Beef products demand keeps increasing and its domestic supply is insufficient. Domestic beef production to meet domestic demand is one of priorities in the 2015-2019 Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Agriculture. This study aims to examine feasibility of cattle business, channel supply chain, and supply chain management performance of cattle and beef commodities. The method of analysis using approaches of feasibility cattle business, supply chain channels of cattle and beef commodities, and cattle supply chain management at farmers' level. Analysis results show that small-scale cattle fattening business on cash costs was still profitable, but its profit was lower or incurring loss if based on the total costs. Medium and large business scales were profitable and depending on the race types of cattle business. Supply channels were diverse and quite long controlled by middlemen, slaughters, and inter-regional traders/distributors. Supply chain management performance of cattle commodity was relatively well structured with low to moderate market integration. To improve the supply chain management performance, it is necessary to implement a horizontally-integrated business. In addition, it is urgent to involve small and medium-large business involvement, as well as partial vertical integration

Results of the study, the total score of the IFE Matrix is of 3.23 and the EFE Matrix has a total score of 3.05. Strategies that can be used is the strategy of vertical integration (Vertical Integration). Whither China? Reform and economic integration among Chinese regions

This paper investigates the changing nature of economic integration in China. Speci cally, we consider business-cycle synchronization (correlation of demand and supply shocks) among Chinese provinces during the period 1955-2011. We nd that the symmetry of supply shocks has declined after the liberalization initiated in 1978. In contrast, the correlation of demand shocks has increased during the same period. We then seek to explain these correlations by relating them to factors that proxy for interprovincial trade and vulnerability of regions to idiosyncratic shocks. Interprovincial trade and similarity in factor endowments tend to make shocks more symmetric. Surprisingly, foreign trade and inward FDI have little e¤ect on the symmetry of shocks

Business process integration is based on \ standards and reference architectures, which should \ offer end-to-end integration of product data. \ Companies operating in supply chains establish \ process and data integration through the specialized \ intermediate companies, whose role is to establish \ interoperability by mapping and integrating companyspecific \ data for various organizations and systems. \ This has typically caused high integration costs, and \ diffusion is slow. This paper investigates the \ requirements and functionalities of supply chain \ integration. Cloud integration can be expected to offer \ a cost-effective business model for interoperable \ digital supply chains. We explain how supply chain \ integration through the blockchain technology can \ achieve disruptive transformation in digital supply \ chains and networks
