WS-Governance: a Policy Language for SOA Governance

The widespread use of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) is beginning to create problems derived from the governance of said structures. To date there is not a single effective solution to solve all existing challenges to govern this type of infrastructure. This paper describes the problems encountered when designing a SOA governance solution in a real e-Government scenario. More specifically, we focus on problems related to specification and automated analysis of government policies. We propose a novel SOA governance specification model as a solution to these problems. We have named this model WS-Governance. in order to ease its adoption by SOA practitioners it: i) shares WS-Policy guidelines and is compatible with it, ii) has XML serialization as well as a plain-text one and iii) has a CSP based semantics that provides a precise description as well as facilitating the automation of some editing and WS-Governance related activities such as consistency checking

Now we are moving towards the "Internet of Things" (IOT) in millions of devices will be interconnected with each other, giving and taking information provided within a network that can work together. Because of computing and information processing itself IOT core supporters, So in this paper introduces "Service-Oriented Computing" (SOA) as one of the models that can be used. Where's it at each device can offer functionality as a standard service [4]. In SOA, we can make the resources available to each other in the IOT together. However, a major challenge in these service-oriented environment is the design of effective access control schemes. In SOA, the service will be invoked by a large number, and at the same time authentication and authorization need to cross several security domains are always used. In this paper, we present the analysis of data safety suatua WorkflowBased Access Control Model associated oriented (WABAC) to troubleshoot problems that occur within a system integration. The analysis showed that the point system function model based integration system that is lower than the legacy model of SOA-based systems, by designing several services using WOA approach. In addition, we have observed that the integrated model can guarantee the quality of service, security and reliability main, by applying SOA approach when needed. Finally, experimental results have proved that the service can be run side by side seamlessly without performance degradation and additional complexity

An MDA-Based Modeling and Design of Service Oriented Architecture

Abstract. Traditional approaches to software systems development such as using tools and modeling frameworks are appropriate for building individual object oriented or component based software. However they are not suitable for designing of flexible distributed enterprise systems and open environments. In recent years, service-oriented architecture (SOA) has been proposed as a suitable architecture for development of such systems. Most current approaches in employing SOA are tailored to specific domains and hence are not general purpose. Therefore, in order to gain the full benefits of such technology, a more effective general approach to modeling and designing these complex distributed systems is required. In this paper, we present a model-driven approach to SOA modeling and designing complex distributed systems. In this approach, first the PIM of the business system is derived and expressed in standard UML modeling constructs and then this PIM is transformed to the SOA-based PIM by some transforming tool. After the SOA-based PIM is obtained, it can be used to generate PSM for a specific platform such as Web Services, Jini or other platforms. To make it clear how this PSM could be generated we will use Web Services as a target platform and the steps of this transformation will be shown.

Deferred Action: Theoretical model of process architecture design for emergent business processes

E-Business modelling and ebusiness systems development assumes fixed company resources, structures, and business processes. Empirical and theoretical evidence suggests that company resources and structures are emergent rather than fixed. Planning business activity in emergent contexts requires flexible ebusiness models based on better management theories and models . This paper builds and proposes a theoretical model of ebusiness systems capable of catering for emergent factors that affect business processes. Drawing on development of theories of the ‘action and design’class the Theory of Deferred Action is invoked as the base theory for the theoretical model. A theoretical model of flexible process architecture is presented by identifying its core components and their relationships, and then illustrated with exemplar flexible process architectures capable of responding to emergent factors. Managerial implications of the model are considered and the model’s generic applicability is discussed
