TO SAVE MANKIND: PROPOSED IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO MINING BLOCKCHAINS

The concept of blockchains arouses an admiration due to its reasonableness and ease of implementation within existing infrastructure of Internet. The essential flawisan unacceptably big (from the point of view of ecology and common sence) power waste. The matter concerns the destinies of mankind, because uncontrollably expanding mining blockchains inevitably leads to overheating of Earth and thendeath of all living things. The solution being proposed is based on that follows: mining blockchains is not the goal in itself. The end goal is the reliable safekeeping of some valued constant (invariable) file. We propose not to RESIDE this file in the usual storage medium but to GENERATE it by a proper finite-state automaton. The principal singularity of the automaton circuit is an exeptional testability with respect to all multiple stuck-at faults. It is due to building the circuit according to the Theory of widened long flip-flop. The availis that mining is EXCLUSED as well as consumption of any significant power

AN ADVANCE OF THE THEORY OF THE WIDENED LONG FLIP-FLOP: PROPOSED IS FORMULATING IN THE LANGUAGE VERILOG

The Widened long flip-flop in a quality of a circuit of a finite-state automaton is attractive as a solution with constant asymptotic complexity for the task of checking multiple stack-at faults that has an exponential complexity. The article formulates the theory of Widened long flip-flop in the language of Verilog that provides an easy way to make all sorts of experiments with that theory, starting from validity check with respect to every product one plans to base on this theory. Besides, it reduces the cost of an outlay for designing and “making of metal” for any such product “to a very small amount”.Key words: finite-state automaton, multiple stuck-at faults, mission-critical application, formulating theory in Verilog, experiments with theor

APPLYING AN INTERACTIVE PROGRAM-PROVER LIKE COQ CAN BECOME A NEW STANDARD FOR APPROBING OF PRACTICALLY IMPORTANT THEORETICAL WORKS

There are some theories in the world, which have great scientific and practical importance but have no approbation. In the article the theory of “widened long flip-flop” (that represents scientific and practical interests in the field of building mission-critical computing system) is used as an example to analyze reasons of such situation and ways of solving this issue. These ways appear with powerful interactive program-prover like Coq. Such prover may either prove or do not prove the theory since it depends on human prompts. But if the proof is successful, the correctness of the theory will be guaranteed.Key words: complex theory, approbation, program-prover, Coq, arXiv.orgСтукач Н. Д. Fictive interaction in blended networks in the daily show with Jon Stewart: conceptualizing politican humor discourse not only for entertaining purpouses
