Nonlinear analysis of dynamical complex networks

Examples of such complex networks include the Internet, that is, a network of routers or domains, the World Wide Web (WWW), that is, a network of websites, the brain, that is, a network of neurons, and an organization, that is, a network of people. Since the introduction of the small-world network principle, a great deal of research has been focused on the dependence of the asymptotic behavior of interconnected oscillatory agents on the structural properties of complex networks. It has been found out that the general structure of the interaction network may play a crucial role in the emergence of synchronization phenomena in various fields such as physics, technology, and the life sciences

Almost periodic solutions of retarded SICNNs with functional response on piecewise constant argument
We consider a new model for shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks,
retarded functional differential equations with piecewise constant argument.
The existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solutions are
investigated. An illustrative example is provided.Comment: 24 pages, 1 figur
Stability Analysis for Markovian Jump Neutral Systems with Mixed Delays and Partially Known Transition Rates
The delay-dependent stability problem is studied for Markovian jump neutral systems with partial information on transition probabilities, and the considered delays are mixed and model dependent. By constructing the new stochastic Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, which combined the introduced free matrices with the analysis technique of matrix inequalities, a sufficient condition for the systems with fully known transition rates is
firstly established. Then, making full use of the transition rate matrix, the results are obtained for the other case, and the uncertain neutral Markovian jump system with incomplete transition rates is also considered. Finally, to show the validity of the obtained results, three numerical examples are provided
Exponential synchronization for second-order switched quaternion-valued neural networks with neutral-type and mixed time-varying delays
This article focuses on the global exponential synchronization (GES) for second-order state-dependent switched quaternion-valued neural networks (SOSDSQVNNs) with neutral-type and mixed delays. By proposing some new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) and adopting some inequalities, several new criteria in the shape of algebraic inequalities are proposed to ensure the GES for the concerned system by using hybrid switched controllers (HSCs). Different from the common reducing order and separation ways, this article presents some new LKFs to straightway discuss the GES of the concerned system based on non-reduction order and nonseparation strategies. Ultimately, an example is provided to validate the effectiveness of the theoretical outcomes
