Background: The implementation of SMM as a business strategy is supported by increasing globalization. Internal audit is the process of providing independent and impartial advice and assessment to improve a company's operational efficiency. This program can help a company achieve its targets by utilizing systematic and disciplined methods to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk-based management systems and strong operational controls. Objective: To understand the implementation of QSM related to internal quality audits in industry at PT Otsuka Indonesia based on GMP and ISO 9001:2015. Methods: The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted by collecting company documents related to internal audits. Document analysis was carried out using interactive analysis methods. Results: The result shows that PT Otsuka Indonesia has carried out a regular internal audit schedule once a year for all department units in accordance with CPOB clause 8.3. The number of findings combined with all existing departmental units in 2021- 2022 has decreased. In 2021, 44 findings were found, while in 2022, 38 findings were found. However, the number of findings may increase within a departmental unit. Meanwhile, in 2022-2023, the number of findings when combined with all existing departmental units will experience an increase in the number of findings. The results of the internal audit program evaluation each year can reach 100% in each departmental unit. Conclusion: The implementation of QSM related to internal quality audits at PT Otsuka Indonesia is well practiced in accordance with GMP and ISO 9001:2015

Eighth Graders’ Approaches to Reading Analysis as Compared with the PSSA’s Application of Common Core Standards

States administer standardized tests such as the PSSAs to students each year to assess student mastery of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Many argued the CCSS and close reading are reincarnations of new criticism (Tampio, 2018), but CCSS creators did not cite empirical research showing students approached literary analysis through close reading or new criticism (Dewitz & Graves, 2021; Hinchman & Moore, 2013). In opposition of new criticism, Rosenblatt (1978) argued for transactional reading with her reader response theory. In order to examine how students make meaning of texts, this study used a simultaneous mixed-methods QUAL-QUAL design (Morse, 2010) to examine the research question, How does the literary analysis approach of eighth-grade students compare to the reading paradigm utilized on the (PSSA)? The first qualitative component was a document analysis of PSSA released items from 2015, 2021, and 2022 to examine the question, What reading paradigm do the text-dependent analysis questions align with on the eighth-grade PSSA? The second qualitative component was a case study of nine eighth-grade students attending a suburban middle school reading and responding to texts from the 2021 PSSA released items to examine the question, How do eighth-grade students in a Pennsylvania middle school approach literary analysis? I concluded the PSSA text dependent analysis questions do not directly align with new criticism but approach analysis as task driven and text-based, while students begin their analysis with concrete text references but later shift to transactional analysis

Income Mobility and Mixing in North Macedonia

This study presents the inaugural analysis of income mobility in North Macedonia from 1995-2021 using the Mixing Time and Mean First Passage Time (MFPT) metrics. We document larger mobility (in terms of Mixing Time) during the '90s, with and decreasing trend (in terms of mobility) until 1999. After this year the Mixing time has been consistent with a value of around 4 years. Using the MFPT, we highlight the evolving challenges individuals face when aspiring to higher income tiers. Namely, we show that there was a noticeable upward trend in MFPT from 1995 to 2006, a subsequent decline until 2017, and then an ascent again, peaking in 2021. These findings provide a foundational perspective on the income mobility in North Macedonia.Comment: Research in progress to appear at the 4th International Scientific Conference on "Economic and Business Trends Shaping the Future

This analysis of summer 2023 is a sequel to the summer 2022 Analysis of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Observation Data from 1976 through 2021, also available as a web page through end of 2024 here. A presentation of that and subsequent analysis presented at Kutztown University in November 2022 and to Hawk Mountain researchers in January 2023 is available as PDF slides here and also on the web through 2024 here. This work was funded by a Kutztown University Research Grant for spring 2022 through summer 2023. Analytical use of these data proceeded through a subset of projects in three courses in the 2022-2023 academic year: CSC 458 - Data Mining & Predictive Analytics I in fall, CSC 523 - Scripting for Data Science in fall, and CSC 558 - Data Mining and Predictive Analytics II in spring. These courses include iterative exploration of data relationships that often result in new discoveries and consolidation of previous discoveries. The current document focuses on one significant data relationship, that of consistent decrease of wind speed measures at Hawk Mountain\u27s North Lookout, called regional stilling, to declining counts in certain raptor species from September through November in the later years of 1976 through 2021

The research's goals are to compare speaking achievement between extrovert and introvert personalities, and to see if there is a significant difference in speaking achievement between extrovert and introvert personality on the tenth grade at Senior High School 1 Pejagoan in the academic year 2020/2021. This study is classified as quantitative research with a non-experimental design. The population of this study is the tenth-grade students of SMA N 1 Pejagoan in the academic year 2020/2021. The researcher used a purposive selection strategy to select 60 students as her sample. The data was collected using a questionnaire, and the teacher provided the researchers with a copy of the student's speaking achievement as a document. There are 24 Yes/No questions in the form. To answer the issue and hypothesis statements, descriptive and inferential analysis techniques are used to analyze the data. The results of this study demonstrate that extrovert students' speaking achievement is in the "good" category, with a mean of 79.34, while introvert students' speaking achievement is also in the "good" category, with a mean of 77.50. Extroverts have higher English speaking scores at Senior High School 1 Pejagoan of the tenth grade. The result of hypothesis testing showed that the z-value (2526) computation result is higher than the ztable (1.96). Because Sig (2- tailed) is less than 0.05 (0.0070.05), Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Furthermore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in speaking achievement between extrovert and introvert students in the tenth grade of SMA N 1 Pejagoan in the academic year 2020/2021
