah Broadcast Program in 2019. The population of this study was 150 audio recordings (150 episodes). Then the researcher used a purposive sampling method in determining the sample where the sample size was about 10% of the population which was as many as 16 episodes. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the moral messages in the Pemuda Hijrah Da'wah Broadcast Program of Fajri Radio 99.3 FM Bogor in 2019 are patience, trust, devotion to parents (birrul walidain), piety, honesty, gratitude, sincerity, and qana’ah. The relationship between moral messages in Pemuda Hijrah Da'wah Broadcast Program of Fajri Radio 99.3 FM Bogor in 2019 with the characteristics of human intelligence is very close. Every feature of human spiritual intelligence is related to the teachings of Islamic morals. The first characteristic describes the character of trust, the second character describes the character of piety, the third character describes the character of self-introspection (muhasabah), the fourth character describes the character of patience, the fifth character describes the firm character of the establishment (tsabat), the sixth character describes the honest character, the seventh character describes the morality of qana'ah, and the eighth character describes sincerity
Conceptual modeling in the era of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence: Research topics and introduction to the special issue
Since the first version of the Entity–Relationship (ER) model proposed by Peter Chen over forty years ago, both the ER model and conceptual modeling activities have been key success factors for modeling computer-based systems. During the last decade, conceptual modeling has been recognized as an important research topic in academia, as well as a necessity for practitioners. However, there are many research challenges for conceptual modeling in contemporary applications such as Big Data, data-intensive applications, decision support systems, e-health applications, and ontologies. In addition, there remain challenges related to the traditional efforts associated with methodologies, tools, and theory development. Recently, novel research is uniting contributions from both the conceptual modeling area and the Artificial Intelligence discipline in two directions. The first one is efforts related to how conceptual modeling can aid in the design of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms. The second one is how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can be applied in model-based solutions, such as model-based engineering, to infer and improve the generated models. For the first time in the history of Conceptual Modeling (ER) conferences, we encouraged the submission of papers based on AI and ML solutions in an attempt to highlight research from both communities. In this paper, we present some of important topics in current research in conceptual modeling. We introduce the selected best papers from the 37th International Conference on Conceptual Modeling (ER’18) held in Xi’an, China and summarize some of the valuable contributions made based on the discussions of these papers. We conclude with suggestions for continued research. The research reported in this paper was partially funded by the ECLIPSE-UA (RTI2018-094283-B-C32) and the AETHER-UA (PID2020-112540RB-C43) Projects from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation
