SPOC is characterized by improving teaching effectiveness. Currently open teaching mode is the popular trend, which is mainly related to several aspects: how to carry out teaching practice by using MOOC proprietary, high-quality online teaching resources in open education, that is, deep integration of curriculum resources and teaching design. On the basis of SPOC development, combined with open education analysis of SPOC with instructional design theory and philosophy from flipped classroom as a guide, the present research try to propose instructional design model based on flipped classroom, including design of teaching content system, design of personalized learning strategies, design of teaching activities and teaching evaluation system. Four designs above contribute to the effective implementation of the open teaching activities based on the blended model of flipped classroom and SPOC teaching, so as to enhance the quality of education. Lifelong Education has changed the old view of the end of education, and promoted sustainable development of education, which is a strategic goal of social development. Lifelong education exhibit new features to further achieve educational equity with the technical support of MOOC/SPOC. In recent years, teaching reform of applied chemistry profession promoted by Department of higher education has gradually gone deeper, but there are still some problems and difficulties, such as contradictions among basic of specialized subject, teaching hours and teaching content, difficulties of lifting of the teaching content and improvement of teaching quality, which restrict teaching reform process. Teaching practice experience of SPOC in applied chemistry profession is simply introduced, proposing countermeasure for SPOC in college teaching applications designed to enhance the quality of teaching for reference

In recent years, MOOC, SPOC and other online teaching modes have attracted widespread attention. Online teaching platforms such as Tencent Classroom and MOOC of Chinese universities have emerged in an endless stream. During the 2020 outbreak of COVID-19, schools at all levels actively engaged in online teaching. The problems and challenges faced in the course of this teaching process will push the research hotspots of modern educational technology to construct the online teaching model that meets the needs of colleges and universities in the context of Internet + Education . This study collected the evaluation and feedback of college students from different universities and different majors on online teaching mode and teaching platform, conducted a quantitative study of SPSS samples, and analyzed the influence of learners\u27 and teachers\u27 participation on online teaching effect. Results show that: there is a positive correlation between learners\u27 attitude towards online teaching and the effect of online teaching, and between learners\u27 participation and the effect of online teaching. There is also a positive correlation between teacher’s participation and effect of online teaching. There is no clear correlation between learners\u27 use of equipment and online teaching effectiveness. Through the interview, learners reported low self-evaluation in online learning, and there are some problems in the teaching process, such as lack of teaching experience, poor platform interaction ability, and low supervision ability of managers. This study argues that in the development of online teaching, learners\u27 and platform users\u27 sense of experience and teachers\u27 participation should be further improved and perfected

The impact of a professional development MOOC on the teaching beliefs of University science laboratory teachers

This study contributes to the understanding of online professional development of university STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) lecturers. An active learning massive open online course (MOOC) to develop best practice in teaching in university science laboratories was developed using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model in three cycles. The teaching beliefs and intentions of the participants were determined before and after they completed the MOOC and their level of satisfaction with this professional development opportunity was examined using a survey. The results showed high completion rates and an appreciation of the online course design. Participants who completed the course evaluation were satisfied and they identified the usefulness of the active learning components that required them to discuss and reflect, develop plans and peer-assess. A large majority developed new ideas to help them to improve their teaching. The participation in the course increased participants’ understanding of the multidimensional aspects of laboratory teaching and the challenges related to it. The majority of participants changed their teaching beliefs to become more student-centred

Middle school physics experiment is a significant basic course with extensive content and strong practicability. This course has high requirements for students to master and understand the background and basic principles of various physical experiments, as well as the working principles and the use of various experimental devices. Based on the importance of physics experiment teaching and the limitations of the traditional experiment teaching mode, this paper first reviews the traditional mode in the context of the Internet and puts forward the new physics experiment teaching mode within "Internet Plus" in the new era, including theoretical guidance of constructing the experimental teaching mode, the innovation of teaching methods and examination methods, and the prospect of promoting the development of education industry. At the same time, this paper puts forward the network teaching platform system that can implement the new physics experiment teaching, including exercises, flipped classroom, and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), and discusses them separately, hoping to provide research reference for middle school physics teaching and research in the future
