On solving fuzzy delay differential equation using bezier curves
In this article, we plan to use Bezier curves method to solve linear fuzzy delay differential equations. A Bezier curves method is presented and modified to solve fuzzy delay problems taking the advantages of the fuzzy set theory properties. The approximate solution with different degrees is compared to the exact solution to confirm that the linear fuzzy delay differential equations process is accurate and efficient. Numerical example is explained and analyzed involved first order linear fuzzy delay differential equations to demonstrate these proper features of this proposed problem
FUZZY DELAY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH HYBRID SECOND AND THIRD ORDERS RUNGE-KUTTA METHOD
This paper considers fuzzy delay differential equations with known statedelays. A dynamic problem is formulated by time-delay differential equations and an efficient scheme using a hybrid second and third orders Runge-Kutta method is developed and applied. Runge-Kutta is well-established methods and can be easily modified to overcome the discontinuities, which occur in delay differential equations. Our objective is to develop a scheme for solving fuzzy delay differential equations. A numerical example was run, and the solutions were validated with the exact solution. The numerical results from C program will show that the hybrid Runge-Kutta scheme able to calculate the fuzzy solutions successfully
Lp-calculus approach to the random autonomous linear differential equation with discrete delay
[EN] In this paper, we provide a full probabilistic study of the random autonomous linear differential equation with discrete delay , with initial condition x(t)=g(t), -t0. The coefficients a and b are assumed to be random variables, while the initial condition g(t) is taken as a stochastic process. Using Lp-calculus, we prove that, under certain conditions, the deterministic solution constructed with the method of steps that involves the delayed exponential function is an Lp-solution too. An analysis of Lp-convergence when the delay tends to 0 is also performed in detail. This work has been supported by the Spanish Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad Grant MTM2017-89664-P. H ? filtering for stochastic singular fuzzy systems with time-varying delay
This paper considers the H? filtering problem
for stochastic singular fuzzy systems with timevarying
delay. We assume that the state and measurement
are corrupted by stochastic uncertain exogenous
disturbance and that the system dynamic is modeled
by Ito-type stochastic differential equations. Based on
an auxiliary vector and an integral inequality, a set of
delay-dependent sufficient conditions is established,
which ensures that the filtering error system is e?t -
weighted integral input-to-state stable in mean (iISSiM).
A fuzzy filter is designed such that the filtering
error system is impulse-free, e?t -weighted iISSiM and
the H? attenuation level from disturbance to estimation
error is belowa prescribed scalar.Aset of sufficient
conditions for the solvability of the H? filtering problem
is obtained in terms of a new type of Lyapunov
function and a set of linear matrix inequalities. Simulation
examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness
of the proposed filtering approach developed in
this paper
Numerical solution of fuzzy delay differential equations under generalized differentiability by Euler's method
In this paper, we interpret a fuzzy delay differential equations using the concept of generalized differentiability. Using the Generalized Characterization Theorem, we investigate the problem of finding a numerical approximation of solutions. The Euler approximation method is implemented and its error analysis is discussed. The applicability of the theoretical results is illustrated with some examples
Lp-solution to the random linear delay differential equation with stochastic forcing term
[EN] This paper aims at extending a previous contribution dealing with the random autonomous-homogeneous linear differential equation with discrete delay tau > 0, by adding a random forcing term f(t) that varies with time: x'(t) = ax(t) + bx(t-tau) + f(t), t >= 0, with initial condition x(t) = g(t), -tau <= t <= 0. The coefficients a and b are assumed to be random variables, while the forcing term f(t) and the initial condition g(t) are stochastic processes on their respective time domains. The equation is regarded in the Lebesgue space L-p of random variables with finite p-th moment. The deterministic solution constructed with the method of steps and the method of variation of constants, which involves the delayed exponential function, is proved to be an L-p-solution, under certain assumptions on the random data. This proof requires the extension of the deterministic Leibniz's integral rule for differentiation to the random scenario. Finally, we also prove that, when the delay tau tends to 0, the random delay equation tends in L-p to a random equation with no delay. Numerical experiments illustrate how our methodology permits determining the main statistics of the solution process, thereby allowing for uncertainty quantification. This work has been supported by the Spanish Ministerio de Economia, Industria y Competitividad (MINECO), the Agencia Estatal de Investigacion (AEI) and Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER UE) grant MTM2017-89664-P.Cortés, J.; Jornet, M. In this note, the T-S fuzzy model approach is exploited to establish stability criteria for a class of nonlinear stochastic systems with time delay. Sufficient conditions are derived in the format of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), such that for all admissible parameter uncertainties, the overall fuzzy system is stochastically exponentially stable in the mean square, independent of the time delay. Therefore, with the numerically attractive Matlab LMI toolbox, the robust stability of the uncertain stochastic fuzzy systems with time delays can be easily checked

Robust passivity and passification of stochastic fuzzy time-delay systems
The official published version can be obtained from the link below. In this paper, the passivity and passification problems are investigated for a class of uncertain stochastic fuzzy systems with time-varying delays. The fuzzy system is based on the Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) model that is often used to represent the complex nonlinear systems in terms of fuzzy sets and fuzzy reasoning. To reflect more realistic dynamical behaviors of the system, both the parameter uncertainties and the stochastic disturbances are considered, where the parameter uncertainties enter into all the system matrices and the stochastic disturbances are given in the form of a Brownian motion. We first propose the definition of robust passivity in the sense of expectation. Then, by utilizing the Lyapunov functional method, the Itô differential rule and the matrix analysis techniques, we establish several sufficient criteria such that, for all admissible parameter uncertainties and stochastic disturbances, the closed-loop stochastic fuzzy time-delay system is robustly passive in the sense of expectation. The derived criteria, which are either delay-independent or delay-dependent, are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) that can be easily checked by using the standard numerical software. Illustrative examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed results. This work was supported by the Teaching and Research Fund for Excellent Young Teachers at Southeast University of China, the Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education for New Teachers 200802861044, the National Natural Science Foundation of China under Grant 60804028 and the Royal Society of the United Kingdom
