Performance evaluation of Map-reduce jar pig hive and spark with machine learning using big data
Big data is the biggest challenges as we need huge processing power system and good algorithms to make an decision. We need Hadoop environment with pig hive, machine learning and hadoopecosystem components. The data comes from industries. Many devices around us and sensor, and from social media sites. According to McKinsey There will be a shortage of 15000000 big data professionals by the end of 2020. There are lots of technologies to solve the problem of big data Storage and processing. Such technologies are Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and many more. Here we analyse the processing speed for the 4GB data on cloudx lab with Hadoop mapreduce with varing mappers and reducers and with pig script and Hive querries and spark environment along with machine learning technology and from the results we can say that machine learning with Hadoop will enhance the processing performance along with with spark, and also we can say that spark is better than Hadoop mapreduce pig and hive, spark with hive and machine learning will be the best performance enhanced compared with pig and hive, Hadoop mapreduce jar
Towards A Well-Secured Electronic Health Record in the Health Cloud
The major concerns for most cloud implementers particularly in the health care industry have remained data security
and privacy. A prominent and major threat that constitutes a hurdle for practitioners within the health industry from exploiting and
benefiting from the gains of cloud computing is the fear of theft of patients health data in the cloud. Investigations and surveys
have revealed that most practitioners in the health care industry are concerned about the risk of health data mix-up amongst the
various cloud providers, hacking to comprise the cloud platform and theft of vital patientsâ health data.An overview of the
diverse issues relating to health data privacy and overall security in the cloud are presented in this technical report. Based on
identifed secure access requirements, an encryption-based eHR security model for securing and enforcing authorised access to
electronic health data (records), eHR is also presented. It highlights three core functionalities for managing issues relating to
health data privacy and security of eHR in health care cloud
Business Integration as a Service
This paper presents Business Integration as a Service (BIaS) which enables connections between services operating in the Cloud. BIaS integrates different services and business activities to achieve a streamline process. We illustrate this integration using two services; Return on Investment (ROI) Measurement as a Service (RMaaS) and Risk Analysis as a Service (RAaaS) in two case studies at the University of Southampton and Vodafone/Apple. The University of Southampton case study demonstrates the cost-savings and the risk analysis achieved, so two services can work as a single service. The Vodafone/Apple case study illustrates statistical analysis and 3D Visualisation of expected revenue and associated risk. These two cases confirm the benefits of BIaS adoption, including cost reduction and improvements in efficiency and risk analysis. Implementation of BIaS in other organisations is also discussed. Important data arising from the integration of RMaaS and RAaaS are useful for management of University of Southampton and potential and current investors for Vodafone/Apple
On Evaluating Commercial Cloud Services: A Systematic Review
Background: Cloud Computing is increasingly booming in industry with many
competing providers and services. Accordingly, evaluation of commercial Cloud
services is necessary. However, the existing evaluation studies are relatively
chaotic. There exists tremendous confusion and gap between practices and theory
about Cloud services evaluation. Aim: To facilitate relieving the
aforementioned chaos, this work aims to synthesize the existing evaluation
implementations to outline the state-of-the-practice and also identify research
opportunities in Cloud services evaluation. Method: Based on a conceptual
evaluation model comprising six steps, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR)
method was employed to collect relevant evidence to investigate the Cloud
services evaluation step by step. Results: This SLR identified 82 relevant
evaluation studies. The overall data collected from these studies essentially
represent the current practical landscape of implementing Cloud services
evaluation, and in turn can be reused to facilitate future evaluation work.
Conclusions: Evaluation of commercial Cloud services has become a world-wide
research topic. Some of the findings of this SLR identify several research gaps
in the area of Cloud services evaluation (e.g., the Elasticity and Security
evaluation of commercial Cloud services could be a long-term challenge), while
some other findings suggest the trend of applying commercial Cloud services
(e.g., compared with PaaS, IaaS seems more suitable for customers and is
particularly important in industry). This SLR study itself also confirms some
previous experiences and reveals new Evidence-Based Software Engineering (EBSE)
