Approximate solutions of hybrid stochastic pantograph equations with Levy jumps

    Get PDF
We investigate a class of stochastic pantograph differential equations with Markovian switching and Levy jumps. We prove that the approximate solutions converge to the true solutions in 퐿 2 sense as well as in probability under local Lipschitz condition and generalize the results obtained by Fan et al. (2007), Milošević and Jovanović (2011), and Marion et al. (2002) to cover a class of more general stochastic pantograph differential equations with jumps. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate our established theory

Convergence Rate of Numerical Solutions for Nonlinear Stochastic Pantograph Equations with Markovian Switching and Jumps

    Get PDF
The sufficient conditions of existence and uniqueness of the solutions for nonlinear stochastic pantograph equations with Markovian switching and jumps are given. It is proved that Euler-Maruyama scheme for nonlinear stochastic pantograph equations with Markovian switching and Brownian motion is of convergence with strong order 1/2. For nonlinear stochastic pantograph equations with Markovian switching and pure jumps, it is best to use the mean-square convergence, and the order of mean-square convergence is close to 1/2

This paper is concerned with the stability and numerical analysis of solution to highly nonlinear stochastic differential equations with jumps. By the Itô formula, stochastic inequality and semi-martingale convergence theorem, we study the asymptotic stability in the pth moment and almost sure exponential stability of solutions under the local Lipschitz condition and nonlinear growth condition. On the other hand, we also show the convergence in probability of numerical schemes under nonlinear growth condition. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate the theor

Convergence of the split-step θ-method for stochastic age-dependent population equations with Markovian switching and variable delay

We present a stochastic age-dependent population model that accounts for Markovian switching and variable delay. By using the approximate value at the nearest grid-point on the left of the delayed argument to estimate the delay function, we propose a class of split-step θ -method for solving stochastic delay age-dependent population equations (SDAPEs) with Markovian switch- ing. We show that the numerical method is convergent under the given conditions. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate our results

In this paper, we are concerned with the asymptotic properties and numerical analysis of the solution to hybrid stochastic differential equations with jumps. Applying the theory of M-matrices, we will study the pth moment asymptotic boundedness and stability of the solution. Under the non-linear growth condition, we also show the convergence in probability of the Euler-Maruyama approximate solution to the true solution. Finally, some examples are provided to illustrate our new results
