    Pendidikan Spiritualisme dalam Perspektif Al-Quran

    This article aims to analyze spiritualism education in the Quran. The discussion focuses on four sub-discussions, namely: (1) The meaning of spiritualism in the Quran; (2) spiritual aspects of the Quran; (3) methods of Quran spirituality; and (4) the implications of Quran spirituality. This literature review documents various books, journals, and other research results as data sources. The collected data were then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the concept of spiritualism in the perspective of the Koran is related to the world of the spirit, close to God, contains mysticism and interiority, and is equated with the essentials. Based on tracing the verses of the Quran, the three dimensions of spirituality in it are the dimension of transcendental, the dimension of norms, and the dimension of values. There are three methods of Quranic spirituality, namely tazakkur (remembrance of Allah), tafakkur (thinking about nature), and tadabbur (thinking about revelations or verses of Allah). The implications of the spirituality of the Koran are manifested in two terms in tasawuf spiritualism, namely al-maqāmat (the path to Sufism) and al-aḥwāl (the Sufi character)

    This study discusses typology of Islamic education philosophy derived from educational discourses in the classical Islamic philosophy. While existing construction of the philosophy of Islamic education is still heavily influenced by the Western philosophy, the current study investigates philosophical views of Islamic education from several philosophers in classical Islam. This research focuses on the question of human essence to discover the nature and purpose of Islamic education.     The tradition of children education at Gayo typically begins since infant to childhood. At earlier stage, they learn by listening to chant, folktale, and learning from local Islamic scholars. However, in the modernization era, the tradition is worn off. Modernization has changed the youth at Gayo into spiritual depletion, lack in dynamic and creativity, moral degradation and inadequate friendship. To overcome the education crisis of the children in Gayo, it needs reorientation by integrated approach between the Islamic Shariah and the education tradition of Gayo. It is applied though functioning and coordinating between the official Islamic Shariah, the tradition institution of Gayo, and the deliberative board of ulama. Di sinilah muncul tuntutan dari beberapa pihak pengguna pendidikan untuk memunculkan keunggulan manusia melalui konsep insan kamil di dunia pendidikan. Insan kamil dapat dibentuk jika manusia saling menghormati dan menjalankan ajaran agamanya dengan murni dan konsekuen. Nilai religius multikultural merupakan nilai urgen untuk diinternalisasikan kepada peserta didik karena nilai tersebut akan mampu menjadikan peserta didik menjadi lebih toleran dan lebih religius bahkan mengamalkan ajaran agamanya dan menyentuh afeksi dan psikomotoriknya.
