    Enterprises in the agri-food sector are increasingly confronted with the need to adjust their production processes and operations to the requirements of quality systems and to integrate these requirements into their own individual integrated process management system. Integra- tion efforts are further aggravated by correlations of quality system requirements with other process related requirements. First initiatives have started to benchmark the requirements of different quality systems to have an analyse about the level of the same requirements. Output of this article will be a description of an advisory model (database model with computerized support), which presents a support tool for the implementation of quality, environ- mental and occupational health systems into the individual integrated (process) management system of enterprises.     META-ANALYSIS OF QUALITY STANDARDS FOR TEACHER EDUCATION

    The paper in hand deals with meta-analysis of quality indicators of Teacher Education. The study was designed to determine the actual standards for quality teacher education, to compare the national quality standards of teacher education with international standards, to enlist the merits and demerits of quality standards of teacher education in Pakistan and to give some suggestions for improving teacher education standards in Pakistan. Method of the study was critically reviewing and analyzing the quality indicators practiced by international Teacher Education councils and various global universities, HEC & NACTE standards for quality education. The results and findings were the existing of the gap in the scope of quality indicators, the difference in the number of indicators and unequal treatment to some indicators with reference to its significance. The study recommends harmonized scope in the quality of indicators, review and updating the indicators in the context of Pakistani educational setting, equal weighting may be awarded irrespective of the nature and body of the significant level of the indicators. Pakistani standards may be reviewed thoroughly and it may be updated in light of international standards for quality teachers’ education.  It was concluded that Monitoring and evaluation system for the implementation of the quality standards may be regularized and be made biased free, so that a quality system for teacher education be established in the country

    As a university located in town the industrial, commercial, maritime and education, University of Surabaya (UBAYA) is very concerned about the success of the business and industry community, particularly in the city of Surabaya and surrounding areas. One of univeritas mission is to produce graduates who are competent in accordance with the needs of business and industry. Needs of the business and industry community are implementation both of Indonesia National Standard (SNI) or International Standard (ISO). Therefore, graduates UBAYA in the future should be more understanding and have skills related to the standards. This paper addressed about UBAYA experience in implementation on education about standardization starts from the scope UBAYA themselves by implementing the international standards of quality management system ISO 9001:2008, inserting the material of standardizing or content of the standardization into the curriculum or subjects, then together with National Standardization Agency (BSN) and the East Java Province participated promoting standard to schools, colleges, community of business and industry. All these things are done also in order to fulfill one mission UBAYA.     The impact of ias/ifrs on the romanian accounting rules

    The accounting standardization process is in progress at international regional level, more and more countries have reached the same conclusion of enforcing high quality accounting standards like IAS/IFRS. At international level, on one hand it is thought to implement IASB's international standards and on the other hand, to converge American standards with IASB standards. There are various reasons for Romania adopting the IASB reference system, but most of them are subordinated to the central aim, respectively EU accession. There are also some secondary reasons required by the IAS/IFRS transition, which in our country is less present than in more economic developed countries. In our country accountancy is subordinated to the taxation system, financing still comes prevalent from banks and very few Romanian companies are listed on foreign capital markets. According to this, starting with 2006 the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as presented and published by the International Accounting Standards Board, shall be applied in Romania by the following categories of companies: trade companies applying OMF no. 94/2001, loan institutions, assurance and reassurance companies, institutions supervised by the National Commission for Movable Assets, independent public companies and other state owned companies, companies to be consolidated by a company applying IFRS standards, companies, which at the end of the previous year fulfilled two of the following three criteria: turnover exceeding EUR 7.3 Million, total assets over EUR 3.65 Million, average number of employees over 50, as well as other companies subject to the Finance Ministry’s approval.romanian accounting rules, IAS/IFRS, romanian accounting normalization body, capital market

    This study examines the international requirements of audit quality assurance and focuses on the challenges faced by the newest economy in the region, Kosovo, in implementation of same.   This study focuses on the monitoring of compliance by business organizations in Kosovo with the International Financial Reporting Standards and Kosovo Accounting Standards as appropriate , and the impact that this compliance or non compliance has in the economy. In addition this study examines compliance with International Standards of Auditing by auditors and reviews the quality of the audit process in the broader context of the requirements for audit quality assurance.   It is found that there are weaknesses in almost all elements of Kosovo’s corporate financial reporting and auditing regime, which is not dissimilar, linked to larger challenges faced by all former Yugoslav economies in transitioning to the new market economic system.   The economies of former Yugoslavia face similar challenges in integration with the European Union’s economic and financial system, because of the unique shared characteristics of the former Yugoslav system.  In parallel with the economic transitional reforms undertaken within the region, the global financial reporting and auditing system has been changed, with a convergence to International financial reporting standards, international standards of auditing and a new emphasis on audit quality assurance and external oversight mechanisms to sustain it. Though Kosovo is not alone within the region in addressing the reforms required to integrate the economy fully into the EU system, the study reveals both opportunities and challenges unique to Kosovo and makes recommendations for reform

