Mathematical Foundations of Consciousness
We employ the Zermelo-Fraenkel Axioms that characterize sets as mathematical
primitives. The Anti-foundation Axiom plays a significant role in our
development, since among other of its features, its replacement for the Axiom
of Foundation in the Zermelo-Fraenkel Axioms motivates Platonic
interpretations. These interpretations also depend on such allied notions for
sets as pictures, graphs, decorations, labelings and various mappings that we
use. A syntax and semantics of operators acting on sets is developed. Such
features enable construction of a theory of non-well-founded sets that we use
to frame mathematical foundations of consciousness. To do this we introduce a
supplementary axiomatic system that characterizes experience and consciousness
as primitives. The new axioms proceed through characterization of so- called
consciousness operators. The Russell operator plays a central role and is shown
to be one example of a consciousness operator. Neural networks supply striking
examples of non-well-founded graphs the decorations of which generate
associated sets, each with a Platonic aspect. Employing our foundations, we
show how the supervening of consciousness on its neural correlates in the brain
enables the framing of a theory of consciousness by applying appropriate
consciousness operators to the generated sets in question

Speed control of separately excited dc motor using artificial intelligent approach
This paper presents the ability of Artificial Intelligent Neural Network ANNs for the
separately excited dc motor drives. The mathematical model of the motor and neural
network algorithm is derived. The controller consists two parts which is designed to
estimate of motor speed and the other is which to generate a control signal for a
converter. The separately excited dc motor has some advantages compare to the
others type of motors and there are some special qualities that have in ANNs and
because of that, ANNs can be trained to display the nonlinear relationship that the
conventional tools could not implemented such as proportional-integral-differential
(PID) controller. A neural network controller with learning technique based on back
propagation algorithm is developed. These two neural are training by LevenbergMarquardt. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by develop
simulation model in MATLAB-Simulink program. The simulation results are
presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and the proposed of this neural network
controller produce significant improvement control performance and advantages of
the control system DC motor with ANNs in comparison to the conventional
controller without using ANNs
Intergenerational Education for Social Inclusion and Solidarity: The Case Study of the EU Funded Project "Connecting Generations"
This paper reflects on lessons learned from a validated model of international collaboration based on research and practice. During the European Year for Active Ageing, a partnership of seven organizations from the European Union plus Turkey implemented the Lifelong Learning Programme partnership “Connecting Generations‘ which involved universities, non-governmental organizations, third age Universities and municipalities in collaboration with local communities. Reckoning that Europe has dramatically changed in its demographic composition and is facing brand new challenges regarding intergenerational and intercultural solidarity, each partner formulated and tested innovative and creative practices that could enhance better collaboration and mutual understanding between youth and senior citizens, toward a more inclusive Europe for all. Several innovative local practices have experimented, attentively systematized and peer-valuated among the partners. On the basis of a shared theoretical framework coherent with EU and Europe and Training 2020 Strategy, an action-research approach was adopted throughout the project in order to understand common features that have been replicated and scaled up since today
