    Global exponential stability of nonautonomous neural network models with unbounded delays

    For a nonautonomous class of n-dimensional di erential system with in nite delays, we give su cient conditions for its global exponential stability, without showing the existence of an equilibrium point, or a periodic solution, or an almost periodic solution. We apply our main result to several concrete neural network models, studied in the literature, and a comparison of results is given. Contrary to usual in the literature about neural networks, the assumption of bounded coe cients is not need to obtain the global exponential stability.     Global exponential stability of nonautonomous neural network models with continuous distributed delays

    For a family of non-autonomous differential equations with distributed delays, we give sufficient conditions for the global exponential stability of an equilibrium point. This family includes most of the delayed models of neural networks of Hopfield type, with time-varying coefficients and distributed delays. For these models, we establish sufficient conditions for their global exponential stability. The existence and global exponential stability of a periodic solution is also addressed.     Nonlinear dynamics of full-range CNNs with time-varying delays and variable coefficients

    In the article, the dynamical behaviours of the full-range cellular neural networks (FRCNNs) with variable coefficients and time-varying delays are considered. Firstly, the improved model of the FRCNNs is proposed, and the existence and uniqueness of the solution are studied by means of differential inclusions and set-valued analysis. Secondly, by using the Hardy inequality, the matrix analysis, and the Lyapunov functional method, we get some criteria for achieving the globally exponential stability (GES). Finally, some examples are provided to verify the correctness of the theoretical results

    Asymptotic stability for neural networks with mixed time-delays: The discrete-time case

The official published version can be obtained from the link - Copyright 2009 Elsevier LtdThis paper is concerned with the stability analysis problem for a new class of discrete-time recurrent neural networks with mixed time-delays. The mixed time-delays that consist of both the discrete and distributed time-delays are addressed, for the first time, when analyzing the asymptotic stability for discrete-time neural networks. The activation functions are not required to be differentiable or strictly monotonic. The existence of the equilibrium point is first proved under mild conditions. By constructing a new Lyapnuov–Krasovskii functional, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to establish sufficient conditions for the discrete-time neural networks to be globally asymptotically stable. As an extension, we further consider the stability analysis problem for the same class of neural networks but with state-dependent stochastic disturbances. All the conditions obtained are expressed in terms of LMIs whose feasibility can be easily checked by using the numerically efficient Matlab LMI Toolbox.     Generalized non-autonomous Cohen-Grossberg neural network model

    In the present paper, we investigate both the global exponential stability and the existence of a periodic solution of a general differential equation with unbounded distributed delays. The main stability criterion depends on the dominance of the non-delay terms over the delay terms. The criterion for the existence of a periodic solution is obtained with the application of the coincide degree theorem. We use the main results to get criteria for the existence and global exponential stability of periodic solutions of a generalized higher-order periodic Cohen-Grossberg neural network model with discrete-time varying delays and infinite distributed delays. Additionally, we provide a comparison with the results in the literature and a numerical simulation to illustrate the effectiveness of some of our results.Comment: 30 page
