    To formulate a conceptual model for innovation: Reframing theoretical constructs of bim adoption within sme organisations

The Construction industry is facing a paradigm shift in the adoption of new innovative ways of designing and delivering of projects. This innovative process includes building information modelling (BIM) which have shown significant impact on efficiency and effectiveness during a project development process within the construction industry. However, the shift to its acceptance, adoption and implementation in the emerging markets has brought distortion in the organisational culture, behaviour, and business processes of small medium enterprises (SMEs). This is often associated to the lack of clear orientation of the impact of BIM adoption to the firms. Although several theories have explained different concept relating to acceptance of innovative technologies within an organisation, however, it is crucial to understand this concept through the lens of BIM. Thus, this paper identifies the different theories concerning BIM acceptance within organisations and highlights the relationship between different factors that influence BIM acceptance within organisations. This was achieved by identifying the key factors that influence the acceptance of innovation and the process of adopting an innovation within organisations. The study involved a two-step analysis; systematic literature review and theoretical formulation. The systematic literature review was used to identify various theories and models that explains the acceptance process and behaviour of individuals during adoption of new innovations within SMEs organisations. The theoretical formulation was achieved by synthesizing the key influencing factors and indicators identified from the systematic literature review which were categorised into four groups namely; organisation, human, technology and relationship. The output was consolidated to form the conceptual model that would be the basis of further research and will help in understanding the relationship between factors that influence BIM acceptance process within SMEs organisation in the construction industry

    Secure services integration and edge computing for effective beekeeping

    Many of the issues that require resolution are not easy to mitigate just from the technology perspective. The ancestral learned logic of processes, the people traditions, and many other variants define inner contexts that make the adhesion and efficient use of information technologies a delicate process. The enormous geographical dispersion of the beekeeping economic activity, the mostly amateur profile of beekeepers, and the specificity in the traditional way as the activity is managed, compromises the applicability of integrative measures based on ICTE. Efficient and integrated management of a no-professionalized economic activity depends on two basic principles: i) the existence of effective tools capable of managing that activity and its synergies with other related activities, and ii) an infrastructure (technological, procedural, legal) that supports services properly profiled for any actor in that activity. This paper describes the work-in-process sBee - Smart Beekeeping, an applied research project that sought to integrate emerging technologies on the innovative management of critical issues that beekeeping needs to overcome. Electronic devices, Internet-of-things, advanced management algorithms, and innovative visualization services were explored. The global system architecture, its supporting services, and the communication infrastructure are here described. The integration of both internet-of-things and communications services, with the common beekeeping?s management tasks, levered a proposal for improving this activity to become more effective.     Application of TOPSIS for Solving Optimal Brand Communication Effect on the Portal

    [[abstract]]Based on the cognitive psychology of selective attention and priming effect, and visual display effect, this research aims to explore how banner advertisements in the portal sites affect brand communication after end user enter the web. This study uses online SSI Web questionnaire and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The prime age group selection considers the brand communication effect simultaneously from involvement, advertising attitude, purchase intention and attractiveness of advertisement content. Finally, TOPSIS are presented as an empirical example in brand communication effect on the web portal. The result indicates that the advertising through portal site has optimal brand communication effect on age between 20 to 29 years. The results can help business to make efficient decision.     Web technology development is growing rapidly because all technology's core is to make it easier for other people to create a web or find any information via the web. This study aims to design an online application/website specifically for local products that focus on fashion, especially those that have not been touched by online media at all, such as in Pasar Baru and Pasar Andir, located in the city of Bandung. This research used descriptive with a qualitative approach. This study indicates that a website can be used as a promotional medium for local clothing stores to expand marketing reach. Besides that, it can also improve the image of the local clothing company. More than that, of course, visitors can find out the latest types of branded clothing products and make sales transactions with consumers without visiting the store in person. With this website, of course, it will make it easier for customers to make purchase transactions at local brand clothing stores that are not widely known

    Exploring The Relationship among E-Service Quality, E-Trust, E-Satisfaction and Loyalty at Higher Education Institutions

    We examine the effect of e-service quality through E-S-QUAL dimensions of efficiency, fulfilment, system availability, and privacy on e-trust, e-satisfaction and loyalty of students from public and private universities in Jakarta, Indonesia. A total of 304 undergraduates was employed as respondents, and the hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The findings revealed that efficiency and fulfilment significantly affect e-satisfaction, while fulfilment and privacy significantly affect e-trust. Fulfilment has the most substantial effect on e-satisfaction and e-trust that supports prior studies. Moreover, the relationships between e-trust, e-satisfaction, and loyalty are confirmed. Theoretical and managerial implications are presented

    An integer programming approach for Balancing and Scheduling in Extended Manufacturing Environment

    In the fiercely competitive era induced by expansion of open business archetypes, the managerial aspects of Extended Manufacturing Environments (EMEs) are experiencing growing concerns. There is no scope of leaving a possible operational improvement unexplored. For enhanced operational efficiency and capacity utilization the balancing and scheduling problems of EMEs are, therefore, rightfully considered and an integer programme is proposed in this paper. The model is designed in a spread sheet and solved through What'sBest optimizer. The model capabilities is assessed through a test problem.
