Correlation Beetwen Body Weight with Scrotal Circumference, Testis Weight and Sperm Production of Boer Buck Intensively Rearing
Body weight of one of the regulators that determine the scrotum circumference and weight (large) testicles. Next, the weight of the testes has a very close relationship with sperm production that will determine the reproductive ability of a male. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body weight and scrotum circumference, testicular weight and boer goat sperm production that was maintained intensively. The study was conducted with a descriptive method with the material of 15 male goats owned by PT. Sadhana Arif Nusa. Data is processed by regression and correlation analysis using the SPSS program. The results showed that the body weight average was 52.58 ± 14.96 kg, correlated very significantly (p <0.01) with scrotum circumference (25.68 ± 1.96 cm) and testicular weight (0.46 ± 0, 10 kg) with a correlation coefficient of 0.67 and 0.91. Body weight not correlated (p> 0.05) with good sperm production volume (0.50 ± 0.19 ml), pH (6.43 ± 0.19), sperm consistency, progressive motility (73.33 ± 7, 24 %) and Spermatozoa concentration (2.18 ± 0.54 x 109/ml). The scrotum circumference is very significantly correlated (p <0.01) with a testicular weight and a real correlation (p <0.05) with sperm volume, motility and concentration of spermatozoa with a coefficient of 0.91 each; 0.58; 0.56 and 0.54. The testes weight is real correlating (p <0.05) with sperm volume, progressive motility and spermatozoa concentration with a coefficient of 0.53 each; 0.56 and 0.54. CONCLUSION, body weight correlates piosif with scrotum circumference, the weight of the quality of the testes and sperm production in boer goats
Microbiological and chemical characterization of fermented quinoa beverages obtained with kefir microorganisms
Quinoa is an Andean pseudocereal considered a natural food resource of high nutritional value whose importance is recognized in food security for present and future generations. In this study we combined the nutritional power of quinoa with the potential beneficial effects of kefir. Microbiological and physico-chemical properties of fermented quinoa beverages with kefir grains, acid mother cultures thereof, or lactobacilli isolated from kefir, with reported potential probiotic effects, were evaluated. Fermented quinoa beverages obtained with Lactiplantibacillus plantarum CIDCA 83114 or acid mother cultures were comparable, although the Lb. plantarum strain demonstrated better growth at fermentation (to 8.63 ± 0.07 log CFU·ml-1 against 6.13 ± 0.07 log CFU·ml-1, respectively). Furthermore, the quinoa suspensions fermented with Lb. plantarum CIDCA 83114 showed more significant improvements on total phenolics, antioxidant activity, proteolysis and amylolytic activity than those fermented with acid mother cultures. In contrast, Lactobacillus kefiri CIDCA 8348 and kefir grains CIDCA AGK1 were not able to ferment the substrate. Kefir grains lost biomass integrity during repeated inoculations into quinoa suspensions and the viability of the lactic acid bacteria decreased. The present study revealed suitable characteristics of Lb. plantarum CIDCA 83114 as a starter to obtain nutritious and potentially health-promoting fermented quinoa beverages.Fil: Pugliese, Andrea.
Test & Evaluation Best Practices for Machine Learning-Enabled Systems
Machine learning (ML) - based software systems are rapidly gaining adoption
across various domains, making it increasingly essential to ensure they perform
as intended. This report presents best practices for the Test and Evaluation
(T&E) of ML-enabled software systems across its lifecycle. We categorize the
lifecycle of ML-enabled software systems into three stages: component,
integration and deployment, and post-deployment. At the component level, the
primary objective is to test and evaluate the ML model as a standalone
component. Next, in the integration and deployment stage, the goal is to
evaluate an integrated ML-enabled system consisting of both ML and non-ML
components. Finally, once the ML-enabled software system is deployed and
operationalized, the T&E objective is to ensure the system performs as
intended. Maintenance activities for ML-enabled software systems span the
lifecycle and involve maintaining various assets of ML-enabled software
systems.
Given its unique characteristics, the T&E of ML-enabled software systems is
challenging. While significant research has been reported on T&E at the
component level, limited work is reported on T&E in the remaining two stages.
Furthermore, in many cases, there is a lack of systematic T&E strategies
throughout the ML-enabled system's lifecycle. This leads practitioners to
resort to ad-hoc T&E practices, which can undermine user confidence in the
reliability of ML-enabled software systems. New systematic testing approaches,
adequacy measurements, and metrics are required to address the T&E challenges
across all stages of the ML-enabled system lifecycle
Badung dan I Made Lanus di Desa Tihingan, Kabupaten Klungkung, mengetahui
berfrekuensi 158,2 Hz.

First record of dot-winged crake, Porzana spiloptera, durnford, 1877 (Rallidae) for the central Andes in Argentina
Porzana spiloptera, the Dot-wing Crake, has a patchy distribution in southern South America and has previously been considered as inhabiting exclusively lowland wetlands. Here we present evidence of a new population inhabiting a high-elevation site in the Central Andes of Argentina. This record suggests not only a broader distribution but greater tolerance of the species to higher elevation and lower temperatures than has previously been assumed.Fil: Zarco, Agustín.
