The weakness of information sharing has appeared clearly with the events of 11th of Sep 2001 that caused cannot stop and prevent the attacks of terrorist. Recently, a prevalent relationship between information sharing and intelligence in the context of counter-terrorism. A few studies have been conducted in this domain by Western countries whilst, none studies done with countries which have effected directly with terrorist attacks especially the Middle East. Issues with information sharing in intelligence domain are still significant challenges to cover. Nevertheless, literature showed there is no single model combined with the technology, information sharing and human factors with an empirical gap in this field, to determine what the intelligence need to develop non-failure intelligence product. This study aims to analysis the technology gap that focuses on fully supporting the common requirements of information sharing in Iraqi intelligence through propose an electronic information sharing model adopted based on Layered Behavioral Model. The fourteen factors are employed in five layers included, Policies and Political Constraints as an Environmental Layer, Compatibility, Information Quality, and Common Data Repository as an Organisation Layer, Cost, Expected Benefits, and Expected Risk as an Information Fusion Center Layer, Technology Capability, Top Management Support, and Coordination as a Readiness Layer, and the last factor in Individual Layer are Trust, Information Stewardship, and Information Security. A quantitative method employed to achieve a broader background of the phenomenon under investigation and to address a broader range of attitude and behavioural issues. This method was a statistical approach in testing the proposed research hypotheses for the factors. From the empirical testing point, found that Policies, Compatibility, Common Data Repository, Cost, Expected Benefits, Expected Risk, Technology Capability, Top Management Support, Trust, Information Stewardship, and Information Security had a significant influence on the degree of electronic information sharing. Whereas, Political Constraints, Information Quality, and Coordination had no significant influence on the degree of electronic information sharing. Several contributions of this study are, create a new theoretical model for the electronic information sharing within intelligence domain. Enhances existing literature by expanding upon layers and factors that are affecting in two dimensions are, electronic information sharing and intelligence. Add new vision to develop information fusion center in the context of electronic information sharing. Reduce the gap of the empirical study in intelligence sectors. And provide a formal strategy and creation a series of the guidelines for Iraqi intelligence authorities to govern E-information sharing activities

India is a developing country with a large landmass and a huge socio-culturally, economically and, ethnically diverse population. The healthcare system for such a diverse and complex country could entail challenges and difficulties in execution and outreach. Here, the emerging area of Telehealth could afford a place for itself in providing healthcare and health education to a large section of people residing in areas where there is acute shortage of healthcare professionals. Almost, seventy per cent of the population in India are rural. The infrastructure in India, similar to other developing countries, is erratic and differs throughout the country. Similarly, the ICT infrastructure is developed in the urban areas whereas there are insufficient ICT facilities in the rural areas. As telehealth depends on the utilisation of ICT infrastructure it is essential to conduct a study to find out the determinants of ICT adoption in the Indian telehealth environment. Moreover, as evident from relevant literature, telehealth is in a nascent stage in India, with most of the projects currently in a pilot study level. As such, it would be practical to conduct the study from an organisational point of view because the organisational adoption of ICT will eventually foster the implementation of telehealth in the domain of Indian healthcare. The study focuses on developing a conceptual framework of ICT adoption in the Indian telehealth environment, as limited research has been conducted in this area. The study highlighted the drivers and barriers of telehealth around the world, reviewed the relevant models of ICT adoption and generated themes to develop the conceptual framework. Empirical testing of the conceptual framework may have the potential to establish and confirm the determinants of ICT adoption in the Indian telehealth environment. The conceptual framework may be utilised for governmental and non-governmental policy level decision making

The aim of this study was to examine the critical factors affecting the adoption of mobile technologies in healthcare system of Bangladesh. Using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model as a theoretical framework, this study incorporates perceived reliability, price value as new factors that reflects the user’s reliability, beliefs and monetary concerns in the acceptance of mHealth services in the context of Bangladesh. A cross sectional survey questionnaire was used to collect data from 296 participants from general mHealth users in Bangladesh. The results demonstrate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition & perceived reliability had significant influence on the intention to use mHealth services in Bangladesh. Surprisingly, price value (p\u3e0.05) had no significant influence on adoption of mHealth services. The insights from this study could benefit mHealth services providers, agencies and policy maker in implementing more effective marketing strategies to increase the acceptability of this service. With the proposed model, it is possible to develop better mHealth services to meet the requirements of the common people based on widely available Smartphone

This study aims to investigate factors impacting healthcare consumers’ acceptance of National Electronic Health Records (NEHRs) in Saudi Arabia. The study incorporated perceived security concerns and trust factors into the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. A questionnaire survey was distributed among Saudi citizens to gain their perceptions, and 794 valid responses were collected. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyse the collected data. Both the measurement model and structural model proved a good fit to the research data. All research hypotheses were supported at the significance level of p \u3c 0.001 except the impact of social influence, which was significant at the level of p \u3c 0.005. The proposed model explained 56% of the variance in behavioural intention, implying the presence of additional factors that are not yet identified. A better understanding of these influential factors could prompt policymakers to effectively plan for and enhance the acceptance and use of NEHRs

Resistance of multiple stakeholders to e-health innovations: Integration of fundamental insights and guiding research paths

Consumer/user resistance is considered a key factor responsible for the failure of digital innovations. Yet, existing scholarship has not given it due attention while examining user responses to e-health innovations. The present study addressed this need by consolidating the existing findings to provide a platform to motivate future research. We used a systematic literature review (SLR) approach to identify and analyze the relevant literature. To execute the SLR, we first specified a stringent search protocol with specific inclusion and exclusion criteria to identify relevant studies. Thereafter, we undertook an in-depth analysis of 72 congruent studies, thus presenting a comprehensive structure of findings, gaps, and opportunities for future research. Specifically, we mapped the relevant literature to elucidate the nature and causes of resistance offered by three key constituent groups of the healthcare ecosystem—patients, healthcare organizational actors, and other stakeholders. Finally, based on the understanding acquired through our critical synthesis, we formulated a conceptual framework, classifying user resistance into micro, meso, and macro barriers which provide context to the interventions and strategies required to counter resistance and motivate adoption, continued usage, and positive recommendation intent. Being the first SLR in the area to present a multi-stakeholder perspective, our study offers fine-grained insights for hospital management, policymakers, and community leaders to develop an effective plan of action to overcome barriers that impede the diffusion of e-health innovations.publishedVersionPaid open acces

With the rapid usage rate of mobile phone and advances in healthcare technology, as well as current concerns arise over public’s health, mobile health are attracting the attention of more and more people. Although previous studies on the adoption of mobile services are quite extensive, few focus on public users’ adoption of mobile health service (MHS). In this study, we examine the determinants of user adoption of MHS based on Technology acceptance model (TAM). The findings confirm that perceived usefulness positively affect users’ attitude toward MHS, perceived service availability significantly impact on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, perceived usefulness and attitude directly enhance intention
