The Use of Cartoon Story Maker in Writing Practice
Entering the new era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, we have grown used to technology in education and, in particular, learning languages. The study aimed to explore and describe the use of Cartoon Story Maker, a digital comic software, in writing practice. It focuses on comparing the difficulties students experience in writing using Cartoon Story Maker and without the media. Besides, students’ responses were also investigated. The methods used included observation, planning, implementation, analysis, and data presentation. Data were obtained from the compositions and questionnaires of 30 students of STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. The findings showed that some problems did not occur repeatedly. Moreover, the students gave positive responses on the use of the software in writing practice because they could relate the writing experience to their real life.

Development of an Industry 4.0 Demonstrator Using Sequence Planner and ROS2
In many modern automation solutions, manual off-line programming is being replaced by online algorithms that dynamically perform tasks based on the state of the environment. Complexities of such systems are pushed even further with collaboration among robots and humans, where intelligent machines and learning algorithms are replacing more traditional automation solutions. This chapter describes the development of an industrial demonstrator using a control infrastructure called Sequence Planner (SP), and presents some lessons learned during development. SP is based on ROS2 and it is designed to aid in handling the increased complexity of these new systems using formal models and online planning algorithms to coordinate the actions of robots and other devices. During development, SP can auto generate ROS nodes and message types as well as support continuous validation and testing. SP is also designed with the aim to handle traditional challenges of automation software development such as safety, reliability and efficiency. In this chapter, it is argued that ROS2 together with SP could be an enabler of intelligent automation for the next industrial revolution
Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Selangor.
pendidikan

Information support and interactive planning in the digital factory : approach and industry-driven evaluation
In the modern world we are continuously surrounded by information. The human brain has to analyse and interpret this information to transform into useable knowledge that is then used in decision making activities. The advent and implementation of Industry 4.0 will make it a requirement for systems within factories to interact and share large quantities of information with each other. This large volume of information will make it even more difficult for the human resources within the factory to sift through the large amount of information required since there is a limit to the information that our brains can cope with. Just in time information retrieval (JITIR) within the digital factory environment aims to provide support to the human stakeholders in the system by proactively yet non-intrusively providing the required information at the right time based on the users context. This paper will therefore provide an insight into the cognitive difficulties experienced by humans in the digital factory and how JITIR can tackle these challenges. By validating the JITIR concept, several industry scenarios have been evaluated: an exemplary model, concerning the machine tool industry, is presented in the paper. The results of this research are a set of guidelines for the development of a digital factory support tool.peer-reviewe
