A language for information commerce processes

    Get PDF
Automatizing information commerce requires languages to represent the typical information commerce processes. Existing languages and standards cover either only very specific types of business models or are too general to capture in a concise way the specific properties of information commerce processes. We introduce a language that is specifically designed for information commerce. It can be directly used for the implementation of the processes and communication required in information commerce. It allows to cover existing business models that are known either from standard proposals or existing information commerce applications on the Internet. The language has a concise logical semantics. In this paper we present the language concepts and an implementation architecture

International conference on software engineering and knowledge engineering: Session chair

The Thirtieth International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE 2018) will be held at the Hotel Pullman, San Francisco Bay, USA, from July 1 to July 3, 2018. SEKE2018 will also be dedicated in memory of Professor Lofti Zadeh, a great scholar, pioneer and leader in fuzzy sets theory and soft computing. The conference aims at bringing together experts in software engineering and knowledge engineering to discuss on relevant results in either software engineering or knowledge engineering or both. Special emphasis will be put on the transference of methods between both domains. The theme this year is soft computing in software engineering & knowledge engineering. Submission of papers and demos are both welcome

Training the Behaviour Preferences on Context Changes

Personalized ambient intelligent systems should meet changes in user’s needs, which evolve over time. Our objective is to create an adaptive system that learns the user behaviour preferences. We propose *BAM – * Behaviour Adaptation Mechanism, a neural-network based control system that is trained, supervised by user’s (affective) feedback in real-time. The system deduces the preferred behaviour, based on the detection of affective state’s valence (negative, neutral and positive) from facial features analysis. The neural network is retrained periodically with the updated training set, obtained from the interpretation of the user’s reaction to the system’s decisions. We investigated how many training examples, rendered from user’s behaviour, are required in order to train the neural network so that it reaches an accuracy of at least 75%. We present the evolution of behaviour preference learning parameters when the number of context elements increases

Vers un modÚle de vérification de la couche logique d'entreprise dans une architecture à 3 couches: modÚle CPN-ECA

International audienceThis paper proposes a model for building a flexible system, which accepts and verifies the change on business logic, including both business processes and business rules, while the system has to cover the properties as reliability and reuse. In this model, the business process will be designed with Colour Petri Net and translated into a set of Event-Condition-Action rules, this set will be combined with business rules for checking the respect of a business process to the business rules in design and modifying the process. Hierarchical Colour Petri Net is also used to guarantee the reliability and to reuse properties of the system.
