Formal Solutions of a Class of Pfaffian Systems in Two Variables
In this paper, we present an algorithm which computes a fundamental matrix of
formal solutions of completely integrable Pfaffian systems with normal
crossings in two variables, based on (Barkatou, 1997). A first step was set in
(Barkatou-LeRoux, 2006) where the problem of rank reduction was tackled via the
approach of (Levelt, 1991). We give instead a Moser-based approach. And, as a
complementary step, we associate to our problem a system of ordinary linear
singular differential equations from which the formal invariants can be
efficiently derived via the package ISOLDE, implemented in the computer algebra
system Maple.Comment: Keywords: Linear systems of partial differential equations, Pfaffian

An extension of heat hierarchy
We propose a formally completely integrable extension of heat hierarchy based
on the space of symmetries isomorphic to the Weyl algebra . The
extended heat hierarchy will be the basic model for the analysis of the
extension of KP hierarchy, and other integrable equations.Comment: This note is incorporated into arXiv:1409.7024, arXiv:1408.324
Superposition Formulas for Darboux Integrable Exterior Differential Systems
In this paper we present a far-reaching generalization of E. Vessiot's
analysis of the Darboux integrable partial differential equations in one
dependent and two independent variables. Our approach provides new insights
into this classical method, uncovers the fundamental geometric invariants of
Darboux integrable systems, and provides for systematic, algorithmic
integration of such systems. This work is formulated within the general
framework of Pfaffian exterior differential systems and, as such, has
applications well beyond those currently found in the literature. In
particular, our integration method is applicable to systems of hyperbolic PDE
such as the Toda lattice equations, 2 dimensional wave maps and systems of
overdetermined PDE.Comment: 80 page report. Updated version with some new sections, and major
