The amount of trade conducted electronically has grown dramatically since the wide introduction of the Internet. A wide variety of commerce is conducted in this way, including things such as electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, e-marketing, online marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (ED!), automated inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. Modem electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web at least at some point in the transaction's lifecycle, although it can encompass a wider range of technologies such as e-mail as well. Online Store system is one of the electronic commerce or ( e-commerce) system, but it is integrated with Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML). The system is built to fulfill the requirement of market demands today in order to provide the fascinate way of doing shopping. When a small business expands to large one and need to use the internet to do shopping, then the system is needed. It provides user with customization of the products to place order of the items they like to buy and it will generate the shipping document for future use.     Securing Handover in Wireless IP Networks

    In wireless and mobile networks, handover is a complex process that involves multiple layers of protocol and security executions. With the growing popularity of real time communication services such as Voice of IP, a great challenge faced by handover nowadays comes from the impact of security implementations that can cause performance degradation especially for mobile devices with limited resources. Given the existing networks with heterogeneous wireless access technologies, one essential research question that needs be addressed is how to achieve a balance between security and performance during the handover. The variations of security policy and agreement among different services and network vendors make the topic challenging even more, due to the involvement of commercial and social factors. In order to understand the problems and challenges in this field, we study the properties of handover as well as state of the art security schemes to assist handover in wireless IP networks. Based on our analysis, we define a two-phase model to identify the key procedures of handover security in wireless and mobile networks. Through the model we analyze the performance impact from existing security schemes in terms of handover completion time, throughput, and Quality of Services (QoS). As our endeavor of seeking a balance between handover security and performance, we propose the local administrative domain as a security enhanced localized domain to promote the handover performance. To evaluate the performance improvement in local administrative domain, we implement the security protocols adopted by our proposal in the ns-2 simulation environment and analyze the measurement results based on our simulation test

It has helped contribute to four years in a row of twenty-percent yearly reductions in costs by providing near real-time metrics information, visibility into the details underlying those metrics, and publishing results to provide accountability for continuous improvement efforts. Originally designed for use in a manufacturing cell, its use has since expanded to include project management, engineering, quality, and other functions. This thesis examines how VBS has contributed to internal alignment at Raytheon and explores whether it can fulfill Raytheon's external supply chain coordination needs as well. VBS was successfully upgraded to allow supplier access over Citrix; the next step is to conduct a pilot implementation to test the system in practice. As a "homegrown" system, VBS can be made to do nearly anything, and in time could fulfill Raytheon's supply chain integration needs. In the near term, additional work is likely to be necessary in the areas of data access control, user interface, and extension from stand-alone system to a peer-to-peer information sharing network. The VBS team will also need to continue gathering executive sponsorship and support in order to motivate the necessary change in business processes. A number of lessons applicable to supply chain integration systems in general can be learned from the success of VBS.(cont.) These include: the importance of ensuring client control and security of the data; the potential gains made possible by sharing functionality in addition to data; the need to include information about improvement processes when sharing information; and the critical need that the application remain flexible and responsive to change in user needs.by Akiva Holzer.S.M.M.B.A
