    Acceptance and Use of E-Learning Based on Cloud Computing: The Role of Consumer Innovativeness

    Cloud computing and E-learning are the inevitable trend of computational science in general, and information systems and technologies in specific.However, there are not many studies on the adoption of cloud-based E-learning systems. Moreover, while there are many papers on information system adoption as well as customer innovativeness, the innovativeness and adoption in the same model seems to be rare in the literature. The study combines the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) and consumer innovativeness on the adoption of E-learning systems based on cloud computing. A survey was conducted among 282 cloud-based E-learning participants and analyzed by structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that the adoption of cloud-based E-learning is influenced by performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, and habit. Interestingly, although innovativeness is not significant to use intention, it has a positive effect on E-learning usage which is relatively new in Vietnam

Object-based learning approach has been widely adopted in e-learning.The principle concern in the conventional e-learning models is the inflexibility of the e-learning content to assist the use and management of the learning sources which are highly distributed.Rigidity of e-learning content limits its reusability and shareability.Possessing the ability to deliver strong computing power and secure data storage as services, Cloud computing is a promising computing model to promote innovative changes and add notable values to e-learning landscape.The flexibility and on-demand access to a centralized shared pool of computing resources provided by Cloud computing enables high re-usability and share-ability, hence overcomes the principle concern in e-learning due to the rigidity of e-learning content.This paper describes the design of an object-based e-learning framework embracing Cloud computing.The proposed object-based e learning framework can be used to form a new education domain that shares the Cloud characteristics of elasticity, flexibility, efficiency and reliability.Principal to the framework design is the development of Cloud-based e-learning objects where learners have the flexibility to access, personalize and deploy them in e-learning environment.Cloud-based e-learning objects are highly adaptable, reusable and easy changeable, hence allowing them to be used dynamically with greater customizability and flexibility in e-learning.Adapting Cloud computing into object-based e-learning is believed to be able to create a breakthrough in future dynamic -e-learning development

    Abstract - The Covid-19 pandemic requires that the teaching and learning process be carried out from home by utilizing e-learning. However, not all teachers in Indonesia can use e-learning. The accounting teachers of SMA / SMK Kota Kupang still have a low understanding and ability to use e-learning in learning so that it will harm students. For this reason, this community service is carried out to introduce the use of e-learning based on google classroom and zoom cloud meeting and to improve the ability of SMA / SMK Accounting teachers in Kupang City to use e-learning based on google classroom and zoom cloud meeting in learning activities. teach. Participants who took part in the training were 30 high school / vocational high school accounting teachers in Kupang City. Data collection techniques used in the service include observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the training show that the accounting teachers of SMA / SMK Kota Kupang can independently use e-learning based on google classroom and zoom cloud meeting. However, there are still some teachers aged 50 years and over who still need to be assisted because they have difficulty operating the share screen menu on zoom cloud meetings and assessing student assignments in google classroom.    Abstrak - Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan proses belajar mengajar dilaksanakan dari rumah, dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran e-learning. Akan tetapi tidak semua guru di Indonesia mampu  menggunakan e-learning. Guru-guru Akuntansi SMA/SMK Kota Kupang masih memiliki  pemahaman dan kemampuan yang rendah dalam penggunaan e-learning dalam pembelajaran, sehingga akan berdampak kurang baik bagi siswa. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat  ini dilakukan untuk mengenalkan penggunaan e-learning berbasis google classroom dan zoom cloud meeting, serta meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru Akuntansi SMA/SMK di Kota Kupang dalam menggunakan e-learning berbasis google classroom dan zoom cloud meeting dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan berjumlah 30 orang guru Akuntansi SMA/SMK Kota Kupang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi observasi, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru Akuntansi SMA/SMK Kota Kupang sudah mampu menggunakan e-learning berbasis google classroom dan zoom cloud meeting secara mandiri. Akan tetapi masih ada beberapa guru berusia 50 tahun ke atas yang masih harus didampingi karena mengalami kesulitan dalam mengoperasikan menu share screen pada zoom cloud meeting dan melakukan penilaian tugas siswa di google classroom

    RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM PEMBELAJARAN ELEKTRONIK BERBASIS CLOUD COMPUTING

    Sistem pembelajaran elektronik atau lebih dikenal e-Learning merupakan sistem yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran berbantuan media jaringan komputer baik itu intranet atau internet. Dalam pengimplementasian-nya sering terkendala masalah infrastruktur dan sumber daya manusia yang memelihara. Berkembangnya teknologi memungkinkan e-Learning dapat diimplementasikan pada teknologi cloud computing sehingga satu sumber daya dapat digunakan secara bersama-sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun suatu sistem pembelajaran elektronik berbasis cloud computing dan mengukur kelayakan dari faktor fungsionalitas dan kebergunaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai solusi dalam pengembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi khususnya cloud computing yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan diadaptasi dari model sekuensial linier. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sistem pembelajaran elektronik telah dirancang dan dibangun pada insfratruktur virtualisasi cloud computing menggunakan KVM dengan dibangun dari tiga sub-sistem yaitu video conference system (bigbluebutton), learning management system (moodle) dan cloud storage system (ownCloud). Sistem pembelajaran elektronik berbasis cloud computing dalam penelitian ini 81,62% memiliki kemampuan untuk menyediakan fungsi sesuai kebutuhan pengguna (fungsionalitas) hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli sedangkan sistem tersebut 83,23 % mudah dipahami, dipelajari, digunakan dan menarik pengguna (kebergunaan) hal ini dapat dilihat berdasarkan penilaian dari guru dan siswa;--- E-Learning system is a system used in the learning process with assisted computer network be it intranet or internet. Its implementation is often constrained or affected by the problem of infrastructure and human resources that sustainted the system. The development of technology bring through the e-Learning implemented on the technology of cloud computing so that the resources can be used together. This study intend to develop an electronic learning system based on cloud computing and measure the advisability of functionality and usability factor. This research was conducted as a solution for the development of communication and information technology in particular cloud computing that is used in the learning process. System development method that used was adapted from the linear sequential model. Based on the results that e-learning systems have been designed and built in insfratruktur cloud computing virtualization using KVM with built of three sub-systems, namely video conference system (bigbluebutton), learning management system (Moodle) and cloud storage system (ownCloud). Electronic learning system based on cloud computing in the study 81.62% has the capability to provide the functions according to user needs (functionality) this can be seen by an expert assessment of 83.23% while the system is easy to understand, learn, use and attractive user (usability) it can be seen based on the assessment of teachers and students

    Intention to adopt Cloud-based e-Learning in Nigerian Educational Institutions

    Institutions of higher education must utilize innovative information and communication technologies for teaching in Nigeria. Thus, cloud-based e-Learning is essential to curtail educational challenges such as limited infrastructure, funds, and student-to-lecturer ratio. Recently, there has been widespread enthusiasm regarding Cloud computing for e-Learning; adopting and strategically utilizing these technologies remains a significant challenge for higher education institutions. Furthermore, there is a limited understanding of how cloud-based e-learning can transform Nigerian educational establishments. Cloud-based e-Learning systems' technological components have been the subject of numerous study studies, but little is known about how they operate from an organizational perspective. Accordingly, using the Technology-Organization-Environment theory, the goal of this study is to investigate the variables that influence the adoption of cloud-based e-learning. The findings of the research show that relative benefit and competing pressure have a big impact on whether cloud-based e-learning is adopted. However, compatibility, security, and top management commitment do not appear to be significant determinants. These findings will help Nigerian education institutions, the ministry of education, and practitioners to understand the critical factors for adopting this technology for improved education
