On surfaces with p_g=q=2, K^2=5 and Albanese map of degree 3

We construct a connected, irreducible component of the moduli space of minimal surfaces of general type with $p_g=q=2$ and $K^2=5$, which contains both examples given by Chen-Hacon and the first author. This component is generically smooth of dimension 4, and all its points parametrize surfaces whose Albanese map is a generically finite triple cover.Comment: 35 pages, 2 figures. Deformation Quantization of Almost Kahler Models and Lagrange-Finsler Spaces

Finsler and Lagrange spaces can be equivalently represented as almost Kahler manifolds enabled with a metric compatible canonical distinguished connection structure generalizing the Levi Civita connection. The goal of this paper is to perform a natural Fedosov-type deformation quantization of such geometries. A view of canonical extension

This is a short survey illustrating some of the essential aspects of the theory of canonical extensions. In addition some topological results about canonical extensions of lattices with additional operations in finitely generated varieties are given. In particular, they are doubly algebraic lattices and their interval topologies agree with their double Scott topologies and make them Priestley topological algebras.Comment: 24 pages, 2 figures.
