Now a day2019;s artificial neural network (ANN) has been widely used as a tool for solving many decision modeling problems. A multilayer perception is a feed forward ANN model that is used extensively for the solution of a no. of different problems. An ANN is the simulation of the human brain. It is a supervised learning technique used for non linear classification Coronary heart disease is major epidemic in India and Andhra Pradesh is in risk of Coronary Heart Disease. Clinical diagnosis is done mostly by doctor2019;s expertise and patients were asked to take no. of diagnosis tests. But all the tests will not contribute towards effective diagnosis of disease. Feature subset selection is a preprocessing step used to reduce dimensionality, remove irrelevant data. In this paper we introduce a classification approach which uses ANN and feature subset selection for the classification of heart disease. PCA is used for preprocessing and to reduce no. Of attributes which indirectly reduces the no. of diagnosis tests which are needed to be taken by a patient. We applied our approach on Andhra Pradesh heart disease data base. Our experimental results show that accuracy improved over traditional classification techniques. This system is feasible and faster and more accurate for diagnosis of heart disease

Data mining is the computer based process of analyzing enormous sets of data and then extracting the meaning of the data. Data mining tools predict future trends, allowing business to make proactive, knowledge-driven decisions. Data mining tools can answer business questions that traditionally taken much time consuming to resolve. The huge amounts of data generated for prediction of heart disease are too complex and voluminous to be processed and analyzed by traditional methods. Data mining provides the methodology and technology to transform these mounds of data into useful information for decision making. By using data mining techniques it takes less time for the prediction of the disease with more accuracy. In this paper we survey different papers in which one or more algorithms of data mining used for the prediction of heart disease. Result from using neural networks is nearly 100% in one paper [10] and in [6]. So that the prediction by using data mining algorithm given efficient results. Applying data mining techniques to heart disease treatment data can provide as reliable performance as that achieved in diagnosing heart disease

dissertationWith the growing national dissemination of the electronic health record (EHR), there are expectations that the public will benefit from biomedical research and discovery enabled by electronic health data. Clinical data are needed for many diseases and conditions to meet the demands of rapidly advancing genomic and proteomic research. Many biomedical research advancements require rapid access to clinical data as well as broad population coverage. A fundamental issue in the secondary use of clinical data for scientific research is the identification of study cohorts of individuals with a disease or medical condition of interest. The problem addressed in this work is the need for generalized, efficient methods to identify cohorts in the EHR for use in biomedical research. To approach this problem, an associative classification framework was designed with the goal of accurate and rapid identification of cases for biomedical research: (1) a set of exemplars for a given medical condition are presented to the framework, (2) a predictive rule set comprised of EHR attributes is generated by the framework, and (3) the rule set is applied to the EHR to identify additional patients that may have the specified condition. iv Based on this functionality, the approach was termed the ‘cohort amplification' framework. The development and evaluation of the cohort amplification framework are the subject of this dissertation. An overview of the framework design is presented. Improvements to some standard associative classification methods are described and validated. A qualitative evaluation of predictive rules to identify diabetes cases and a study of the accuracy of identification of asthma cases in the EHR using frameworkgenerated prediction rules are reported. The framework demonstrated accurate and reliable rules to identify diabetes and asthma cases in the EHR and contributed to methods for identification of biomedical research cohorts

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a serious but preventable complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) that results in substantial disease burden, increased health services use, and higher risk of premature mortality [10]. People with diabetes are also at a greatly increased risk of cardiovascular which results in sudden death, which increases year by year. Data mining is the search for relationships and global patterns that exist in large databases but are `hidden' among the vast amount of data, such as a relationship between patient data and their medical diagnosis. Usually medical databases of type 2 diabetic patients are high dimensional in nature. If a training dataset contains irrelevant and redundant features (i.e., attributes), classification analysis may produce less accurate results. In order for data mining algorithms to perform efficiently and effectively on high-dimensional data, it is imperative to remove irrelevant and redundant features. Feature selection is one of the important and frequently used data preprocessing techniques for data mining applications in medicine. Many of the research area in data mining has improved the predictive accuracy of the classifiers by applying the various techniques of feature selection This paper illustrates, the application of feature selection technique in medical databases, will enable to find small number of informative features leading to potential improvement in medical diagnosis. It is proposed to find an optimal feature subset of the PIMA Indian Diabetes Dataset using Artificial Bee Colony technique with Differential Evolution, Symmetrical Uncertainty Attribute set Evaluator and Fast Correlation-Based Filter (FCBF). Then Mutual information based feature selection is done by introducing normalized mutual information feature selection (NMIFS). And valid classes of input features are selected by applying Hybrid Fuzzy C Means algorithm (HFCM)

Human Diseases are increasing rapidly in today’s generation mainly due to the life style of people like poor diet, lack of exercises, drugs and alcohol consumption etc. But the most spreading disease that is commonly around 80% of people death direct and indirectly heart disease basis. In future (approximately after 10 years) maximum number of people may expire cause of heart diseases. Due to these reasons, many of researchers providing enormous remedy, data analysis in various proposed technologies for diagnosing heart diseases with plenty of medical data which is related to heart disease. In field of Medicine regularly receives very wide range of medical data in the form of text, image, audio, video, signal pockets, etc. This database contains raw dataset which consist of inconsistent and redundant data. The health care system is no doubt very rich in aspect of storing data but at the same time very poor in fetching knowledge. Data mining (DM) methods can help in extracting a valuable knowledge by applying DM terminologies like clustering, regression, segmentation, classification etc. After the collection of data when the dataset becomes larger and more complex than data mining algorithms and clustering algorithms (D-Tree, Neural Networks, K-means, etc.) are used. To get accuracy and precision values improved with proposed method of Cognitive Fuzzy Learning based Clustering Algorithm (CFLCA) method. CFLCA methodology creates advanced meta indexing for n-dimensional unstructured data. The heart disease dataset used after data enrichment and feature engineering with UCI machine learning algorithm, attain high level accurate and prediction rate. Through this proposed CFLCA algorithm is having high accuracy, precision and recall values of data analysis for heart diseases detection
