    Get PDF
The digital transformation of public administration is a strategic project that has been initiated by Morocco several years ago. It is a very ambitious project that is of great importance for the development and growth of the country. Yet, its success depends highly on the involvement and participation of citizens. However, in Morocco, there is a lack of comprehensive information regarding the adoption and usage of these solutions, as well as the e-gov satisfaction levels among citizens. This research aligns with theories of information system usage behavior in a post-adoption context and focuses on the user's perspective, emphasizing the importance of studying the peculiarities of their usage behavior in order to promote the success of the systems and solutions offered to them. After addressing the situation of e-gov services in Morocco and presenting the theoretical basis of the research, this article proposes, in its third part, an integrative model composed of a fusion between several theories with the objective to study the continuous use behavior of e-gov services and systems in Morocco. This model includes motivation and satisfaction constructs to explain usage continuance. The proposed model will be the starting point of an empirical study whose goal is to explore all the assumed relationships in the model and to analyze them

This study incorporates perceived system quality into the original expectation-confirmation based information system continuance model in order to investigate the role of perceived system quality in users’ motivation to continue e-learning system use. Our proposed model was tested among university educators (n = 175) who use the popular open-source e-learning system, Moodle. The results reveal that perceived usefulness, confirmation of initial expectations, and perceived system quality significantly affected educators’ satisfaction. In addition, perceived usefulness and satisfaction significantly affected continuance intention. Unexpectedly, no direct association between perceived system quality and continuance intention was found. The determinants of continuance intention explain around 64% of its total variance. The paper finishes with conclusions and implications for future research and practice

Ten years ago, Bhattacherjee proposed the information system continuance model, which received considerable attention inthe literature. This study proposes an extended information system continuance model by incorporating system quality to theoriginal model in the context of educators’ utilization of e-learning technology for conducting courses. Our proposed modelis tested using a sample of 175 university educators using structured equation modeling. The results show that there is nosignificant direct association between system quality and continuance intention. However, system quality affects continuanceintention indirectly via perceived usefulness and satisfaction. All the relationships of the original information systemcontinuance model were supported. The determinants of continuance intention explained around 70% of its total variance

Digital payments evolve as the next generation system to take over the global commerce landscape in the same manner in which internet and mobile telephony had dominated the traditional communication domains. The use of mobile banking apps has spurred the digital medium across the globe and resulted in a fundamental shift in retailing practices. The purpose of this paper is to comprehend various factors influencing the customer’s continuance intention-behavior to use mobile banking apps. In this study, we developed a research model that encompasses the attributes of Expectation confirmation theory (ECT) and Self-determination theory (SDT). The research model was tested using survey data collected from 744 respondents across various demographics and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to understand the usage behavior of mobile banking apps in a multi-faceted business environment. The various hypothesis of the research model indicate that mobile banking apps continuance intention usage behavior is strongly influenced by the satisfaction, intrinsic and identified regulations, whereas satisfaction is influenced by the expectation-confirmation, trust, and quality. The research findings reveal that, “An enormous potential are available for marketing managers and researchers to tape these opportunities and plan for continual and sustainable growth of mobile banking apps. “ Available at: https://aisel.aisnet.org/pajais/vol10/iss2/5

This study focused on the continuance usage intention toward electronic learning environments using Dağhan & Akkoyunlu integrated model to better understand the determinants of students’ continuance intention to use these environments. The hypothetical model was determined using Technology Continuance Theory, Information Systems Success Model, Cognitive Model, and Information Systems Expectation Con-firmation. Empirical data from university students who had used an online learning environment infrequently were tested against the research model by using path analysis. The results indicated that the continuance variable was explained by utilitarian value, satisfaction, perceived value and perceived usability. The satisfac-tion variable was explained by system quality, service quality, outcome expectations and perceived value. The confirmation of the usage of online learning environments could be explained by information quality, system quality and service quality variables. In line with the obtained findings and results, some suggestion of implementation was provided for the next studies

Tam, C., Santos, D., & Oliveira, T. (2018). Exploring the influential factors of continuance intention to use mobile Apps: extending the expectation confirmation model. Information Systems Frontiers, 1-15. https://doi.org/10.1007/s10796-018-9864-5The use of mobile applications (apps) has been growing in the world of technology, a phenomenon related to the increasing number of smartphone users. Even though the mobile apps market is huge, few studies have been made on what makes individuals continue to use a mobile app or stop using it. This study aims to uncover the factors that underlie the continuance intention to use mobile apps, addressing two theoretical models: Expectation confirmation model (ECM) and the extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT2). A total of 304 questionnaires were collected by survey to test the theoretical framework proposal, using structural equation modelling (SEM). Our findings indicate that the most important drivers of continuance intention of mobile apps are satisfaction, habit, performance expectancy, and effort expectancy.authorsversionpublishe

    Get PDF
This quantitative study aims to identify factors affecting the intention of continuity of digital payment use in Generation Z in the post-Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the concepts of ECM (Expectation Confirmation Model) and TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), perceived ease of use, usefulness, and satisfaction were selected as determining variables. Data were collected through questionnaires from 150 Generation Z respondents as digital payment users and tested based on the SEM-PLS technique using SmartPLS software version 4.0. This research has proven that perceived ease of use and satisfaction are the main factors for the continuance intention of digital payment use in Generation Z, especially in the post-Covid-19 pandemic. In contrast, perceived usefulness is not a significant predictor that affects the continuance intention of use. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the expansion of literacy and increase the development of digital payment systems to meet consumer needs in the current cashless era. Further research is needed in describing the continuance intention of digital payment use in Generation Z by adding more variables and increasing the sample to get better findings