    Abstract Analytical laboratory results greatly influence medical diagnosis, about 70% of medical decisions are based on laboratory results. Quality assurance and quality control are designed to detect and correct errors in a laboratory's analytical process to ensure both the reliability and accuracy of test results. Unreliable performance can result in misdiagnosis and delayed treatment. Furthermore, improved quality guarantees increased productivity at a lower cost. Quality assurance programmes include internal quality control, external quality assessment, proficiency surveillance and standardization. It is necessary to try to ensure compliance with the requirements of the standards at all levels of the process. The sources of these standards are the International Standards Organization (ISO), national standards bodies, guidelines from professional organisations, accreditation bodies and governmental regulations. Laboratory networks increase the performance of laboratories in support of diagnostic screening programme. It is essential that genetic laboratories of a network have procedures underpinned by a robust quality assurance system to minimize errors and to reassure the clinicians and the patients that international standards are being met. This article provides an overview of the bases of quality assurance and its importance in genetic tests and it reports the EBTNA quality assurance system which is a clear and simple system available for access to adequate standardization of a genetic laboratory's network

    Quality Management System ISO (International Standards Organization) 9001: 2008 is a system used to set the policy or an official statement by top management related to the care and direction of the organization in the field of quality. Vocational High School Bandung 5 certified by the International Standards Organization 9001: 2008. Then, researchers conducted a study on the application of the Quality Management System International Standards Organization 9001: 2008 in education, especially in the workshop and Building Engineering and Stone ConcreteConstruction Engineering Vocational High School 5 Bandung. In the implementation of the Management System of Quality International Standards Organization 9001: 2008 are still complaints from students and teachers at the workshop in terms of facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of this research among which determine the application of Quality Management System International Standards Organization 9001: 2008 in the establishment of workshops on management skills Stone Concrete Construction Engineering and Building Engineering Vocational High School 5 Bandung. And to know the students in the learning at workshop discipline which has implemented the International Standards Organization 9001: 2008. This research used a descriptive-quantitative method. The variable in thisresearch is a single variable. Source of data obtained by researchers that informant data sources, documents, and observations. The sample of this research using a sample of 99 random with a sample of respondents to the questionnaire, and to interview 4 respondents. Technique data collecting questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. In this research the validity of the data by using the Pearson product moment formula. Based on the analysis and discussion in this research it can be concluded that the Vocational High School 5 Bandung has implemented a Quality Management System International Standards Organization 9001: 2008, especially in the workshop Building Engineering and StoneConcreteConstruction Engineering. So by implementing a Quality Management System International Standards Organization 9001: 2008 on school students have carried out the order or has run discipline. Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO (International Standard Organization) 9001:2008 adalah sistem yang digunakan untuk menetapkan kebijakan (policy) atau pernyataan resmi oleh manajemen puncak berkaitan dengan perhatian dan arah organisasinya dibidang mutu. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 5 Bandung yang telah mendapatkan sertifikat International Standard Organization 9001 : 2008. Maka, peneliti melakukan penelitian mengenai penerapan Sistem Manajemen Mutu International Standard Organization 9001:2008 dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan terutama pada workshop Teknik Gambar Bangunan dan Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 5 Bandung. Dalam implementasi Sistem Manjemen Mutu International Standard Organization 9001:2008 masih adanya keluhan dari siswa-siswi dan guru di workshop dari segi sarana dan prasarana. Tujuan penelitian ini diantarnya mengetahui penerapan Sistem Manajemen Mutu International Standard Organization 9001:2008 dalam penetapan manajemen penyelenggaraan workshop pada keahlian Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton dan Teknik Gambar Bangunan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 5 Bandung. Dan untuk mengetahui kedisiplinan siswa pada pembelajaran diworkshop yang telah menerapkan International Standard Organization 9001:2008. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel tunggal. Sumber data yang diperoleh peneliti yaitu sumber data informan, dokumen, dan observasi. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan sampel Randomm dengan jumlah sampel 99 responden untuk angket, dan untuk wawancara 4 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini validitas data dengan menggunakan rumus pearson product moment . Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 5 Bandung sudah mengimplementasikan Sistem Manajemen Mutu International Standard Organization 9001:2008 khususnya dalam workshop Teknik Gambar Bangunan dan Teknik Konstruksi Batu Beton. Maka dengan mengimplementasikan Sistem Manajemen Mutu International Standard Organization 9001:2008 pada sekolah siswa telah melaksanakan tata tertib atau telah menjalankan kedisiplinan.
