Recent Trends in Computational Intelligence
Traditional models struggle to cope with complexity, noise, and the existence of a changing environment, while Computational Intelligence (CI) offers solutions to complicated problems as well as reverse problems. The main feature of CI is adaptability, spanning the fields of machine learning and computational neuroscience. CI also comprises biologically-inspired technologies such as the intellect of swarm as part of evolutionary computation and encompassing wider areas such as image processing, data collection, and natural language processing. This book aims to discuss the usage of CI for optimal solving of various applications proving its wide reach and relevance. Bounding of optimization methods and data mining strategies make a strong and reliable prediction tool for handling real-life applications
Recent Advances in Cellular D2D Communications
Device-to-device (D2D) communications have attracted a great deal of attention from researchers in recent years. It is a promising technique for offloading local traffic from cellular base stations by allowing local devices, in physical proximity, to communicate directly with each other. Furthermore, through relaying, D2D is also a promising approach to enhancing service coverage at cell edges or in black spots. However, there are many challenges to realizing the full benefits of D2D. For one, minimizing the interference between legacy cellular and D2D users operating in underlay mode is still an active research issue. With the 5th generation (5G) communication systems expected to be the main data carrier for the Internet-of-Things (IoT) paradigm, the potential role of D2D and its scalability to support massive IoT devices and their machine-centric (as opposed to human-centric) communications need to be investigated. New challenges have also arisen from new enabling technologies for D2D communications, such as non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and blockchain technologies, which call for new solutions to be proposed. This edited book presents a collection of ten chapters, including one review and nine original research works on addressing many of the aforementioned challenges and beyond

Shortest Route at Dynamic Location with Node Combination-Dijkstra Algorithm
Abstract— Online transportation has become a basic
requirement of the general public in support of all activities to go
to work, school or vacation to the sights. Public transportation
services compete to provide the best service so that consumers
feel comfortable using the services offered, so that all activities
are noticed, one of them is the search for the shortest route in
picking the buyer or delivering to the destination. Node
Combination method can minimize memory usage and this
methode is more optimal when compared to A* and Ant Colony
in the shortest route search like Dijkstra algorithm, but can’t
store the history node that has been passed. Therefore, using
node combination algorithm is very good in searching the
shortest distance is not the shortest route. This paper is
structured to modify the node combination algorithm to solve the
problem of finding the shortest route at the dynamic location
obtained from the transport fleet by displaying the nodes that
have the shortest distance and will be implemented in the
geographic information system in the form of map to facilitate
the use of the system.
